Twice this company has been out to my parents house for repairs. This is being done through a home warranty. The first time they tried to charge them over $2000 for a simple broken PVC water line. Now they are trying to charge $250 for a flush kit on a tankless water heater that has either a faulty element of faulty sensor. THESE PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTE THIEVES! Because of high water pressure, my water heater's valve failed. Thinking it was a problem with the water heater, I turned off its water source and called my insurance company, who recommended Zeus Plumbing. Their technician, Raul, arrived and turned the water back on. He saw there was no runoff and explained that the issue likely resulted from a water pressure spike. He measured my line at 110 psi, confirmed water pressure was a concern, and pointed out that the water pressure valve regulator needed to be replaced. Raul then called the insurance company. In his initial report, he only mentioned that the failure was due to high water pressure, but he did not mention the faulty pressure valve regulator, resulting in my claim being denied. After I contacted the insurance company to explain, they reopened the claim so Raul could submit an amended report. This time, he included the pressure valve regulator but claimed that its failure was due to "abnormal" water pressure from the water district. Because he described it as "abnormal," my claim was denied again. I called the San Antonio Water System and confirmed the local pressure goes up to 150 psi, which is why a regulator is necessary, but my Watts valve is rated up to 300 psi. The city's water pressure is not "abnormal"--the regulator was simply faulty. Raul's failure to report the facts clearly and accurately--in both his initial and amended reports--shows a lack of prudence and professional responsibility. His actions led to my claim being denied twice. Why did Raul act as the expert on how SAWS manages its water pressure systems? What qualifies him to make such definitive judgments about city infrastructure? Homeowners expect technicians and their companies to provide fair, honest assessments that truly help resolve issues, not make the process harder. read more

Our home warranty sent them out for a leak. While the techs that we're on-site were very nice, they mentioned that there was a nail next to our pipe that had a pin hole leak in the report which caused a denial from the home warranty. Even after they said it was probably wear and tear the fact that it was included made us have to pay out-of-pocket. When we started an appeal with the home warranty company a completely different person, named fred, that we had never talked to before nor was out at the house fixing the leak made up some story about recent construction in the same area that was not true to make it where the home warrenty company would not cover the costs again. read more

This is the fifth time over the past two years that Zeus Plumbing was dispatched on behalf of our home warranty company to resolve plumbing issues at our home. As has been the case in each of these previous appointments, the service that was rendered by Zeus Plumbing yesterday to fix some leaking faucet problems in our bathrooms was absolutely superb. Once again, our assigned plumbing technician, Travis, was top notch in every respect...he was punctual, professional, courteous and highly skilled, and he quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed the items which he could on site and promptly ordered the parts that would be needed to fully complete the work order. Travis was clearly focused upon providing a positive customer experience for my wife and I from the time that he arrived at our home until the time that he departed, and we continue to both appreciate and value his work ethic in this regard at a time when this level of customer care and exceptional service is very difficult to find in any repair-oriented field. We're also grateful to the other Zeus employees who continue to play a key role in the consistent delivery of great service and support to their customers: the operational manager, Chris; the front office supervisor, Sadie; and the dispatcher/receptionist, Ella. We had a leak in our water heater and luckily a home warranty through cinch. I called in and paid the deductible then set up an install. Our hot water heater located in our attic, of course, rusted thru and started leaking. Zeus has always done a good job at our house on other plumbing issues and never disappointed us. Thomas came out, explained everything because our heater was very old and needed code updates and modifications. We also found out we had too much water pressure going into our home. Thomas came the next day, installed a new hot water heater, a pressure relief valve and the water softener we also wanted. He was pleasant, very knowledgeable and professional even though he had to stay here till 9pm. to finish the job.
