    Chicken and & Biscuits

Visited this spot for a family dinner, and it was okay. It was busy, and we added our name to the waitlist. However, there is nowhere to really stand and wait, so we had to wait outside in the freezing cold. The wait was also a lot longer than the estimate given that we almost left to go to another restaurant. Then once inside, it was so cold! There was only one area where the heater really warmed up the restaurant. You could tell everyone was just uncomfortably cold and wearing their coats and outside gear inside to try to stay warm. I got the chicken & biscuits as it was recommend by the server. However, it was so dry. It was hard to get through and eat. If I came back, I'd definitely get something else and wait until it was warm out.

Great location right on the marina. The vibe was great for a summer night to eat right outside. I liked how they used yelp to let you know your place in line. For a table of 2 we were told a 1 hour wait, but got in in about 40 minutes.

I was visiting with my college friends on Friday and we went to The Point for dinner. It was rainy so we couldn't sit outside, but the views looked great! Our waiter, Kenny, gave us some great recommendations of items to split. We went with 2 flatbreads: pear and prosciutto and bbq shrimp. The bbq shrimp one was my favorited loaded with my flavor. The pear one was lighter but still super fresh. We also got wings, crab dip, and friend pickles. The wings were crispy and juicy, and they had a great ranch on the side. I don't love fried pickles normally but these were thick cut and had a nice coating. Looking forward to going back when the weather is nicer!

Amazing crabcakes! Friendly service. Wonderful porch dining. Dog-friendly on the porch. Worth the drive from Rt. 301.

I love coming here. I made reservations online and live about 45 min away. As soon as we arrived, the table was ready. Our server was super sweet! You can't beat the view of the water, the music and even a good game if it is on. I love coming here. Crabs were pretty okay too. Highly recommend the mussels. Delicious!

Good service and ambiance. Food is excellent but was not as good as it was last time. Probably because the crabs are not in season, but it may have just been less than amazing crab dish. I came for my birthday. The point has traditionally been a 10/10 on crab cakes, usually the best in the world. This time the crab cakes were only 9.2/10, which for the money, you expect more. Jumbo lump crab dip needed more crab but had incredible taste. I will definitely give the point another shot. Traditionally the crab cakes are unbelievable and I will give it another chance. Cheers!

Had a great experience at The Point Crab House & Grill! Service was on point, food was fantastic, and the drinks were flowing . The atmosphere is perfect for Maryland Only heads up--if you're coming for the large or XL crabs, get here EARLY. We arrived around 3:00 on a Sunday and they were already sold out, so we had mediums. They were still delicious, but good to know for next time. Definitely worth the visit and will 100% be back (just earlier)!

Sweet spot at the marina for lunch. Came here in the middle of winter but bet it's a hoppin' place during the summer with all the outdoor seating. Food was hot and ample in serving size and tasted great. I'm more of a Pacific Northwest crab girl but anything with crab is good. Loved my crab soup. Waiter was attentive and more importantly, our visit with friends was perfect in this laid back atmosphere with a water view.

I visited with a group of 7 near opening and was seated right away. The menu had great options to choose from including our order of fish and chips, cheddar biscuits, chicken wings, chicken tenders, ahi tuna salad and other menu items that is slipping my mind. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed. The view of the dock was a nice addition when eating there. Pro tip: when parking in the lot, park to the right of the building bc that is where you enter. It is a shared lot with the marina. This place fills ups fast on the weekends #YelpMDburbs

Put your name on the waitlist online ahead of time! Wait was quoted 45 to an hour and was almost exactly 45 minutes, but we didn't mind waiting. I ordered the cod fish tacos and these were delicious! They are absolutely messy to eat, but they're very good. There was live music on a Wednesday which was cute. The server didn't come over much once we had our food, so the only thing I didn't love was how long it took to get the check and boxes. Otherwise, was super cute and delish!

Parking? We were on the wait list , arrived on time, yet there was no parking! It was our first time there, so I was really bummed. There was a place that looked like it was meant for a large boat they we could have parked, but didn't want to risk it

Parking can be tight as this restaurant is located at a marina. The earlier you can arrive, the better. Plan ahead and arrive early.

What are the prices for dozen large crabs?

$70 a dozen for large. They were very small in my opinion though. Jimmie size are $100 a dozen.

    Accessible by wheelchair?

    Yes

    Do they make pain killers?

No, they do not have all the liquor for a pain killer. BUT, they make other amazing drinks!

Our waitress was sweet, but seemed very much overwhelmed. I can understand, as they seemed genuinely understaffed for the quantity of patrons that they were serving. Ambiance is bustling, you have to squeeze pass people if you are navigating the restaurant or even heading to the bathroom LOL. Now, onto the food! The crab dip was juicy, succulent and delicious! Great crab ratio & also the bread was freshly baked! I ordered the seafood platter which came with coleslaw, fried fish, a crabcake, french fries & a fried lobster . Very flavorful and also everything was cooked to perfection! It was a nice medley! I enjoyed my meal and my time here. I do want to re-visit to try more items from the menu in the future. Cheers!

