***Carry-out only*** Came to pick up the Tuesday Feast for Two special. I ordered and paid online and scheduled a pickup time before the lunch hour crowd. The ambiance was quiet as I went to pick up my order. I arrived and a pleasant attendant greeted me and got my order. They asked if I needed any cutlery and/or bbq sauce packs, which I got (Devil's Spit (my fave!) and Sweet & Sassy). The order was packed in a plastic large, round catering tray and placed in a bag. The feast included your choice of 1/2 of fried or country-roasted Iris' Chicken; 1/2 slab of St. Louis style or baby back ribs; choice of Texas beef brisket, Georgia chopped pork, or Hot Link sausage; and Famous fries, coleslaw, Wilbur beans, sweet mini corn on the cob (2), and corn bread muffins (2). Tip: There are no substitutions. This is really enough food for 3, maybe 4 folks. The chicken was fresh with a great seasoning. The ribs were good and had a nice smoky taste. The beef brisket is a my favorite: slices laid over Texas Toast. It was tender and good. The fries were still hot and fresh. The corn was good. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp. The Wilbur beans were slightly sweet and good and the cornbread muffins sweet and tender. They have other daily specials, but this is the one my family and I enjoy the most as you get to sample a nice variety of their items. All in all a great Tuesday deal that's worth the trip.

summary: a bbq chain restaurant that offers a solid meal, but nothing that would blow you out of the water. The moment you walk through the doors, you can kinda tell that you're in a chain establishment by the decor and the ambiance. (Not saying it's a bad thing, but it definitely has a look and feel to it). The service was ok. Nothing bad, but also nothing that made us feel like valued guests. On a positive note, Famous Dave's has tons of promotions throughout the week (different deals for different days of the week). So, I'd recommend taking a look before you go. The food was solid. There was good flavor and cook to the dishes. But at the same time, it did lack a certain level of home-y-ness to it that made me wonder about the quality and freshness of the food. Overall, no real complaints here. If you're looking for reliable flavor and good deals - especially for carry-out or catering, Famous Dave's might be a great fit for you.

Famous Dave's seems like a reliable chain with solid bbq and wings. We arrived late at our hotel and needed proteins so I ordered delivery: the burnt ends with bbq sauce and onion rings and came with some pickles. We also got chicken wings with extra buffalo sauce. An order of collards was tasty but needed more salt and portion is small. Like for bites small. Lastly, how could we not have French silk pie ?! Total cost for app, wings, side dish, dessert was about $52 total with tip included. It's not cheap for being a chain but the burnt ends sweet tangy sauce and fatty texture with the charred beef was quite delicious BBQ. Their pickles also deserve some praise because they were punchy and crisp offering the sour note needed for such dense food. The chicken wings were well cooked and buffalo sauce was standard. French silk pie via Bakers Square is epic and always will be epic. Overall, a good meal that's overpriced with fast delivery. If the burnt ends reflect their brisket, I'm sure it's tasty. Pretty decent for a chain!

Yesterday there was a "famous day" It was juicy and nice! Today I wanted try it... The appetizer was pretty delicious! But rib wasn't what I expect! It was little dry and not the rast to take meat from bone. . But the lady who look after us was nice!!! Her name was I-K or Iykeee... thank you!

Love this spot for bbq! They have an awesome open house event in the summer where you can meet Dave himself. I like their bbq sauce. It is smoky and sweet and absolutely perfect. The ribs that I had had meat fall off the bone and they were absolutely delicious. My kids loved the pulled pork.

Dave's Award-Winning Bread Pudding was delicious. Our waiter gave us two scoops of ice cream since there were two of us!

I had a gift card. Honestly, I did not expect to be impressed because I've been disappointed by Dave in the past. I and my date (my daughter) got the burger with bacon and pulled pork. That was one good burger! I'm looking for a reason to go back just to get that burger again.

7.25.23 I am finally able to eat solid food again after 2.5 weeks following a soft food diet. I remembered Famous Daves has Feast 2-sday's ($10 off on Feast for 2 on Tuesdays) so asked my hubby to take me here for dinner. The feast comes with corn muffins, corn on cob, coleslaw, baked beans, fries, ribs, and the choice of 2 select meats. We chose the roasted chicken and brisket. Our server forgot the corn muffin, but fortunately I remembered and requested them. Everything was good with the exception of the corn, which I thought was to soft and overcooked. My husband says he prefers Mission BBQ even though he thought the food was good. He says from a price point, you get more bang for your buck at Famous Dave's compared to Mission. We brought leftovers home and are to make an additional two meals for lunch with it. That averages out to $10 per meal. Given the cost of dining out at the moment, that's a really good deal.

