Short: Ordered furniture at end of December 2020- now being…read moretold August 24, 2021. 8 MONTHS waiting on furniture. Details: Ordered a sectional a the end of December. We were told by the Macy's sales associate that it would be a while before it arrived- maybe April or May. Received an email in February from Macy's stating they would let me know when my furniture was in the warehouse. Seems like all is moving along & would arrive about April/May...the same time we were told by the Macy's associate at time of order because expected delivery times is often a deciding factor when people are purchasing furniture. At the end of April- I decided to check in on my order and was told the order was now expected at the end of August. Eight months waiting on furniture!? We expected a delay of about 3 maybe even 4 months due to COVID, but after being told April/May and then doubling the wait time without a word is BAD BUSINESS. Was sooo happy to find a sectional big enough for our family & within budget, however, this ordeal is Definitely leaving a very bad taste for Macy's. In fact- after we get our furniture, hopefully in August- this will be the last thing we ever buy here (if they don't go out of business first). Especially after being told we lose the deposit if we cancel our order. If we find a couch we like that's deliverable before August, it will be worth the loss or small claims court (I got time) or the CC bank will eat it, and Macy's can stick the couch you know where. It will be in stock for the next sucker. More informative updates and more accurate estimations of delivery time from sales associates on our furniture would've avoided this. We ordered this based on an April/May delivery- NOT August.

However, I believe that has all changed. My last few experiences during and not during the holiday season, have been delightful. Whether I have had a return or a purchase, I have been able to get in and get out. I believe the self check out has truly helped Get the lines through efficiently. I'm not a big fan of self checkouts however these work for Kohl's.

Got to self check out that only takes credit cards. It said declined on card which made no sense. I tried again and it kept showing waiting on approval ....for about 5 min till I pulled card out. Not one employee in sight. After over 10 min. I Walked around to the one single register with a cashier to ask if it will finally clear out on my credit card and she said it would. I asked if I she could just check out my 1 item with cash. she said I would but I have to go around and wait in back of line. I expressed that I had already been waiting and some lady who was checking out the whole time at self check in another area, loudly told me "if you want to be checked out you have to go get in back of line". I decided to try self again on different register and card. Same thing. Same lady kept loudly & rudely telling me how to do it & that I didn't do it like she told me. I told her that I don't work there so why is she being so rude. She said I was the rude one & she is off the clock & that I should be glad I was getting free help. I wasn't aware that I was suppose to pay for service to check myself out. She said everything so loud & with such a condescending tone that I was very embarrassed. On the clock or off, employees should be respectable to the customers. I have had to self check at most stores. There's usually an assistant in the area to assist in any problems as needed. In fact I used the same card at Hobby Lobby self check 30 min later, no problem. My purchase of a $9.99 baby rattler experience at this store was not good. Other items I had planned to purchase off my Great Grandbabys "Baby List" such as the monitor camera, stroller, etc. will be purchased elsewhere. As far as the off duty condescending woman, it looked like she needs some training in customer service.

My mom and I went here on a Wednesday morning, and there were just a few other customers in the store. We were instantly greeted by a friendly employee. They had some great sales going on, so my mom and I started grabbing lots of things for me to try on. One of the employees noticed our arms getting full and offered to start a fitting room for me. She asked my name, and by the time I was ready to start trying everything on, my room was labeled and waiting for me. I grabbed a TON of clothes to try on, and I don't think I've ever had so much success in one shopping trip. I feel like usually I ended up not loving a majority of the things I try on, but everything looked SO cute! I couldn't believe it! The clothing items are high quality, and you can actually feel that they'll hold up for a long time. My mom and I were shopping in the store for hours, and time flew by. I ended up walking out of there with over 10 new clothing items, and let's just say the savings stacked up big time. The young lady who checked us out was unbelievably sweet and personable. I wish I knew her name so I could compliment her directly! If you're a teacher in search of some new clothes, Loft is the place for you. Make sure to get the teacher discount, too!

I gave them 3 stars because I don't like the clothes and only visit during boot season. The service has been fine when I visited, no complaints there. Online purchases can only be returned online I discovered. Didn't get assistance from anyone while perusing dresses. Even when going into the dressing rooms We got a cute dress that fit her well (she's a little petite thing) that cost about $80. Didn't think it was worth that price but, it fit her well and fit what we needed in a pinch.

They pulled up a box and rang it up for 110.00 plus tax. I opened it the next day and sprayed a small amount and knew immediately this isn't what I have been wearing for over 20 years. It had a rotten smell to it. It is so nasty, I don't know what to do as I can't wear this cologne. I've wasted all this money. It's depressing! Also, the same day, I went to the Calvin Klein underwear section and every pair of underwear was 40% off. Actually they had raised the price and then put the 40% off. Anyway I found a box my size and took it to pay for it and the man told me those aren't on sale just selected styles. I told him all CK's are on sale and he went over and started looking around like he's confused doing drama at the underwear rack. He stated "he would override and give it to me for sale price." What a joke. The last three time I have been in that store, I was the only customer in the place. Something needs to change period.

I decided to return it at the store so I could try on the smaller size. I've been to this shop a few times and was surprised I haven't done a review. This is a lovely store and everyone who has helped me has always been very nice. They have a good selection of petites and if they don't have your size they will help you order it. J Jill is high quality, beautifully made clothes. The fabrics are always soft and lovely with delicate pretty prints. I ended up getting a totally different outfit then I returned and they made it effortless and a wonderful experience. Love J Jill and especially this store!
