So, I'm not a big fan of writing bad reviews, so please know that when I do, it's warranted. I've been to this America's Best so many times. It's in my neighborhood, it's conveniently close, and more often than not, they get it right. Today wasn't one of those days. Pressed for time, I didn't feel like cooking and needed to get a meal for my Wife, who works overnight as a nurse. We decided to visit America's best, ordering three separate orders of food, totaled at $61. Midway through eating her 7 piece Honey Lemon Pepper Wings, my daughter noticed a piece of hair in the honey. To be honest, I gave my daughter my 5 piece and really didn't want to go back up to the America's best bc I was tired, and they were busy, and I didn't want to embarrass the establishment while they had a crowded house. But my Wife insisted a refund, so I obliged. I called first, and told them my issue. I was told that if I wanted a refund I would have to come back to the carry out so I did. When I got there, a female cook of Asian descent asked me to open the container to which I did. She said she couldn't see the hair, even though I pointed it out to her. She then asked the cashier if she could see the hair, to which she replied: Yes, but it's super small. As if that made it any less unsanitary. The cook then said, it must've come from you, and pointed to my 5 o'clock shadow for a beard! I was shocked & offended, for one bc I barely have a beard, that particular dish wasn't even my meal, and just the audacity to imply that I would do something as disgusting as placing hair in my food to get a refund. It was super insulting. Again, I'm at an age where I'm not going to be arguing with anyone publicly. Especially over a $14 meal. But I didn't inform her that I have much better things to do then be going back & forth about chicken. She then told me that I could not have a refund, but she would make me more food, which I told her earlier that the site of the hair turned my daughters stomach and she was no longer hungry. I accepted the replacement bc something is better than nothing & after a long work day, I just didn't have the energy to continue to fight, but man am I disappointed in the customer service, the lack of respect for regular patrons, and my overall experience. I'm sure it doesn't matter to them, but I will never visit this America's Best again, and it's not even because of the mistake bc mistakes happen. It's bc of how they made me feel. 0 stars. read more

They were juicy, round, and plump, just like America's Ass. Were they out of this world, like the Guardians? Nah, they were Earth's Mightiest Wings, at best. Well, America's mightiest, I guess. Got lemon pepper and Thai chili mixed, with a side of fries. Lemon pepper were pretty normal for lemon pepper wings, but enjoyable! Thai chili had all sorta flavor going on! Hot and sweet permeated the sauce, filling the crevasse that is my mouth, injecting it with flavor. The fries were crinkle cut, basic fries...but they were crispy an tasted great with some black pepper. This place isn't necessarily going to blow your mind, but for what it is, it certainly hits the spot! I'm always eating wings because they're a staple on Keto, and have been trying to find good wing places. I actually live in Baltimore now, but this place is in my old neighborhood in Odenton and I honestly regret not trying them when I lived there! Big pros are that they offer a ton of different flavors, dry and wet, and give you the options right up front to specify all flat or all drums. Cons are that they could probably stand to wipe down the tables inside more often - though I'm sure they focus more on carry out and delivery, so I can't really blame them. I went with 10 pc garlic parmesan wings and was expecting something a little more wet than what I got - though the flavor was still solid. The wings were nice and crispy on the outside (some of the drums were bordering on a little too crispy) but the chicken inside was moist and delicious. I also didn't have to wait very long - I always seem to have to wait forever when I go to the WingStop down the road. I am becoming very happy with all the new business we are getting in Odenton Md. This is in the Seven oaks shopping center as the Weis. I wanted to try out the wings and the catfish. I had the Fried catfish and it was good. I probably would try the the fish grilled next time. I ordered the wings sauce hot. Ok l'm not big on extra spicy food but that was not hot. More on the mild side but it still was a good sauce. Next time l would have to take it up a notch. I have only one issue ok maybe two. The cashier took my order and didn t specify that it only came with certain sides to not br charged additional. she should let you know that before you place your order. I was charged an additional fee. I also indicated that they apparently increased their rates because the carryout menu indicates something different than my receipt. She claimed they have been getting complaints about that and she would mention to her manager. I hope so because l told her that's false advertisement. They have indoor seating available or you could place your order to go. I did like that they had a nice flat screen tv you could watch while waiting on your food. Pretty good meal. I had the whiting fish dinner with an extra side of fried okra. Everything could use more seasoning!! The food was so bland. Everything was hot, but you can taste that the grease needed to be changed. Funny because in their window there's a sign posted about their oil usage. The inside of the place was clean and the customer service was very decent. I called in my order and the female was very polite. No idea why this place has two good reviews. We work in the same complex and have gone here for lunch takeout a few time. I have never been impressed with the quality, or the value to cost ratio but today took the cake. Three of us stopped by and when we entered were greeted by a very unfriendly and dismissive cashier. Frankly she looked irritated we came in. My colleague asked about the size of the boneless wings and after much explaining ordered those based on the description from the cashier. See the attached picture, but for $5.99 that looks like the dollar menu from McDonald's! My other colleague and I walked out before ordering due to the unfriendly greeting, so we were saved. While out running errands all day, I decided to have some chicken for lunch and this place came to mind, so I called ahead from my car to place my order. The staff member was very pleasant and helpful in answering all of my questions. I ordered honey lemon boneless strips with extra lemon pepper and ranch dipping sauce. I skipped the combo today. She verified my order and confirmed that I was calling the Odenton location which I can appreciate as My hubby has called our order into the wrong location before . She also told me it would be ready in 10 mins which was great as I was only about 10-15 mins away! I remember looking at the clock in the car while hanging up it had just changed to 12:59. I pulled up at 1:09. I walk in and there's some patrons eating and waiting in the small dining room but no one at the counter. The staff member immediately addresses me and I tell her my name for my call in order. She says it's coming up now, great!!!! I pay and sit down. As soon as I sit she calls me to the counter and opens my box for my review. It looks great!!! They were hot, crispy and seasoned with extra lemon pepper per my request. Papa John's sells 8 chicken wings for $16 when you can get a delicious 10 piece wing combo with fries and a drink for $12. Not to mention they're lemonade is immaculate. I do not want to sound hyperbolic, but these are the best wings I have had since leaving Connecticut 15 years ago. Just moved next door to this establishment and I had no idea what to expect on my first visit. It is a small little place in a strip mall, so it doesn't have all the pomp and circumstance of other restaurants. But, do not be fooled these wings are amazing. I had the Hot Teriyaki (a flavor that not many wing places have these days) and they were fantastic. Very convenient to have them right by the grocery store, I ordered and went to the store for a desert, food was ready when I walked back in. Best wing place in Odenton, MD! The seafood isn't too bad either! My favorite seafood is the catfish platter grilled catfish with either the garlic pepper or old bay seasoning. You can choose between hush puppies or fries for a side. For the wings I go with the traditional hot lemon pepper wings with fries.
