This is extremely frustrating considering my pick up was for 1645 and they close at 1700. There are limited options here in Yuma but I would not recommend this location.

You would think a large corporation could hire competent IT guys. So the lesson is that tech is not reliable at Avis. Do not trust them. Use any other app.

My hopes were still high in finding a tow company but we needed to secure a rental to drive back home too. The only rental car company currently open was Hertz in Yuma and when I called, Gloria picked up. I very briefly told her about our situation and she was immediately empathetic and she just insisted she'd be there when I got there no matter what. We finally got a tow and headed to Yuma. When I got to Hertz at 10:20pm, Gloria was there ready with our car just as she promised and as she assured me the whole night that she would. She was so kind, personable and understanding-I swear I could have cried when I hopped into that rental. My heart is still so full and I still believe I witnessed a Christmas miracle then. It was such a stressful night and Gloria was just this bright light in it all. I know we were blessed, I know we got lucky, and I still shake my head thinking about it all and smile. The new owner Southwest is OK, but their charges are about 25% higher than another less expensive ride service company (taxi service) in Yuma that has been purchased by a new owner 2 years ago called A#1-2&3 Taxi service, which is now owned by Brian and his wife who rides with Brian everyday. Brian is a polite, older mature gentleman who treats everyone courteously. I do not know Brian's last name because I just met him a few months ago. I am retired and needed weekly ride service (taxi) for yuma city transportation to appointments and weekly shopping. Brian and his wife always arrive on time to pick me up and take me safely and calmly to my destinations. The best part is Brian's charges are always about 20% to 45% less expensive as the other ride services (taxis) in Yuma. Brian has saved me about $65.00 to $70.00 since I started using his ride services since the beginning of 2023. I like that.

I was having dental surgery done in the border town of Los Algodones. I told Vick when he dropped me off for my appt. that I wasn't sure when I would be done, though I guessed around 5:30 or 6:00. I said I would call him when I was ready to go. I didn't get out til about 7:30 and it was getting dark. I called Vick and he said he was waiting at the Port of Entry! I was so grateful and relieved! He didn't even wait for my call. He just made a point of being there! All I can say is his service goes above and beyond any other service in the area, Believe me, I had the chance to find that truth out personally. Two cab companies I tried were very late after they had promised they were 10 minutes away!
