Service is amazing. Great cheese dip and salsa. We had a very large group and they kept up with our drinks and any other needs.

Inside: way too bright. Like a cafeteria. Advice: darken like casa Mexicana. Sat at the bar. Seats super tacky with their names. Too bright and need more booths. Chips. Better than el charro and casa grande. Crunchy crispy without being too thick. Cheese dip. Better than el charro. Thicker. And much bigger bowl for same price. Why are restaurants to super cheap with cheese dip Serving sizes? It can't be that expensive. This place does cheese dip right. Service. Super amazing. As good as casa mexicana. And so much better than el charro. El Charro service has begin to suck. Margaritas so many flavors of frozen which is my favorite. Casa mexicana great reg margarita. El charro super mango margarita. This place great strawberry marg and cheaper than the others. Food. Husband had tacos beans and rice. Super average. Below quality of el charro. Me. I had the rice and grilled veggies and mushrooms. I have to say. Better than el charro. Would go back again. Primarily for service. And next chips and cheese dip. Next margaritas. And lastly food. No

Even the salsa (chips and salsa) was a little spicy without lingering too long on your taste buds. We went at an odd hour and it was quiet in there enough to talk across the table. They were initially quite attentive but got a little lax when we were ready for desserts and the check. But I don't fault them as it was close to closing time (it was a few minutes after by the time we paid and walked out) so they may have sent some of their people home already. I recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, clean (including the restrooms), and the staff were engaging and aiming to please. The salsa is the best I've had at a restaurant in years. The guacamole is really good too. It's chunky with tomatoes, red onions, and cilantro mixed in. My husband had the Fajita Loca which is two chicken breasts on a bed of sautéed onions with a cheese and spinach sauce on top. It was served sizzling on a cast iron fajita pan with the usual fajita sides and tortillas. It was fantastic! I ordered the ceviche. It's made with shrimp and was very tasty. It wasn't served with the typical crackers so I don't know if that was an oversight or if they just don't serve it like that here. But they brought me warm corn tortillas when I asked for them. I'm not sure when we'll ever be going through this area of the state, but I'll definitely stop here again if we do!

Forest City was fast approaching, so we pulled up Google and discovered Iguanas Mexican restaurant. I guess that it was appropriate that we chose Mexican food for our dinner fare. After seeing the corona of the sun, it's only fitting that a Corona beer be ordered. But I didn't. I ordered a Dos XX instead. Corona is Mexican Budwieser. We were seated immediately and presented with menus displaying food choices printed top to bottom. And I mean top to bottom! Bring your glasses for there's so many selections from which to choose crammed onto that laminated card stock. My eye managed to ferret out a promising entree. The Burrito Grande. Steak, onions, peppers, beans, cheese, served with guacamole and sour cream on the side. Rice also came with it. When it arrived at our table, I was a little underwhelmed as to its size. Grande, it was not. Maybe it was Grande to the person who served it to me, for he was small in stature. But to a tall, strapping young senior citizen, it fell short of being grandiose in size. However, in taste, it was. So I'll give them a pass on the description. It was deliciously tasty. The grandkids had tacos and scrumptious looking enchiladas. Those left mere rings on the plates after they were done. I think that they enjoyed theirs as much as I did mine. Don't be dissuaded by its location. Iguanas is in a very nondescript strip mall. It's more deserving of a building of its own. But who am I to guess. I have no idea what rental rates are in the hamlet of Forrest City. For all I know, it may be prime real estate for the region. Go there and enjoy. They even have a small store inside where one can find an array of all things south of the border. Quick Tip: When searching for the restaurant across the vastness of the strip mall parking lot, look low for their sign. At the time of this reviews writing the sign over the restaurant looked like it was lost in a windstorm. No worry, though. The food will blow you away.

I might be doing something wrong when I order but this place is gross. Lowest, of low quality. Maybe it is so far away from the normal world that this is actually good food to you people. I don't mean to speak down on folks, but damn. This place is crap on a plate. Nothing I have had was remotely good. Last time I went I was so bad I just gave up and got the check. Chips suck. Half are inedible, but they all look the same so it's a chip Russian roulette. Salsa is the lowest form, and frankly should be called something else, eww. So bad. I'm not bashing any more. You get it. It's also run down and dirty, so there is that too. People are fairly nice though so that's cool. Don't listen to me though, what do I know?
