Granted I was buying a super heavy Blackstone and couldn't have lifted it by myself even if I had had to! My family and I of course found several other things to buy as well while we were there. The prices are comparable or lower to anywhere else . If you have pets, an outdoor enthusiast, or somebody who just likes to cook you will undoubtedly find more than a few things to take home with you. And like I said before the employees are all so friendly and helpful it definitely makes you want to come back.

This time, I purchased a bunch of birds including baby ducks as usual, but when I got home, I realized that one of the ducks was crippled. It's got a twisted, malformed leg and it's limping. You would have thought "then go return it and get a new one, or go get your money back" I thought the same, in fact I did. You know what they said? Sorry we can't take responsibility for that. If you pay full price for something, you expect the best quality. If you buy a defective product of any kind, it would only make sense that they would refund you and take it back, or at least replace the product to a non-defective one. They did none of that. "Sorry, we don't take them back". I didn't pay full price to be stuck with your defective inventory. It's crazy how 100 good experiences can all collapse to the ground with a single bad experience. All of a sudden, the store doesn't leave a good impression in me. I don't just buy animals for the heck of having them. I also breed them, and good genes are key.

I called Vic Trejo, explained the situation, and he immediately stepped in to help. The very next day, he came to my property, picked up the mower, took it back to the shop, confirmed that my tractor needed a different style of flail mower, found the correct replacement, exchanged it, and personally delivered it back to me. Anyone can sell you a piece of equipment. The true measure of a company is how they respond when something doesn't go as planned. Garton Tractor proved to me that they stand behind what they sell and genuinely care about their customers. They may not always be the lowest-priced dealer, but I've learned that great customer service is worth far more than saving a few dollars. In today's business world, that kind of personal service is becoming increasingly rare. Thank you, Vic, for having my back and making sure I ended up with the right equipment. I'll gladly do business with Garton Tractor again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality equipment backed by exceptional customer service.

My hotsy pressure washer started having trouble with the unloader, So i called this company and…read morekelly was happy to help me. So we talked about how old was this machine and we determined that the machine needed service work and a unloader valve. so i had her send me a new unloader valve hoping that would do the trick, That didn't do it. So i called her back a week later and told her to send a tech to fix and to service my machine ,Sean the owner/manager and kelly suggested the pump might need to be rebuilt or a new one installed. I agreed and told them to bring a new pump just in case it was needed. Kelly made a appointment with me a week later in July , But it took them almost three weeks to finally show up and three phone calls later of giving me excuses. So the tech finally showed up on 08/29/24, I told him to change the pump to save time, mine was a 90's pump/machine. So he did the work and changed the pump and found the new unloader valve to be bad and exchanged it which took him the whole day. He told me he was done with the job and i told him what about the service, Kelly had said that was included with the job, He said it was not on the work order and left my business. I immediately called kelly to get the tech back to do the service she told me that was needed. She /Sean made more excuses, told me tough, There tech needed to get back he had a 3 hour back to his shop and she would make me another appointment for me. I told her that was unacceptable ,I am not going to pay for another trip up at $800.00 The whole job cost me $2156.97 and the machine will not work with the heat on , Which the tech never turned on!!!! So what i am saying to HOTSY , You should make North bay Equipment come back to my business and finish the job that they started with no travel charges and fix and service my machine as agreed. This is terrible customer service and until this is fixed ,I will never buy another Hotsy machine! Or deal with this company again. This is very dishonest and i will be contacting HOTSY. Tino B.

My string trimmer was beyond repair and when I decided to look for a new one, Stihl was the brand I wanted. The salesman at T&I was incredibly helpful in explaining the various models and features. When I'd made my decision, the salesman filled it with fuel, explained the operation of the trimmer, and demonstrated proper use before loading it into my truck. Cannot recommend these guys for on-site service…read more I had a John Deere riding mower. I had a broken steering assembly and wanted to replace the rear tires because of a flat (I already had the replacement tires). All in, about $250 in parts. That's not the problem. The problems started when they missed three scheduled appointments. Straight up no-showed. After the first two no shows, they apparently parted ways with the tech -- but, he had the parts so they missed the third appointment. I learned of that after they cancelled the appointment the day of. When they finally arrived they made the repairs (+ basic service on the lawn mower--I provided the service kit - but I figured they were there, might as well have them do it), but the tech indicated they'd need to use a tire shop to mount the new tires. Tech would come back the next day. He did, and I didn't think much of it at the time. Two months later, I finally got the invoice. First, despite never sending the invoice, they tried charging a financing fee because the invoice was pending for the two months they never sent it -- even though I could not have known what to pay until I got the invoice. Second, the invoice was not itemized. But, ultimately, to replace a $250 part, do the basic service, and change a tire, they were charging $3500(!). I think that's more than the cost of the original mower. When I finally got an itemized invoice, I discovered they charged me $1300 to pick up the tires at the shop, bring them back, and install it on the mower + $133 from the shop to actually mount them. That's more than 5 hours of labor to drive 20 miles each way to change a tire. Obviously, if anyone knew that would be the cost, they'd just do it themselves. If you have to use them (I know, with California not selling non-diesel mowers any more you may have to repair), expect delays, get a written estimate, and expect they will overcharge. But, I'd try and find another option first.
