IMO, I like their wings better than Wings Stop and better than Hooters (yes! I said it!) Just like the locations in Atlanta...expect the wings/sauces to taste just like they do in Atlanta. Expect customer service to be.......flirting with average. For those not familiar with American Deli, the name is VERY misleading. Do not expect a sandwich shop with healthy options. Expect a fast food spot with great wings, fries, burgers, colored sugary beverages...basically lots of calories from yummy fried food! . I usually order a 10 wing combo with half hot and half lemon pepper. The hot sauce - imagine hot sauce with seasoning mixed in; the lemon pepper sauce - imagine a wet (versus a dry rub) tangy lemon pepper sauce. They keep seasonings and ketchup at the counter to add to your fries before you leave. I also had peach drink. It was good! But, again...just sugary, peach flavored drink. The guy at the counter was completely unfriendly...which is consistent with the ADs in Atlanta. I actually tried to engage him in friendly conversation by saying, "smile". The food is great. My location on Scott is always packed. The orders come out fast and hot. The cashiers also open the order and let you add Cajun or lemon pepper seasoning. If you want more. A friend brought these wings over for a pregame and they were actually pretty good. We had spicy honey bbq and I believe a regular sauce. The wings were tender and a decent size. I will say the fries were wayyyyyyy too salty. I think he said he added lemon pepper and slap your mama sauce so maybe that's why but if not for the excess sodium it would've been much better. Whenever I order a 15 piece wing combo I always get 3 flavors. Sometimes they charge me extra sometimes they don't but they never refuse to let me get 3 flavors. Well the OST location did just that, they refused to let me place an order for a 15 piece wing combo with 3 flavors. I would sincerely like to know why you would refuse to honor this request for a customer? Customer service is very important and refusing to honor a reasonable request is poor customer service.
