After doing my homework for two months reading solar panel blogs and websites, I chose America Green Builders to buy and install the solar system for my home. I received several estimates from other companies. The America Green Builders Sales representative was very informative and did not pressure me in making a purchase. They provided me several options based upon my needs and budget. After studying the solar panel blogs on the Internet I knew the about latest solar panel technologies and the average purchase costs of various solar panels. I selected America Green Builders proposal which had a solar system with the latest technologies at below the average market cost! Once I signed the contract, they did not hesitate to start the installation process. Two days after the city approved the plans the solar system was installed on the roof. There were no delays during the solar installation process that was contributed to America Green Builders .The City Inspector even commented on how nicely done the installation was accomplished. Mike & Mike at America Green Builders are second to no one in the Los Angeles area We moved here 4 years ago and have now used 3 different landscaping companies on both of our homes and would not think of using anyone else. These guys know the business of landscaping- from seeds to lighting and everything in between, their expertise is unmatched. What can I say? Water Damage SUCKS, but thankfully America Green Builders doesn't! I came home to a huge nasty mess in the kitchen. Apparently a pipe broke and there was water all over the place. I called a few contractors first and they told me it had been a slow leak over time and told me that the condition of the kitchen was in dire need of a complete replacement and that we were being exposed to harmful black mold yadda yadda yadda... and I didnt believe them, as it sounded like an unscrupulous sales tactic. My good friend told me to contact Moshe who promptly came out and his crew took photographs of this "horrendous black mold" that in reality- didn't exist! He gave me a real quote and told me that a beam was in fact in bad shape and should be replaced, which I was ecstatic about- as that is a far cry from a total replacement- and we scheduled the work and new subflooring, and tiling to be done. I felt confident in his work, and he certainly didnt let me down! It's nice to know that I can count on him for a trustworthy job, as there are many folks out there who arent honest (ohhh big shocker, right? ) Thanks Moshe, and your fabulous crew! read more

Mike is an amazing business man, he takes customer service very seriously and only provides the best service! I had 3 projects, carpet to wood, replace glass slider, and installing a whole house fan. The flooring was completed in one day, removal and installation. Same with my slider, which has made all the difference in the world, my 8yr old can actually open the slider by herself now. My whole house fan was installed and it worked for a few hours then it stopped. I called Mike he had some one out there the very next morning! It was determined that it was under manufacturer warranty and it was replaced at no extra cost to me. If you are looking for a committed to excellence kind of construction company look no further. I found American Green Builder on yelp when I was searching for General Contractor and my experience with them was amazing! We remodeled our kitchen and our 2 bathrooms. Replacing the floors to hardwood. Added 500 square feet master bedroom addition in the back, upgraded the electric panel, installed tankless water heater and paint the interior and exterior house. The crews that worked here were very polite and really professional. The price was fair compared to others and Mike was just amazing with updating us along the entire process. I found America Green Builders after interviewing several other companies that could not do the exact job we wanted. It was a great decision to hire them. Their employees are steady and reliable, and were able to do accomplish the look and feel we were after. Our project was very large and included design work, lots of intricate masonry including tile work, pavers, walls, and stone as well as extensive irrigation, drainage to meet Encinitas's difficult standards, planting, lighting and everything else required to make our home truly spectacular. Exceptional service by America green builders. We decided to hire them after they were recommended by our good friends who remodeled their whole house. The project manager of the company came over, he was very nice, very knowledgeable and we felt good about him and the company.
