I actually like this theatre overall...have been many times and enjoy the general cleanliness and the reclining leather seats! I'm rating this time based on going to see a sensory friendly showing of Aladdin and the show was VERY loud. The lights were up but sound was only reduced to their normal family screening level which is too loud for sensory sensitive kids! They thought it was programmed correctly (they admitted it wasn't) and they couldn't get the sound to a reasonable level prior to big booms etc happening in the movie (half the kids were in the theatre cowering). I feel like they should test the sensory sensitive levels of movies prior to showing so movies can be adjusted prior to showing the movie. I drove all the way to the other side of town to this theatre for this showing and just ended up leaving early with my kid in tears. They were willing to refund tickets and food fortunately but still we were trying to find out if sensory friendly showings might work for our family and now we still don't know. We appreciate that AMC even considers this important enough to try to have sensory friendly showings but feel anything worth doing is worth doing RIGHT. Next time I'll check by myself and if better then we'll try again as a family. read more

This was an awful movie experience. If your movie is in theatre 14 DO NOT purchase the tickets. Theatre 13 is IMAX and the sound from theatre 13 will ruin your movie experience in theatre 14. Shame on AMC management for not doing a better job in locating the IMAX theatre at the end or in a separate area of AMC 24. The location of the IMAX theatre is not an accident they do not care and probably feel most people will just deal with the distraction from the IMAX without complaining. Well 1hr into our 1hr 45min movie we got a refund. Please refuse tickets in theatre 13, get a refund if you come to realize the sound from the IMAX is a major distraction and always complain to management because they will not fix this if you do not complain. When you pay $11 for a movie you should only hear sound from your theatre!!! The lady at the counter said they could not adjust the sound in the IMAX because the customer paid for the IMAX experience-- but what about the experience I paid for!!!?? read more

Grandkids in town.. wanted to see Uncle Drew. Well, not playing in The Woodlands and closest to new home is Willowbrook. We waited in line; actually only ones in line, then my oldest Grandson said he thinks we buy tickets outside. He was correct. For a Senior, it was over $8.00, for the kids maybe $6.00 each. We walked into an old movie theater, ordered Pizza, Popcorn and 2 drinks for $36.00. We walked in the theater and it was very small. My Grandsons had two seats together and I sat one row ahead in companion seat for WC guest. We were trying to figure their seats out, and realized somebody was in their seats. They moved over after they heard me say, I will go get the hostess. The seats were recliners which is very nice, but many had torn faux leather which is germs to me. The movie was good, prices high for a theater of that age and wear. The kids said the pizza and popcorn were good. read more

The remodel has given AMC a second opportunity. The new AMC is clean, modern and sharp. I am still bothered when allowing the employees to touch my mobile device when entering my stubs card number, however, that is a minuscule thing compared with the great service and exceptional facilities. read more

This AMC theatre has improved drastically since the renovations last year. The reclining seats make the movie going experience even better. You can purchase your tickets online and pick out your seats ahead of time. They are even able to scan the tickets right off your phone so no more waiting in line to pick up hard copies of your tickets. They have a wide variety of menu options, candy and ice cream offerings. They also have one of those drink machines that give you the ability to customize from a larger variety of sodas and energy drinks. The food prices here aren't any cheaper than other theatres though (sad face). When it's my choice, this is the only movie theatre I go to now. read more

The newly renovated theaters are great. The red recliners truly make for a comfortable experience. The theater is over priced but movie theater isn't. They always have a nice variety of showtimes. You also have the option of selecting your seat which is cool. It also has a bar in the lobby so it now competes with other theaters like the studio movie grill. While I love it it's just a setup to fall asleep..lol Drinks and recliners! read more

I've been going to this theatre for years!! Went there last Saturday. Love the seats but when we get to our handicap seats, the theatre looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in some time. Food and trash all over the floor and in our seats. I cleaned it up...you're welcome!!! After the movie, we went to talk with management but there wasn't s worker to be found. We walked all over looking for ANY one that might be working...NO-ONE!! We left vowing to NEVER to return. This theatre is TRASH!! Came here last night (Saturday) to watch insidious. Chairs was nice and all. Only thing i don't like is loud obnoxious people. Not only was there a bunch of teenagers sitting all over the stairs to watch the movie, but they was moving all over the theater room being loud and shit. It was obvious that they did not have tickets to the show that me and my family paid for in full amount, but even the staff members didn't kick them out. It doesn't justify to pay $80 for tickets only to not be able to enjoy the movie like we should. read more

We bought tickets in advance for a 4:20 showing at this location. On arrival, we were not allowed in until 4:30 due to a fire that had happened that morning. We were not notified of this until we got there. After waiting outside for about 20 mins, we went to scan our tickets inside, and only at that point were we told that all showings before 5 were cancelled! We were sent to speak to the customer service desk. They told us that the 4:20 was the latest showing of the movie (so our trip has been fully wasted at this point) and then told us that they couldn't refund us since we bought tickets through Fandango. I then had to call Fandango to get a refund, which they granted, but they wouldn't return my convenience fee. Basically I paid money for a movie I never actually got to watch. 1 star and won't be returning. read more