My family and I went to Famous Dave's this weekend. We were seated quickly. Our waiter was very attentive, he replenished our drinks and checked on us regularly. It was busy, but didn't feel like it. It was a perfect evening for a nice dinner. The ambiance was fun and family oriented.

I haven't been to Famous Dave's in almost 15 years and this trip was well over due! This meal was incredible. Our server Jewel was amazing, she was helpful, fast, and very nice. The ribs were extremely tender and the drinks, were fantastic. The corn bread was the star of the show!

The service was great. The server, John, was very polite, hospitable, and extremely accommodating. He gets 5 stars. The place is pretty basic as expected for a bbq spot. The food was pretty mid. The ribs were great, the chicken was ok, and the sausage sucked. The price range is relatively reasonable, and they have specials each day plus a good happy hour.

The amount of foods you get is absurd! We order two specialty for 5 people and had tot take a lot of it home. The bill came to be $130 but really you can feed like 8-10 people. I wouldn't write home about any of the food but they were all good. The seating was easy and the service was great. I'd come back again when I'm in the mood for tons of Smokey bbq.

We were unable to get much attention from our server due to how busy the restaurant was, but the dishes were left mostly untouched for a reason. As I approached this business, I found the outside to be clean and the landscaping was pleasant. After entering, I was immediately faced with a bunch of kiosks for customers to place their orders. I just don't like kiosks. To me, this just shows me a business that is trying to reduce their customer service by not hiring cashiers and making the customer perform the cashier's job with no cost benefit to the customer. After placing my order, I was then questioned with how much I would like to tip. I found this to be even more annoying. What am I tipping for? The quality of the food?...I haven't eaten it yet. The quality of the service?...I haven't received any yet. Tipping BEFORE any experience is ridiculous and presumptuous. To me, tipping is a way for the customer to show that they are satisfied (or highly satisfied) with the experience they have had AFTER they have had it. I ended up ordering the double SmokeShack Burger, which comes with two beef patties, cheese, bacon, cherry peppers, and ShackSauce. The burger was really delicious, but I was surprised by how small it was for being a double. I also ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries, which are crinkle cut French fries topped with cheese sauce and bacon. This was pretty good too, but not as good as I thought it would be. For my drink I was going to get a soda-pop, but then I decided to try their Shack-Made Lemonade. It tasted weird, and I regretted getting it. I was served at my table by a server who delivered my food without saying a word. While eating my meal, I noticed that the inside of the restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. In fact, I did not see anyone cleaning anything inside during my entire visit. Even more disturbing was the lack of friendliness of the employees. I kid you not, there were about a dozen people working here during my visit and I did not see a single employee crack a smile...not for anyone. While leaving, I decided to order their Chocolate Blackout Pudding Shake. After getting back to my hotel with this for dessert, I only had a few spoonfuls. Again, this tasted weird. I ended up throwing out 90% of it because it just wasn't very tasty. In total, I spent over $33, which is a ridiculously high cost for one fast food meal. In comparison with my favorite fast food restaurant, In-N-Out (primarily in the western U.S.), I can get a similar meal at In-N-Out for about HALF the cost. I don't know about you, but if I pay substantially more I expect a substantially better experience. I hope that the other Shake Shack businesses don't operate like this one; This was NOT a worthwhile experience, especially considering the cost.

The duck fries as an appetizer were good but needed to be seasoned with a little more salt. I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! My two compadres both had the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They both looked at me sheepishly and said, you f ed up!!! William was kind enough to break off a substantial bite and let me try it. Angels sang, children wept, and I almost passed out! It was the kind of perfection we all agreed we would have eaten 5, maybe 6 of these unnaturally awesome sandwiches until we passed out! 3.5 Star service, 4 Star ambience, and some 10 Star bites! Cheers, JimG

The staff are nice, but service and the kitchen seemed a bit slow on a Sunday early afternoon towards the very end of brunch despite the area we were seated only had a few tables filled. The Crab Cake Eggs Benedict was nothing special - feeling like a flat, single-note dish.. Perhaps it was that the hollandaise sauce lacked the acidity (usually from lemon juice) to brighten the dish. Or, that the nod to Maryland - the Old Bay honey - drizzled around the edges of the dish wasn't enough to elevate it to something that is savored with each bite. The Fluffernutter Blondie is a good dessert choice if you love blondies and peanut butter. Although, it was a bit drier than I'd like, the texture was still soft.
