I heard mixed reviews on this establishment but I had to come myself and see. It's not in the best of locations but the food I had to try. During my visit I must say I had a pretty good experience. It does tend to get busy depending on the day, but the staff handled the rush really well and got orders out quickly and efficiently, which I definitely appreciated. I ordered the shrimp fried rice along with five regular wings and a peach drink that was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The fried rice was flavorful with a good portion of shrimp, and the wings were cooked just right with a nice crisp to them. The peach drink was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. Put it the freezer before lol drinking it iykyk. As for the ambience, it's pretty casual and straightforward nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable enough to enjoy your food without any issues. The food is great. My location on Scott is always packed. The orders come out fast and hot. The cashiers also open the order and let you add Cajun or lemon pepper seasoning. If you want more. A friend brought these wings over for a pregame and they were actually pretty good. We had spicy honey bbq and I believe a regular sauce. The wings were tender and a decent size. I will say the fries were wayyyyyyy too salty. I think he said he added lemon pepper and slap your mama sauce so maybe that's why but if not for the excess sodium it would've been much better. We also tried the peach drink and that was pretty good as well. Expect customer service to be.......flirting with average. For those not familiar with American Deli, the name is VERY misleading. Do not expect a sandwich shop with healthy options. Expect a fast food spot with great wings, fries, burgers, colored sugary beverages...basically lots of calories from yummy fried food! . I usually order a 10 wing combo with half hot and half lemon pepper. The hot sauce - imagine hot sauce with seasoning mixed in; the lemon pepper sauce - imagine a wet (versus a dry rub) tangy lemon pepper sauce. They keep seasonings and ketchup at the counter to add to your fries before you leave. I also had peach drink. It was good! But, again...just sugary, peach flavored drink.
