All cars were completely restored salvage titles, saving thousands and thousands of dollars. We have never had even one problem with any of them. Not one!! I cannot say enough good things about Sam. It started off as a bad start, soon as i pulled out of the lot, the car ran into a misfire the next day. They were very chill with the situation and wanted to help. This place is an absolute joke. I am appalled and in disbelief. I came here and left with a bill of order and a pre-approval from the lender, which they were FULLY AWARE OF. Upon returning 2 days later (as soon as I received the check) I was told the car was sold. I laughed and truly thought this was a joke because how do you sell a car in which you already provided me with a BILL OF ORDER. His explanation was "there are 10 salesmen, I didn't sell it someone else did." So where are the records of the paperwork he provided me with?? Paperwork which has my name, the price, social, etc!! The employee stated he did not owe me an apology although he didn't bother at least calling me to tell me the car was sold to someone else. SO SO SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! After calling him out on it he said "that's how we do things around here." All I can do is laugh. Wow. Please stay away from this place. Do not waste your time and your hard-earned money. In the end, all worked out for the best because I wouldn't want to give a dime to this place. read more

Purchased a salvaged title 2014 Ford Fusion for $10,000 from Sam at American Auto Sales. We have had so many major issues with this vehicle that I can't list them all.....the paint on the hood was practically falling off in pieces it was chipping so badly; the entire front end was literally put together with zip ties and metal screws; after 5,000 miles we had to replace the transmission ($2,800) and entire A/C unit ($800). The car has so much movement while on the road it bounced the brand new A/C compressor around to the point that it literally tore apart ($1,000 to mount the engine and radiator properly); after getting new tires and an alignment the front tire rubs when turning; the seat belt mechanism that keeps the belt tight in a crash was never replaced ($500). Sam says there is an airbag installed however I seriously doubt that there is, given his track record with stating everything was repaired properly and NOTHING was. We took the car back to have him repaint it which he did and now the paint is fine, no chips, not sure why his first paint job was so horrible. When I let Sam know about the transmission issue, he stated "you can't keep coming back to me for every little thing wrong with the car". Excuse me?!?!?!? You sold me this car with the false statements that everything was fixed properly and that it was a "minor front end collision". This car was damaged almost all the way back to the passenger cabin! DO NOT BUY VEHICLES FROM THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT! read more
