The market part is great but the women working the restaurant part of the store are some what rude. I bought a pitaya drink that didn't taste like pitaya at all so I asked if I could exchange it for another drink. They did exchange it but they sure gave me hard time. They asked me if I tasted it - Yes how else would I know that it didn't taste like pitaya?! Then being told that I should've asked for a sample. That this is the only time that they would exchange a drink...so after being reprimanded like a child as I'm walking away with my new drink. I hear them saying "I filled that cup to the very top." Like if I drank half of it and tried returning it. I took two sips by no means was it empty. I also had the baho and it wasn't very good. I would not get it again. The cacao drink was good.

The hours that you see online, they are not accurate. If you decide to come I'll suggest to call first. Specially if it's morning

Hola, como hago para comprar rosquillas? Vivo en San Diego

Hola. Por el momento no hacemos envíos por correo pero venga y visítenos. Solo estamos a dos horas de San Diego. Una sobrina estudia en San Diego y siempre viene los fines de semanas. Gracias!

En ingles- (yo no puede escribir en Espanol bien) , entonces, ingles!…read more The food here is awesome! Our family is half Nicaraguan and half German-Spanish. We grew up eating grandma's Nicaraguan dinners and this is as close as you'll find to five star fabulously prepared Nicaragua meals. I ordered my favorite, which is Lengua con tomates y gallo Pinto. It's sooo good. My mom ordered pescado, my gringa wife ordered pollo y carne, and my brother ordered steak con maduros, Fritos y papas.... They even have cacao y pinol. All sandy n grainy like grandma made. We have been to the few other Nicaraguan restaurants around. One over by Loyola high school off Olympic, funky location, difficult to get into. The Gallo Pinto in Azusa, which is an easier location to get into with a mix of Nicaraguan and Mexican food. And now we have found this location. And after enjoying all three, I will tell you that this food wise and service wise is the most authentic and flavorful choice. It is five star of Nicaragua food preparation. The only drawback is it's location, nothing you could do about that. My mom's in a wheelchair makes it a little bit challenging to get in because it's not ADA friendly. So plan ahead, use the bathroom before you get there. And be ready for one of the best Nicaragua dinners in the greater Los Angeles area.
