I found The Lofts at the Market through my Amex hotel portal and honestly had zero regrets booking it! The two-bedroom unit was so nice and super spacious. Everything was incredibly clean. I was mainly in contact with Emily and Jill, and they were both so responsive and accommodating throughout my entire stay. Everything is handled through text, but if anything urgent comes up they're available by phone. Anytime I needed something--like extra towels or ice--I got it right away. Check-in, the stay itself, and check-out were all seamless. There's no lobby, which didn't bother me at all. There's a little market walk downstairs with restaurants, though some were closed since we came during the week. But downtown is super walkable, so it wasn't an issue. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again when we're in the area. Thanks again to Jill and Emily for making everything so easy!

It has the best lighting of any place I have ever stayed. Sky lights, tons of windows, great views. So good. Emily and Jill were great about reaching out via call or text. Every morning they'd check in if we needed anything. They do room turn over if requested and everyone who works there is very nice. Tons of parking. Jill and Emily were accommodating even down to asking for ice and have it dropped in the room while we were out. They have insulted ice buckets so the ice lasts a very long time without melting. They don't have ice machines in the room which is slightly an inconvenience but they were able to bring it up during their staff working hours. The sheets were soft and quiet. Some sheets are so rough and loud they wake you up while sleeping but these were so soft. They have a vanity in one room which was nice. The lighting shouldn't be overhead it should be facing the person but since the natural light was so good I just turned my chair so it was fine. The shower has good pressure just gets cold as it is a half glass door. They bring tons of towels and have darker ones specifically for removing make up which is brilliant! They have a tons of fridge space with two side by side mini fridges. They only have a microwave option if you're bringing food. The TV is a smart TV and large wall mounted so you can watch and log in to whatever you want. There is also a TV in each room. They do have a coffee shop downstairs they recommend but it was beyond terrible so I'd suggest anywhere else but that place is not associated with them just close proximity. We were walking distance of the park and center. About 10 to 14 minutes. Tons of restaurant nearby which were super yummy. Uber/lyft were always withing a 5 minute wait. Sensorio is close by and so are so many good wineries. I recommend Cass, Niner, and Eberle. Also only a 40 minute drive to Hearst castle and the elephant seals! Overall I would definitely be back. The service was great, the room was beautiful, super comfortable, and very clean.

During our stay there was a group of about 50 people who had a weekend party with a suitcase size speaker that they took to the pool and played at their camp site. They appeared drunk and were singing/yelling to the lyrics. They played music so loud it could be heard through the entire park. They make lots of money renting golf cart which parents allow young children to use. While on a walking after dark we were almost run over by one of the delinquents who was driving with the lights off. They appeared to be having a water gun fights while each golf cart had about 12 kids riding in it. Contacted the office and the behavior continued, it appeared staff had no interest in correcting the problem. This behavior continued the next night and this time when I called staff would answer the phone. I've never been to a resort that if there's a problem, you're left on your own to handle. in my opinion, in the future I better off going to a state camp group where you pay significantly less. This place is more like camping on BLM land with amenities

Santellan Vineyards immediately stood out for feeling warm, family-centered, and genuinely connected to the kind of relaxed hospitality that still makes Paso Robles wine country feel special. Even through the event itself, you could feel the collaborative spirit behind the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail wineries -- people supporting one another instead of competing for attention. I especially appreciate that the PVWT wineries also help support local agricultural scholarships and education efforts throughout the community. Beautiful wines are wonderful. Beautiful people matter more. A genuinely lovely evening all around, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again at the Under the Estrella Sky Charity Dinner in August.

I thought I knew how to make a pizza until I came here. I found this rental while researching venues for an engagement party. Looks nice from pictures and…read morevideos, but dealing with the owner was difficult. In addition to the $750 event fee, she requires that both suites be rented for a minimum of THREE nights (almost $2000). This not only is an exorbitant rate, but seems absurd considering we would only need the space for one evening. Still, I was willing to consider it as a retreat for the bride-to-be. The owner also stated that she would need to have final approval over our caterer, which struck me as utterly bizarre. When I inquired about viewing the property physically, she did not respond for nearly a week and I had to contact her again before receiving an answer. We set up an appointment, only to be informed that she would be away, but she would "leave a list" with her husband if we had any questions. The day before our appointment, she emailed to say they had people checking in early and that we either needed to reschedule or we could still come, but we would only be able to view the outside of the property. Considering the price point, I opted to reschedule. Then two days before our second scheduled appointment, I received an email from her with a "heads up" that she and her husband both had to be in SLO BY NOON, so please be on time for our appointment - our 11AM appointment that she had already rescheduled once and was now going to be rushing through so they could get off to SLO. I found the insinuation that I would not be punctual quite insulting. At this point, I determined that as pretty as the setting looks in their ads, continuing to deal with the owner was not worth the hassle. My advice to others is to look elsewhere, as I am doing. There are lots of wonderful venues in and around Paso that are operated by much more pleasant and reliable individuals.
