The Rv Park doesn't inform you about no refund for early departure They just keep the money plus the road is Very scary and bumpy road and narrow Hwy 139 About 30 miles across the Hwy 139 Instead take A 1 out of Susanville on Hwy. 36 If you plan to stay not as narrow or Scary. The staff was polite The owner is not very nice on the phone told me he had the right to keep my whole amount of $ 610.00 dollars because when you check in You agree to the rules with out even knowing it . I was not aware of this at the time I will never stay here again It's is all about the money to this business,all the staff act like it was our fault for having to move 3 times My husband was an professional truck driver for over 20 years So he knows how to park a trailer The staff has no concept of the size Of an large travel trailer. I love the sand garden for kids to play with in the front. Theres also horseshoe and tether all. The beer garden looks beautiful as well. Sadly we did not get to enjoy some of these perks as our schedule was a little packed. Next time I hope we can try it out. The walking paths of different colors was a fun treat for my kids. They kept wanting to find the art pieces all around. We did the purple, pink, turquoise, yellow and rainbow trail. Next time I'd like to venture to the other side and try out red and finish yellow. The viewpoints/lookout area is magical as well. The places we wanted to visit this trip were all around 30 min to an hour away from the park. Not bad but not too close. That's the price you pay to be in an area surrounded by the woods and beautiful blue skies. Every camper was friendly and waved as you walked. If you have not been here and are undecided just do it! It will be a truly wonderful experience. I think I'd like to go back when my kids are older. I'd prefer to get the chance to read next to the fire here. We had three RVs parked here, and every site was immaculate. All of the other residents were very helpful and very friendly. The Vagabond made us feel like we were at home, and we will return as much as we can. Our group had spots 19 (35 foot RV, see pic), 18 (18 foot toy hauler), and 18 "A" (24 foot travel trailer). These are the absolute closest spots you can reserve to the water. Spots 18 and 19 had full hookups (30amp power, water, sewer, and cable), while 18 "A" is not typically used and it had only 15amp power and water. But, spot 18 "A" was literally waterside.

I've seen more trees fall inside this park then I've seen in my grandfather's two lots inside the country club at Lake Almanor I'm extremely concerned with the business owner and their son who refuses to follow up with damage of trees that fall inside the park. They take no responsibility of your equipment at least they have not done for us in the last four years, violating your constitutional civil rights and the ADA laws with the developmental disability adults, violating your constitutional rights to raise your child or adult with peace using cops as tools and manipulators. Be careful, weeks later and the damage is just sitting there no follow up no communication on what they're gonna do about it. I have communicated with the manager. She is well aware of it. She has took pictures, but the owner has and this son is refusing to do anything about it. Be careful. The manager is wonderful to say the least she is awesome but who she is working for is extremely questionable and she can't do anything about it.

(His girlfriend was standing there the whole time) he even added random charges to our bill. A random 500$ charge, a random 250$ charge. I've heard this wasn't the first time. A friend in the trailer park even told me that his power bill was 200$ a month. A friend who lives alone, who turns everything off everyday before leaving. He is gone more than most the day at work. And still gets big power bill chargers.

Needless to say, not ideal if your intent was watching the meteor shower. For an added bonus, the maintenance guys moved a picnic table against our RV door and left it there, trapping us inside! If you just need a place to park overnight and plan on staying there, be sure to pack some bug spray. There was a higher concentration of mosquitoes than I've ever encountered anywhere else in all of my travels. They were large too. If you were so inclined you could probably saddle them for an aerial view of the property.

After trying to communicate the wrong doings of the park it was obvious that the woman that runs the office reservation desk was more than enthusiastic to just be down right rude and nasty. After making reservations a full year and advance, the park decided to change all of the rules and the cost! Do not give these people a credit card! Our stay went from being a 4 night stay to a required 7 night stay and the charge of a "golf' package without authorization! The only thing this woman would do to attempt to accommodate us was to offer that we pack up our entire set up and move to another spot for a night. Even though nobody would be using the spot that we were in, in which we reserved a year ago! End result, we packed up and left a day early. She actually had the nerve, when I was alone to tell me that I could scream, holler and throw myself on the ground and it would not change anything, she was bound and determined to screw us because we spoke up in front of others in our large group! She would not give us the name of the manager or the owners and said we would not be able to contact them. Look at the other "Yelp" reviews and take them to heart! She will make your stay miserable if she can! What a true loss for this park. I hope they get a clue at some point! Another customer lost! We also liked the open areas for volleyball, badminton, soccer, and other family activities. A few improvements would make this an even better stay. The electrical pedestals are older, so I'd recommend bringing a surge protector. The sewer hookup at our site sat well above ground, making it difficult to properly drain our tanks. The small trash cans and some of the older yard décor also made the park feel a bit dated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return because of the convenient location and spacious sites.
