    Short rib lasagna

Run don't walk. We popped in for a midweek date night and baaaaaby this place was everything. The setting was nice, they accommodated us at 9:20p, and staff was great. I believe Ryan took care of us. He was thorough and made sure we were well informed of what to expect as well as willing to accommodate request. We ordered the Negroni Blanco and Self Representation to drink. Both were delicious, but the Negroni was our favorite. We selected the Short Rib Lasagna and Branzino to eat. The lasagna was good, perfect portion, and not too heavy. The sauce was fresh and the noodles were well made. It didn't stand a chance! The Branzino was grilled to perfection. My only request was just a little salt to bring out the flavors more. It was topped with fresh herbs, veggies, capers, etc. He did bring me a house made chili oil that contributed to the heat I was seeking. So all in all no regrets would totally get it again. Oh did I mention he gave us an order of complimentary snap pea arancini balls. There was a lemon aioli and pancetta vinaigrette that was a perfect complement. I loved everything about the space. It was inviting, unique, and elegant. We peeped our heads in Lee's just to check it out. They were past last call so we didn't get to hang out over there. I most definitely will drop by soon. The bartender mentioned a steak night and other programming during the week. The vibe was right and we hopped in the photobooth to capture the memory of the night. Please show them some love during the week too. You will not be disappointed.

Went with the family and definitely enjoyed this place. Service and Ambience was 5 out of 5. Service was amazing and really cool place - upstairs and looks like an Italian Restaurant in NY or Hoboken, NJ. We had a good amount of food. For appetizers, we had Garlic bread and it was a unique twist and delicious. There was a pepper spread and chopped garlic. The bread was great by itself and even better with the garlic spread. My wife and daughter had the hearts of palm salas. I do not like hearts of palm, but they loved it! For dinner, we has the chicken picante (best dish if the night), chicken parm, lasagna and lumacha alla vodka. Lasagna was second best. Chicken parm and lumacha were OK. I had the parm, and the chicken itself was not hot, but the cheese and sauce on top was. Nothing special.

Milton's is one of the restaurant concepts from the Local Foods Group. It's located in the former Benjy's and reservations are recommended. We sat at a two top booth. It was a bit small as we had jackets and purses, but we managed. Our server was Kara and she was great. My friend read reviews prior to our visit so she was aware of the complimentary bread basket. The bread basket is by request only and is not on the menu. It was really good and I'm glad we ordered it! The bread is baked fresh daily and they only bake enough for the day. I started with the Chaplin Swizzle. It was sweet and bubbly. The drink was very pretty and had a gradient effect. I also tried the Turin Horse which was similar to a Negroni. It had a completely different flavor profile, but I really enjoyed it. For my entrée I had the Roast Chicken. It was so juicy and flavorful. The portion was large and I had plenty for leftovers. I also enjoyed the bed of greens that accompanied the chicken. For dessert, I had the Olive Oil Cake. It came with vanilla ice cream and it was really good! I'm not sure if the chocolate cake is still on the menu, but we were told that it's the same recipe from Benjy's. Great food and great service! I'm really happy I had the opportunity to dine at Milton's!

After getting back from our Dallas trip, my friend and I were craving something comforting--so pasta it was (her favorite). We ended up here and honestly, it did not disappoint. We ordered the scallop special, chicken parm, and the sourdough tagliatelle, and everything was so good. You can really taste the difference--everything felt fresh, like it was made from scratch with quality ingredients. Service was also a highlight. The staff were super welcoming, attentive, and just genuinely nice, which made the whole experience even better. The ambiance was really cute and cozy--perfect for a date night or even a chill small group hang. Overall, a solid spot if you're in the mood for good pasta and a comfortable vibe

Milton's is a great spot if you're looking for Italian cuisine. Beautiful indoor decor, great for a date night, specially occasion or event. Bar area is very nice and great customer service. As it was our first time there the server gave us a complimentary mushroom appetizer it had great flavor although it is not on the menu. What I ordered : Appetizer Tuna N'duja (very fresh not too much flavor or spice) Sourdough Tagliatelle (10/10) Ruby Royale (fresh not too sweet) Pinot Noir One thing to note is Milton's has a speakeasy connected inside called Lee's. This makes it an even more fun time out because you can start at Lees and then go eat at Milton's or vice versa. There is also a photobooth at Lee's!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in our rotation. The vibes are both cozy and upscale with nice lighting and comfortable chairs. The food is absolutely delicious. The sourdough pasta dish is so unique, and you can't go wrong with the eggplant or chicken parm. The waitstaff is also great, and check on you frequently enough without being overbearing. The perfect date night spot!

Absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I went to dinner here for his birthday on Thursday night and we were completely impressed. The restaurant is very nice and the music was at a comfortable volume. Our waiter was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the menu. We tried (and shared everything, large portions) the prosciutto and melon, arancini, asparagus, chicken parm & vodka pasta. Of course had to get tiramisu for dessert. The cocktails were spectacular. Everything was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be returning!

