They have a monthly program for pest control. I'm actually not opposed to this, seems all the companies are going in that direction. The fact that I pay $55 a month and not all pests are covered disappoints me deeply. I called 2 other companies, one was a few dollars more one was a few dollars less but they do cover all pests including mice. Amco wants to put you in a other membership for mice so additional money. So to be clear. 2 ither st peters companies will do more for the same or a little less money. To cancel contract of course I have to pay $200. I went with amco the first person I called because the staff was friendly. I should have called around and got different quotes so that Is my fault and I knew better. read more

We went with Amco Ranger based on the positive reviews we saw online. I can say that, by and large, the staff was professional, courteous, and responsive, both on the phone and in person. So those are positives. There were, though, two significant negatives for us. One, the only products they seem to push are one-year contracts paid out in one-month installments. Those contracts - which include both a fairly large startup fee and a recurring monthly fee - add up to several hundred dollars. In addition, if you cancel early there is a cancellation fee equal to half of the remaining balance. If you pay up front for a contract and later discover the problem is gone, or that their work isn't solving your problem, you've potentially lost a lot of money. They don't really talk about one-and-done services when they visit, so customers are likely to feel compelled to get a more expensive contract to get services. Also, keep in mind that while the contracts pay out monthly, workers don't necessarily come out every month and don't necessarily check everything they set up every time they visit. Two, while their site suggests they deal with just about every kind of nuisance, we discovered, the hard way, that there were exceptions. We had one of their inspectors out because we were hearing sounds inside our wall. He quickly concluded that it was probably mice. We weren't sure based on the noise, but he was the professional, so we followed his lead, and got the 1-year contract he pitched to us. By chance, a couple of months later we saw birds coming out of a spot in the house very near where we were hearing sounds, and realized that was likely our problem. When we called Amco, though, we were told that they didn't deal with birds - they told us they were too difficult -- and there was nothing they could do to help us. Keep in mind that we had a 1-year rodent contract at that point, but there was no way to transfer or otherwise get help on our bird problem. We eventually cancelled our contract, losing some of our money in the process. Overall, our experience wasn't terrible, but there are definitely some things to keep in mind with Amco. If you go with them, you'll most likely be told to go with a 1-year contract. What's more, you will want to be sure they take care of the animals you might be dealing with. For termites, mice, and moles, you're probably okay. But if it's something else, you'll want to make sure you ask. read more

First couple of months and treatments and things have improved and responsive as a company overall!

I wanted to take a second to say thank you to the Owner of Amco Ranger in Cottleville Drew Mannino. We have been Amco customers for about 2 years now and have always been satisfied with their services. In fact, this was a terrible summer for mosquitos and we had them out on several occasions because of this. Not only did they come out, but the made sure to get to the root cause of the issue and make sure through their follow up that we were 100 pct satisfied. The reason I am writing this review is because of something that happened on December 6th 2017. The technician had visited our home that day, and by mistake he happened to leave our gate open to the back yard. We discovered this too late as our 3 dogs, 1, a brand new puppy were gone. The good news is after searching for awhile, the dogs were all home safe. I wrote an email the next morning to Drew, not to complain so much, but to remind his techs to make sure they latch gates this time of year, especially with the winds we get in the winter. Not only did he write me back quickly and assure me that he would talk to his staff about the importance of closing gates all the way. A few days later we received a package at our door. It was a bark box filled with doggie toys for our fur babies. Drew didn't have to do this, and that was not the reason for the email to him. But he proved to us that his company truly cares about customer service and is dedicated to our customer experience. Thank you Drew to you and your team. We will continue to be loyal Amco customers. Under a service contract with them. 2 guys spent 10 minutes in their truck looking at their cell phones, then a TOTAL of maybe 5 minutes spraying outside of house. Finished it off with another 10 minutes in truck looking at phone. That's what my $$ get me, shame on me. read more

I called to have them treat mosqitoes in my yard. They wanted me to sign a years agreement and I pointed out that I wouldn't need mosquito treatment in the winter which they said I could cancel for a $250 fee!!!! Ummm no how about you come and do one treatment of the mosquitoes? They responded that I could do that for $350!!!! :0 That included their cancellation fee!!!! I will never use this company!!! I called and went with All Solutions they go until October, ya know because mosquitoes don't come out in the winter!!!!! read more

If you are looking for a company the values you as a customer and understands customer service don't use Amco pest control. I contracted with them this summer to take care of my mole problem. Not only did Amco refuse to get rid of my moles to begin with they also didn't honor the 2 month warranty. Stay away from this company. David l read more
