I did favor certain fields because after all, it's Florida... fight in the shade whenever possible. They have a very generous military discount in a few occasions each month, but prices are very reasonable even if you don't qualify for those. They split entrance fees into 2 sessions, 9-1 or 2-6. Personally, I'd like an all day option woth a significant discount rather then buying 2 sessions. But in this heat, 1 session is probably enough. Rentals are ok. Hoppers are good. Barrels are short. Ammo cost is incredible. I remember paying $80 in Colorado a decade ago. So anything cheaper then that is really good. I also only had 3 or 4 balls break in the barrel. The games we played were all single elimination. This definitely promotes more cautious play..but there is so much room for improvement here. I've played reincarnation, president, gun game, alamo... you name it. And... reincarnation forces more firing which means more profit and less down time for shooters. Win win.. For paintballers, I recommend and hope they add some creativity. For non paintballers, it's fun and safe but I recommend you come out on a day that isn't 80 degrees. It's hot. Trees block breeze. Shade is sporadic. And you want gloves, pants, boots, neck guard, and long sleeve shirt. It's hot. If you are worried about it hurting... it can hurt for sure. Most painful areas are neck and hands so gloves are a must. Neck gets hit infrequently so maybe a scarf or something. If you do a short sleeve shirt and then a long sleeve on top, that takes most of the bite away from being shot. You get the idea..

Everything was perfect, from booking online about a week in advance to the fun games the day of. They were super accommodating - the original day we picked got rained out, but they let us switch without any issue. The day of, we arrived and had the place to ourselves, which we really appreciated since we had small girls with us who didn't want to get pelted by a bunch of hardcore snipers lol. The entire staff was so friendly, and the refs were such polite young men. They went out of their way to explain the rules and give tips to my daughter (11 years old) and her friend. They even set up a game of capture the flag for us! We all had an absolute blast - for anyone afraid that it hurts, I'm a 50 year old mom and if I can take it, I'm sure nearly anyone can! I will say it stings a bit, but doesn't last long. The girls both got hit several times and there were no tears. We will be back and I highly recommend!!

Yes nothing like a good old fashioned knock down drag out wrestling entertainment to get anyone yelling. The gym are is large as they had a wrestling ring set up along with an entry way for the wrestlers to come into the area while being introduced. This place is big enough to have chairs all around a wrestling ring and to the wall and standing room only, (I think they had to turn people away) this was a popular event. During the art auction, the rugs were laying all over the large floor area, plus they had numerous paintings and sculptures displayed. During events, there is a kitchen area where they sell hot dogs and sodas and probably other items depending on the concession person involved. Please watch your step as you exit the building at night as the lighting is poor and the brick planter area out front is a tripping hazard as we found out during our exit, thus the check in at the ER.

First of all, how have I never heard of this course? While it is quite the drive from home, it was worth the trip to play a course none of our foursome have played. Starter was friendly and informative. Course had NO HOUSES on it which is an anomaly in Jacksonville. It was close to what I think is the Fernandina airport - we saw some folks parachuting - but tree lined fairways and openness was a pleasant backdrop for our day. Tee boxes were maybe an 8 out of 10 - some needed some work but trees can have an effect with how the sun hits them so there is only so much that can be done. Fairways were well maintained and greens were consistent on every hole. If you're off the fairway, you will be penalized. Not a lot of room in the rough then past that, and your ball is gone - either in a creek or just a drop off in the woods. I lost a sleeve which is pretty good considering not ever having played here. Maybe that's why my shots taken were less risky. They even had a little TPC-esque 17th island hole almost - short but all water carry to the green. We will definitely be back - and soon.

It's all Astroturf which is plastic which is very hard on dogs feet. 2 They don't allow digging which is a key trait in dogs. 3. They don't allow you to bring toys and they don't offer a variety of toys that dogs like, like tugging areas to climb places to dig places to run where they won't hurt their feet. 4. They allow aggressive dogs as long as you pay It's okay if your dog is aggressive and can take over other dog's entertainment And toys Supervision is lacking. 5. It is way over priced $200 a month are you kidding me $15 for the hour you spend with your dog there per day. The humane society is supposed to represent the community and be supplemental in cost it should be donations only. Don't waste your money on this bad dog park where your dog will get negative experiences.
