Don't waste your money or energy on hiring Amen Glass. Howard is a super nice person, but that's it. He came out with Sam on Thursday, took measurement's and promised installation for the following Tuesday. Called him all day Tuesday and Wednesday and finally came out to install on Thursday. They very poorly installed the unit which was too small and didn't bother to tell me. I complained immediately I kept texting and calling him. They measured incorrectly and and the installation was very poorly done. He blamed the header he sold me. He said I didn't need the header, but still charged me $345. The door was not wide enough so he offered to install a much larger seal. He said that he cannot get a door replaced because the glass companies are on strike. He is now ignoring all my calls and text. I have to hire another company to get the correct sized door. DO NOT hire Amen Glass!!! read more

Literally a scam. Seriously, stay as far away as possible. We had someone come out to give us an estimate and they returned with a reasonable price. We scheduled the install. They were no call/no show. I called and emailed them with no response. Finally they got back to me and said the appointment was never scheduled. They made another appointment for which they no call/ no show again. I called and emailed. Finally got a response with no explanation or apology. They said they would try and schedule me again. Unbelievable. I asked for my money back since they obviously do not care at all. They replied that per our agreement that the glass was mine and I could come pick it up and install it myself. Seriously? I have tried sending certified letters to get this resolved but both addresses listed have been listed as vacant. This has got to be some kind of scam they are running. I wish I could go after them with my lawyer but we cannot even locate them. Now I will have to eat the cost of the stupid deposit. I have been trying to resolve this for months. We hired them for two new construction showers with glass, they failed to satifactory install a quality job, owner just blamed it on his supplier of the glass. They quit responding Stay away. read more

Scheduled an appt for an estimate and was excited to find a company that seemed reputable. The guy showed up a little late for the estimate and refused to wear a mask. He flat out said, "we don't wear them. Is that gonna be a problem???" I told him I was high risk and wasn't comfortable with him coming in without a mask. He was just turned away and said they'd call me back to reschedule. I had moved stuff around with work to be there and he didn't even make an effort to get the job done. Lady called me back the next day and I just told them to forget about. So rude and unreliable. Not worth my business or time. read more

Worst company ever. Work was terrible and one of the windows was put in upside down so now it is cloudy and needs replacing. I've tried to get Howard back to correct the shoddy caulking but he doesn't return calls or texts. Don't use this company. These guys were awesome needed glass replaced in my French door. They came and replaced it within two days and did a beautiful job!

First, I just want to say that I thought the owners were very nice and helpful. However I'm so unhappy with their work. The delivery was super delayed and there was no communication on status. I gave them a deposit of half the balance upfront and then I had to call them after the original delivery date had passed and ask them why they hadn't charged my credit card the full amount and when they would be installing my windows. The person I spoke to informed me that the windows were ordered but possibly delayed because of Harvey (maybe possible). But, then not too long after that conversation, they were ready for installation. When the installers arrived, they were all late teens or early 20's. Age doesn't matter as long as they are capable. Unfortunately, I think they missed the mark. They told me they would be there from 9 am - 2 pm. I had to leave because I had to get to class. When I came back at 2:30 they were still here and made a huge mess of my condo. They informed me that the owner had stopped by and brought them lunch. What bothers me is why he didn't see that they were struggling and not going to finish on the time they allotted. They obviously needed help. Anyways, I hung around for a few hours but by 5:30 I was so stressed out because of the noise and mess. They had barely started the 4th out of 5 windows. I told them I was going to run a few errands and to please text me before they left so that I could come back and inspect their work. When I arrived back home they were gone and my condo was trashed. Not only did they not bother to let me inspect their work, but they left a huge mess. I'm happy that I have new windows but seriously would've liked for them to take better care in their process and least of all clean up after themselves. They left a huge mess on my floors, walls and even used my bed as a place to lay their tools and windows. They ruined my duvet cover. Not long after installation my contractor noticed that my kitchen window is not evenly installed. And when they sealed them they actually left gaps and got sealant everywhere. I thought there would be some sort of follow up after installation. But no one has contacted me. read more

The best local glass and mirror business. The entire staff is very friendly, helpful and the customer service was superb. Just WOW! The installers were clean, polite and fast considering they stacked 9 separate beveled mirrors per design with precision on the foyer wall. The owner, Harold has confidence and accuracy. Invisible braces and upgraded mastic was used. I love the outcome! My husband says it's his favorite design piece in our estate home. I didn't know how far behind the times and incompetent the other local mirror companies were until I asked Howard to evaluate a shower door issue that had been installed from the "other company". Our guests have been putting up with the guest bathroom floor flooding. They have to lay down 3 thirsty towels and take a quick shower. Howard's evaluation was that the flooding is the result of a busted water shield on the bottom of the glass door. Unbeknownst to me, the "other company" busted off an inch from the end, but they glued it on anyways. Sorry, I'm ranting...the point is, Amen Glass and Mirror is the best. I qualify that statement bc I've owned 13 homes all over the country and hired many glass and mirror companies. Howard, the owner, moved a mountain to have my job installed before the projected date bc I was having a luncheon/party the next day. Who does that these days? Amen does!! Replaced a double paned window in 2013 and did a great job. 2015 had hail damage. 10 windowpanes needed replaced. The windows they brought did not match. They had black frames instead of gray. Howard said he would keep my $800 deposit if I don't take them. Later he said he got me mixed up with a company account and he would order the correct windowpanes and Amy will replace the 3 installed that had black frames & the remaining 7 windows when they come in. Amy came out with the same black framed windowpanes. She said she replaced the 3 and installed the other 7. I told her I have cameras and she did not replace the 3 wrong colored ones. She said that they were the gray frames. I have never dealt with a company this dishonest and corrupt. DO NOT LET THE NAME & PRAYING HANDS FOOL YOU. These window panes have black stripes all around them. They do not match my other windows. read more
