Their technician, Raul, arrived and turned the water back on. He saw there was no runoff and explained that the issue likely resulted from a water pressure spike. He measured my line at 110 psi, confirmed water pressure was a concern, and pointed out that the water pressure valve regulator needed to be replaced. Raul then called the insurance company. In his initial report, he only mentioned that the failure was due to high water pressure, but he did not mention the faulty pressure valve regulator, resulting in my claim being denied. After I contacted the insurance company to explain, they reopened the claim so Raul could submit an amended report. This time, he included the pressure valve regulator but claimed that its failure was due to "abnormal" water pressure from the water district. Because he described it as "abnormal," my claim was denied again. I called the San Antonio Water System and confirmed the local pressure goes up to 150 psi, which is why a regulator is necessary, but my Watts valve is rated up to 300 psi. The city's water pressure is not "abnormal"--the regulator was simply faulty. Raul's failure to report the facts clearly and accurately--in both his initial and amended reports--shows a lack of prudence and professional responsibility. His actions led to my claim being denied twice. Why did Raul act as the expert on how SAWS manages its water pressure systems? What qualifies him to make such definitive judgments about city infrastructure? Homeowners expect technicians and their companies to provide fair, honest assessments that truly help resolve issues, not make the process harder.

Copper piping replaced that was fine and leaking faucet is still leaking. New toilet, four replacement faucets and some piping work on the outside faucets ran to almost $9000.

We needed a 14-50A outlet installed in addition to our wall charger for our 2 EVs. Since the desired location was on the opposite side of the garage from the electric panel, it was a large project. A long conduit over the corner of the ceiling has to be installed to support the electric wiring. We wanted to ensure we find the best quality company, not the cheapest ones, who can do quality work while not overcharging. We initially shopped around a few electric companies and decided to go with Ware because of his responsiveness, sincerity and honesty, as well as good reviews from others. His also matched the pricing of another company even though he is using quality materials. Robert, the owner, is extremely up-front, honest and hardworking. Not only did he not try to upsell us a larger breaker like another electrical company, he was willing to accommodate our busy work schedules and come out on a Sunday to do the install (that's good Taiwanese work ethics!) He definitely did not disappoint. Since it was quite a big project, I was impressed that he did almost the whole install by himself, only using another personnel to help him finish up. It was a 5-6 hour long install but we can tell how meticulous he was as well as the quality of work he does. The outlet was installed perfectly and our garage floor was vacuumed. Not only did he asked us to immediately try the EV chargers to make sure it worked, he also fixed a loose light fixture for us at the house he noticed. We definitely need support more of these hard-working, quality electricians/young companies and not cheap out like some other builders just to make a quick dollar.