I think I owe Milton and an apology. Milton's was our backup restaurant on a busy Friday night, but it should've been our first choice. I'm sorry Milton. Having to walk up the steps into the restaurant and enter the art deco-esque atmosphere was a shocking and well received suprise upon entry. I have never been more impressed by a restaurants interior. And as a music lover, you could tell the playlist was personally curated to perfect the atmosphere. lover and I greatly appreciated this. The Ruby Royale cocktail was to our liking, as was the Arnold Palmer which was made with some kind of lemon soda. The bolognese was delicious with an abundant amount of bread crumbs that were to my liking. The chicken Parmesan was solid and well made. Not necessarily standout if I must point out however. I find chicken Parmesan to be only as good as it's sauce, and sauce there was little. Together with the polished luxe atmosphere, the service was outstanding and friendly. The friendly service leveled out the nerves of being in such a visually stunning environment.

Headed here for a birthday celebration and after we located the entrance and scaled the stairs, found a charming dining room with subtle lighting. Consider elsewhere if any of your party has mobility issues. The effort is worth it. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Answered questions and were quite knowledgeable about the menu. Started out with beef carpaccio and it was a lovely rendition that for my taste needed more caper presence and less of the flash fried greens but that's preference. Our mains were the hundred layer lasagna that rotates its composition with our version leaning deeply towards the traditional and the cresta de gallo which was rich and filling. They comped a birthday tiramisu which was huge and definitely after downing pasta, more than enough for two.

Brynn was awesome! She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and easily answered all of our questions about different items. She also made a great recommendation for a glass of red wine. The food portions were very generous for the price. We ordered the arancini, fried onions, bolognese, and chicken parmesan. Everything was delicious, and we left feeling full with plenty of leftovers to take home. As a bonus, Brynn and the manager were both rooting for the Knicks in Game 5 of the Finals, which made for some fun conversation throughout the evening. It was our first visit, and we really enjoyed the entire experience. We'll definitely be back!

Came here for dinner with friends and had an excellent experience! Our server Brian was super attentive and very pleasant. Definitely make a resy ahead of time because this place gets PACKED. Everything is made in house, and you can tell. The noodles were fantastic and the branzino... just yum! This place has great vibes, and they were nice to our little ones too. I'll definitely be back!

Milton's is a classy and cozy space above the rice village local foods spot. The TLDR: friendly service, delicious appetizers and salad, the pasta is fresh but could use a little more salt, and the tiramisu is dreamy and delicious. Faves: - Arancini: creamy little fried clouds of comfort. - Heart of Palm and the Charred Cabbage: both crisp and delicious, wedge has a nice char and loved the bread crumbs to add some texture to the party. The good but could be better - Sourdough Tagliatelle: nice light texture, a bit light on the truffle flavor. I guess my taste buds crave salt Rock Shrimp: not bad, light chili garlic flavor. - sourdough garlic knots: had a really delicious flavor, especially paired w the burrata. The texture was just kind of hard to chew. Soft on the inside but strangely tough/chewy on the outside and not in a crispy kind of way. It's still yummy tho but with the price I don't think I'd order it again. Tiramisu is a dream and a must get! Cocktails were pretty yummy. Overall would love to come back and try other dishes.

Milton's is hidden around the corner from Local Foods and they serve some great "Italian-American food" as the host explained. There are a few flights of stairs to get up to the restaurant, and the interior brings you back a couple of decades. A little moody, a little romantic-- it's refined enough to wear nice clothing but also welcoming enough to go in jeans. Service was friendly and our water glasses were constantly refilled. They start you off with an assortment of warm bread and olive oil. The pasta is made in house and cooked well so it's actually al dente. My favorites were the cresta di gallo pasta, frutti de mare, and charred cabbage, but we all enjoyed everything. :D I'll save room for dessert next time-- we will be back! Definitely check them out for some nicely cooked pasta :) ** Charred cabbage: roasted tender and comes with a scrumptious dilly crème fraiche. A little challenging to serve but we could have just asked for a knife to help separate the cabbage. ** Frutti de mare: nicely cooked (happy it's not fried!) and not rubbery at all. It tasted fresh and was a nice mix of octopus, squid, mussels, and shrimp with a hint of acidity. ** Roasted squash: butternut squash that was flavorful enough to appease the veggie hater and roasted tender. Not extremely unique, but it was a tasty appetizer~ ** Rock shrimp scampi pasta: fun lumache pasta shape, didn't have many shrimp pieces but was flavorful with prawn oil and butter. I actually thought it tasted like pizza (in a good way!)... it was my second favorite pasta of the night. ** Cresta di gallo: named after the rooster's crest, this pasta shape is so fun! Even though this didn't have meat, the mushroom umami flavor was so satisfying that one doesn't miss it. Creamy but also not too heavy with the Parmesan foam, this tasted a little like mushroom stroganoff. ** Bolognese rigatoni: a classic and done right. Good balance of meat sauce and pasta to let the pasta shine. The guys enjoyed this one. ** Branzino: This was recommended by our waitress, and it was pretty good. Lots of parsley and tastes herbaceous. It did taste slightly charred towards the collar. She warned us ahead of time that there were still bones near the collar and tail and again when the fish arrived to the table.

Pastas we ordered initially came out cold - our incredible waiter immediately corrected the issue. But from a flavor profile - Pansotti - sooooo delicious. You'd never guess that it was a vegetarian option - the mushrooms were so meaty. The delicate pouches with the spinach and ricotta were heavenly. Pappardelle - The lamb braised sauce had a depth of flavor that could rival any restaurant in Italy. My only tiny hope was that the pasta would have been served aldente, it was a little overcooked. But to each his own. Overall - really great. Would recommend. This would be great for a weeknight dinner or an off the beaten path date night.
