Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. I ordered nacatamales to go and was given one that was not fully cooked. My mom ate some of it and didn't realize it until after she had eaten some of the masa and noticed that the rice and pork inside were still undercooked. She later became ill. Undercooked pork can pose a serious health risk, so this was especially concerning. To make matters worse, my mom used the restroom and noticed toilet paper in the trash that had fecal matter on it. It was extremely unhygienic and honestly disgusting. The only positive thing I can say about this visit was that the customer service was good. Unfortunately, the food safety and cleanliness issues overshadowed that, and I would not feel comfortable returning.

However, my biggest disappointment was the chicharrón ( nothing but inflated air ) It tasted store-bought instead of fresh and authentic, which was surprising for a restaurant representing Nicaraguan cuisine.
