(Full Disclosure: I just found yet another thing they broke and hid, never even told us when they were here three days ago. I'm kinda pissed. Again.)They have not once cleaned the house fully without missing things (obvious things like missed toilets and unmopped floors). On more than one occasion I've slipped and fallen on my ass on the bathroom tile. Note: the non-slip backing on ur bathroom rug only works when the cleaning crew doesn't put the rugs back immediately in wet floors! And now- this is the second time that I have been home while they clean and heard a crash- only to find out after they left that they broke something, hid it, and never said a word. They will vacuum and ding your furniture & walls, forget to lock the doors when they leave (usually no one is home when they're here). I actually have pretty basic standards- nothing outrageous and OCD. But I do expect them to respect our home and belongings. I've continued to try and deal with it for 3 years- support a local business, give them the benefit of the doubt, etc. But I've had it- they will never be allowed in our home again. read more

They need an interpreter if they don't speak English. They did a move out cleaning and didn't do the whole job and charged us $ 390.00 and only offered us a $ 50.00 rebate. I'm 78 years old and have never left a bad review until now. They also baggers me about recommending them. I would never recommend them to anyone. I pretty much don't care about their reviews. I personal experienced them taking my hard earned money and thinking it was ok. They can keep the $ 50.00 that they said they owed me which was a joke. I sincerely hope that folks take my review seriously. Another thing, they don't do a good job on regular cleanings. Sometimes the sinks were not cleaned, nor around the toilets, or the mirrors. Also I caught them not cleaning around the toilet in one bathroom or taking the bathroom rugs and shaking them out. The dead giveaway was when I saw lots of dust around and when I started cleaning it up I realized that , that much piles of dust only means one thing and that is that they ignored cleaning it.I don't think they are in business to do a good job or to please their clients. I hired this company to do a move out clean for my father before he sold his house. I had used them 3 times previously and I was happy with their work. They were an hour later than agreed, and when they arrived they did a subpar job. Here are pictures. As well as these pictures, thank be of the bathroom floors was not vacuumed or mopped. The fans were not dusted completely. We paid for windows to be cleaned and 3 were not cleaned. When I contacted them,they offered to come back the next day, but as I had stated, the house was being put in the market the next day and we were unable to get back in. If you have pets, reconsider hiring this company. They did a wonderful job cleaning the first few times. Then they sent a different team to our home. We received a less than satisfactory cleaning. I complained and they did listen but only took a small amount off the next cleaning. It was not worth what we paid! The following visit, one of the maids left our front door open - after numerous warnings telling them not to - and they locked one of our hairless cats outside for over 4 hours on a cold day. He easily could have gotten sick or worse. When I complained, their answer was to tell us we had to lock our animals away all day on the day of cleaning. We had to part ways. If they are not responsible enough to keep the door closed, then how responsible are they with the rest of our home? And, we are not used to having someone who works for us demand we lock our animals away. The actual service was good but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Amelia's Maids was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. We purchased the move-out service when we left our apartment and we barely recognized the place after Amelia's Maids was finished. When I scheduled the service, I reported problem areas to the office, and the cleaners worked hard to remove those stains. The cleaners far exceeded my expectations. The apartment's property manager was so impressed with the condition of the living room that she did not even walk through the rest of the apartment. She said that sometimes the company must re-clean after a tenant hires a cleaning service, but not this time! Thank you, Amelia's Maids, for helping me get my security deposit back! They do a fine job provided you don't have delicate or porous surfaces. I just renovated my master bath, and they assured me they would take care and be careful with my marble bathroom. Well, that was straight up lip service, because when I went to take a shower the next day, I noticed there were streak marks running down all across the marble tile from where they had sprayed their cleaner. This is permanent damage that can't be undone. I'm devastated. The cleaners they use in general are STRONG. My house smelled like cleaner for the following 2 days. Do NOT use this company if you actually want a deep clean. They did not provide the service as advertised the first time, so we had them come back and they STILL did not provide the service that we paid $300 for. We ended up cleaning the apartment ourselves, so we wasted not only money but also valuable time that we did not have. They offered to come back a third time, however we had already cleaned the apartment ourselves by that time. AND they have a no refund policy? Amelia's Maids did a move-out cleaning of our home 18-months ago. The job the three women performed was positively stunning. The cleaners were kind, respectful, efficient, and very thorough. We are moving out of a rental home to our new home. Without hesitation, we chose Amelia's Maids to do our move-out cleaning for a picky landlord. This time we are adding on window cleaning, inside and out. The supervisor does the window cleaning; so we can only imagine the windows will be cleaned to the highest standards. The office staff is equally friendly, kind, respectful, and efficient. I cannot imagine it gets any better than the well-run Amelia's Maids for move-out cleaning. DO NOT USE this company! They put a hole in my bathroom sink and are not replacing it! I am STUNNED! They basically called me a liar, telling me the hole was already there. Wow! I was 8 months pregnant and needed a good detailed cleaning of my house before baby girl came. I found Amelia's Maids and decided to give them a shot. My Hubby was against it and thought it would be a waste of money, and that we could just clean ourselves. (but I wanted all the dust, cat hair, and detailed stuff that I couldn't see to be cleaned!) So they came on a Friday while we were at work, Hubby gets home an hour before me and when he got home, he texted and face-timed me right away about how impresses he was, showing me everything they did and how awesome the house looked! Once I got home, I was also very impressed, they cleaned things I didn't even expect them to clean and the house just felt fresh. The one bad thing is that they DON'T ACCEPT TIPS ONLINE, so I couldn't tip them after seeing the great job they did! I didn't know this, so failed to leave them cash :( Will definitely be having them come again soon and now know to leave a cash tip!
