This was honestly one of the worst food experiences I've had. The wings were completely unacceptable when I bit into them, the inside was still pink and had a strange, foul smell. It immediately turned my stomach. Chicken should never look or smell like that, and it was honestly shocking that it was served to customers. They are fried crispy and they put the perfect amount of seasoning on them. Another reason i come here is for the customer service. Everyone is friendly and they greet you when you come into the door and they don't charge you for sauces and extras. The restaurant is located next to a floral shop in the shopping center behind checkers. They have a pretty big menu. But I know for sure that you cannot go wrong with the wings. They are also pretty fast so you do not have to wait for a long time for your order. You can also call in your order if you don't want to wait. This American Deli is by far the most spacious and cleaner than most. The employees at this location are friendly and many of them speak English which is great for placing orders ahead over the phone. I came in on a Wed around 5... not as busy as it usually is. The cashier provided exceptional customer service and always made sure I had everything I needed, whether it was a cup carrier or getting my order correct. I truly give this place 5 stars which is rare for an American Deli, but this location really deserves it. American Deli has been my wife's go to place for wings forever. We decided to go and have dinner there this evening. I ordered hot wings, extra wet with fries and a drink. She ordered mild wings, fries and a drink. She orders mild wings because she can not take spicy wings do to her ulcer. Our number was called and we got our food and started to eat. She tried one wing and she had this strange look on her face. Her cheeks were red. I am eating my wings because they are good and spicy. Just how I like them. I look at her food and I say to her " Your wings look like my wings." They were so dark and wet. At this point I wanted to taste her sauce because her nose is running. That has never happened before when she gets mild wings. Low and behold, when I taste her sauce, I realize that they gave her the hot sauce instead of the mild. She takes the food back to cashier to let them know that they have given her the wrong sauce. She has only eaten two wings. The manager comes up and tells her that this is not right. That she has eaten two wings. She says Sir, how else am I going to know if you gave me the right sauce? She says I had to taste it in order to know if the sauce is wrong or not. It was an argument. All she wanted was the wings that she ordered with the mild sauce. It was not her mess up. It was just sad to see that he was making it seem like she was trying to get over on ihim in some way. That clearly was not the case. So he did not fix the order. She ended up using the napkins to get all of that hot sauce off of her wings. Which you will see in the photos below. She has eaten at this place forever, but I guess even forever comes to an end. We will not be returning to place..EVER.. Peolple need to learn customer service. It was not like we took the food out of the restaurant, ate half the food an brought it back to get some more wings or a refund. We sit in this establishment and eat , just as we did today.