Booked our tickets online and they were average price compared to local theaters. We got seated about 15 minutes before movie started and ordered. Waitress couldn't get our order right until it was repeated and corrected several times. One of the things ordered was a pitcher of beer (brought a glass the first time) then it took a good 20 minutes into the movie before it was finally brought out, long after our food had come out. Frozen lemonade took an hour to be brought out. Portions were small and WAY over priced. We were also brought out a large icee we did not order (but thought might be the frozen lemonade) and were charged $7 for it. We ordered: Pitcher of beer Kids Mac and cheese Pretzel bites Popcorn (cold and didn't taste good) Frozen lemonade sampler platter (Icee we didn't order but was on bill) The bill totally was $85!!! I'm sorry, but you could get a nice meal for that price, but not movie theater food. Definitely not worth it. Service was ok until movie started then you couldn't get anyone to come by. I suggest you order your ticket online and then allow them to scan the barcode from your phone whenever you come to the theater. The facility isn't what it use to be. The restroom is disturbingly dirty with unflushed toilets, wet seats, and bins that are overflowing with paper towels. The food court is overcrowded with people leaving food droppings all over the carpet. The designated theater is more decent but still not as clean as it should be, and the lovers' seats are comfortable but are worn from its overuse. Meh, this place is ok. read more

Came to see the new Thor movie and for starters I chose a date when it wouldn't be so packed. I had already paid for my seats through the Fandango app (Highly recommend) it was on IMAX, the price was reasonable. But I will say that I was a bit bothered and uncomfortable with the glasses they provided. I appreciate how they managed to clean the room very good. I will say they need to get it together with the bathrooms but I guess it's decent enough. Also, the staff needs to get it together and on top of their trash game. (You know as we walk out the theater) Not gonna lie I was disappointed that I couldn't fully relax on the black seat just like you can fully extend the red seats. read more

Doesn't deserve even 1 star, this is the worst experience I've ever had with any place and worst employees period. Manager Dan Hensley and Mera Briggs seriously need to be FIRED for harassment and following customers to their cars. I have seen multiple bad reviews for Dan Hensley but I think my experience tops it. This theater picks and chooses when to ID people for the movies, and unfortunately my boyfriend and I were refused access to a rated R movie for being 19 instead of 21. I was not told this when buying the tickets, believing it was 17, and the sign is misleading since it does not directly say you must be 21. It only says "If you are under 17, you need a 21 year old" not a great way to word it. I also have a SCREENSHOT of my ticket email that directly says "Guests must be 17 or older UNLESS accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years old" so technically I fit the age and they were wrong. Regardless, we asked for a refund and they were going to give it to us but when I asked about the sign they refused to give me a refund anymore and called security on me for "yelling". I never once raised my voice and wasn't aggressive but the employees were to me. Manager Dan Hensley and Mera Briggs covered their nametags with their hands and refused to tell their names verbally, I only saw one of them but happened to know the other. Mera Briggs also lied about being a manager when she was not. We were told to leave and left immediately as asked, only for these 2 employees to FOLLOW US to our car with security and get behind our car as we were backing out. They called the police and manager/employee laughed at us as I was ripped out of my car by security (despite being told I wasn't being detained so this was illegal) and called my boyfriend and I "trespassers" during the situation. We were harassed for almost an hour before being let go since we left the theater when asked and did NOTHING wrong. This was 100% harassment and I'm convinced this happened because I asked Dan Hensley and Mera Briggs for their names, they wanted to get back at us since they knew we would call customer service. When I called customer service for my feedback and to get the refund, they told me I must go BACK to the theater and speak to a different manager to get my refund even though I told them I do not want to be harassed again. I'm going to try tomorrow to do this but my boyfriend and I fear they will literally try to ARREST us for "trespassing", we will see I would never recommend going here to anyone you can't say a damn thing to the manager if you don't want to be harassed for an hour and have security put their hands on you illegally... and good luck ever getting a refund even for a show you never saw lol read more

I've given his theater like four times to get it right it seems I have an issue every time I come here. Today's incident was a lady coming in line in front of me in the stubs VIP line. I pay an annual fee just so I can stand in this line and get the perks of it. And when I informed her this was a line for stubs members she blew it off and proceeded to go to the counter at that point I felt as though the staff should've informed her she was in the wrong line and get back to the end of the line in the regular line because she had cut in front of everyone. Also when it was time for me to go into the theater with our assigned seats there was someone sitting in my seat not only were they sitting in our seats but they had spilled popcorn and butter all over him and asked would you please clean it up they reply well these are your seats now. this place has gone to s***! totally dirty and not well kept in the lobby, ladies bathroom smelled horrible and had full toilets so i guess the sensors were all broken. no soap in the dispensers in the sinks. our theatre had no A C and when i told an employee he said 'oh yeah 7-11 are not working. you can get a refund up front' like he didn't care at all and didn't even apologize. its expensive as hell, especially the concessions. will never go here again. read more