High prices and the quality, presentation and flavor do not match. Nothing had seasoning or true flavor besides the crab cake which was full with crab meat and had a decent profile. We ended up sending a few back due to them being empty and they also lack in flavor and tasted like they were just cooked in water. We asked for seasoning and that was the only flavor added. All and all, I wouldn't return for the food but for a drinks at the bar! The bartender was amazing!

If you walked in blind, you honestly wouldn't even guess they specialize in seafood -- that's how clean and fresh the environment felt. Major points for that alone. Now let's get into the food. I started with the cream of crab soup. The portion was solid and there were huge chunks of crab throughout, which I definitely appreciated. However, the base itself just wasn't to my liking. The crab was there, but the flavor profile didn't quite hit for me. For my entrée, I ordered the oyster platter with two sides -- regular fries and coleslaw -- and added a shrimp basket because when you're at a seafood spot, you might as well go all in. The meal definitely satisfied my hunger, but if I'm being honest, it tasted more boxed and frozen than freshly battered. That homemade, crispy, just-dropped-in-the-fryer feel wasn't quite there. On the bright side, the fries were good -- hot, crisp, and dependable. The coleslaw was exactly how I like it: balanced, not too sweet, not too heavy on the mayo. Where they truly shine is customer service. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very helpful throughout the visit. Service can make or break a dining experience, and they definitely delivered on that front. Overall, while this visit didn't completely wow me food-wise, the cleanliness and service alone are enough for me to give them another shot. I'll be back to try something different and will happily update my review. Stay tuned.

There is a two part type of deal, right in the front with all the seafood you can order fresh seafood steamed to order. Around the corner they sell various hot foods and sides as well as a couple of desserts. I tried menu items from both sides as I was curious about their cold side items. The fresh seafood is priced very reasonably and everything is super fresh, you can tell. They have a self serve station with condiments and all sorts of things you can add. I would recommend making your "sauce" before you get all your food for the smoothest eating process. They also offer a couple of alcoholic beverages and coke products. But honestly, we thought it became too expensive over the years (maybe I'm just getting old). With that said, I sat at the bar (service was excellent), and ordered the 16 ounce prime rib, $55, with a Caesar salad and sweet potato, and mozzarella cheese sticks to start (~$10). I ordered a tea to drink, but requested a beer (~$8)with the steak. Total bill was ~$80. The prime rib was ordered and delivered medium rare, and was by far one of the best steaks I've had in probably three years. It honestly could've been cut with just the fork, no knife required, and was well seasoned. The sweet potato mash was well seasoned, without being over seasoned. And the Caesar salad was super crisp, and I happen to like creamy Caesar dressing. The mozzarella cheese sticks look like they're hand dipped (not sure) and very good. And delivered with extra marinara per request. The bartender even remembered to pour the Sam's seasonal beer (winter something, it was not the typical winter lager which i like as well) when the steak was delivered. I did not have to ask. That was really nice. Also, I did not have to ask for a refill on the tea, it just magically appeared. Plus, the appetizer, the salad, and the steak, we're all delivered at the right timing intervals. I did not feel rushed, nor do I have to wait. So, was it expensive? Maybe a little bit. One kids' meal had a rare cheeseburger, then other was a grilled cheese with bread so stale that it was crumbly. Also, we didn't realize the kids' meals came with fries OR fruit, the menu was not quite clear. Regardless, I feel as though the server could have mentioned "the fruit will be extra" so I could have corrected my decision. There was absolutely no reason why I would EVER pay $15 for $3 worth of pineapple, especially for kids. The waitress was nice enough, I was just very annoyed about the fruit situation. She seemed to think it was intuitive and kinda shrugged when I told her about the confusion. With four kids, $15 for fruit is just insane. She brought cheesecake as an apology for the messed up kids' meals. But I would have rather not had the cheesecake and just gotten the fruit taken off the ticket. They didn't even eat it, as kids do. The restaurant was nice. It just looked a little run down. Like the floors were extremely dirty, they need a good cleaning. Despite being very busy, we were seated quickly-that was a pleasant surprise. In summary, be prepared to send food back to be cooked properly. And good Lord, make sure you don't accidentally order fruit, it's $5 for 10 small chunks of pineapple.

Service was good as I recall. Trivia was a lot of fun. We even got a free shot for the whole table for getting a specific question right or winning a round or something. Think it was like a lemon drop. The only issue was that the acoustics were bad for the trivia and was hard to hear the questions being read, so posed a bit more challenging as it was noisy. I'd go back here for trivia or otherwise. However, on a sad note, the very next morning I went to my office and to do some work travel that afternoon. My dad called at 9:15 AM breaking up about our family dog dying. I still did the work travel that afternoon but I was despondent and numb the rest of the day.