I've been to this theater a few times. The reclining seats are awesome. Beyond that, they really need to manage the place better. The bathrooms are downright nasty. More often than not, you have to go from stall to stall to stall looking for one that is semi-clean. I went to an 11:00 am movie and 8 out of 10 soap dispensers were out. The concession line is always ridiculously long and the people working it are super slow. Also, the floors in front of the register are always full of popcorn and the counters are inevitably sticky. I went here about a week ago with my boyfriend to watch a new released movie. When we got to the cashier he asked me and my boyfriend for an ID to verify our age. I am 21 and my boyfriend is 25 the movie was PG-13 yet the cashier refused to sell us the tickets for the movie. Luckily I wasnt far from home and we made a quick trip to my apartment. When we returned, we went to the same cashier and this time he didnt even ask for it. Seats are better, everything else is worse. .Long lines that barely move, outrageous concessions prices (we all know that's a given), staff that looks permanently high, disgustingly dirty bathrooms. I took my son here for a movie for the first time. Pretty nice theatre. They have reserved seating as well so no struggle finding seats. However, you MUST plan in advance. This place is not for sporadic movie goers. They sell out very often. The theatre was clean and the staff were very efficient. Long lines if you do not get tickets online! read more

The seats were great, make sure if you're a couple pick a seat in the front, they have interesting looking comfy seats... I enjoyed my time here, the only issue here is that the restroom was really poor. This theater is nice and all but after coming here a few times I have gotten quite irritated of this place. You have to reserve your seats ahead of time at least one week ahead of time that is if you have the stubs card. Every Time we go even if it is two hours ahead of time we always had to sit at the front. Yes the seats go back and are comfortable but it is so irritating. Everything else is great, great service, convenient, and a lot of available times to go to but because of the inconvenience of having to make a reservation we don't want to come here anymore. read more

I love, love, LOVE the new reclining seats! I won't go to any other theater because of this. I feel like I am at home and bring my blanket when I see a movie here. I like the fact that we can reserve our seats as well because I know for certain there will be seating for us. Also, it does not feel cramped inside the theater room with the new set up. They have upgraded their concession stand as well with new items, and the lines move relatively faster than before because the drinks are self serve. On top of this I have their AMC Stubs card which I have saved money on tickets and gotten upgrades on my drinks and popcorn - well worth the annual $25 fee if you go to the movies often like we do. read more

My favorite movie theatre in Houston. I drive 40 minutes for the red leather recliner seats. I love being able to feel like I'm in my living room. Seats are comfortable, I like getting icees too lol. The only thing I don't care for is the popcorn already being pre filled in the tubs. I'd rather self serve my own popcorn then pull it from the shelf warmers. I am a premiere holder and the discounts for food/movies is great. read more

I haven't hit this location in over 9 months. Ummm, I'd give ZERO stars if it were an option. I literally just walked away from the box office after learning about their whole new -reserved seating for the entire theatre- concept. ANNOYING! In theory, it sounds great, but they should only use mandatory reserved seating for the AMC PRIME auditorium, not EVERY auditorium! Most folks would prefer to randomly choose their seat upon entering the auditorium, plus it gives us the freedom to move to another seat if some obnoxious couple, or family/w unruly children comes in sitting behind you. Also, they now ban all backpacks, yet WOMEN can bring in their body bag sized purses?? LAAAAME! I'll stick with AMC 30 (dunvale location) as they don't have all of these ridiculously unnecessary, and discriminatory rules. read more

I like the renovations. The rooms are clean and nice. The seats are extra comfy and I love that you can recline them. They don't have weird residue on them like other places or dark marks or spots. It's nice if you're on a couple date because you can sit up close with your date. The only strange thing about the seats is if you go in a group you would sit near each other, but there is a space in between the seats; so it's best to go in groups of 2. There is now a bar; so if you would like an alcoholic drink while watching a movie you could order something. The screen isn't too small, but there are other theaters that have larger screens, but it isn't too bad. The service here is friendly, but sometimes the lines take a while and can be a bit slow. They have about 5 kiosks where you can purchase your tickets out of the line, but they never seem to be working; so what's the point of having them? Overall, this theater is alright. I don't usually choose this theater to watch a movie, but sometimes when I don't want to drive too far, I'll venture here. read more

There was plenty of parking and the amenities inside were nice. However, the theatre was dirty, almost all the restroom were missing toilet paper, some of the drink machines were out and my popcorn wasn't even filled to the top. Very disappointed because I heard it was actually nice. read more
