We enjoyed 6 nights in this quiet shady campground. The entire grounds are tidy and scenic with oaks and tiny wildflowers (at least in early June). The owners were very helpful getting us registered for exactly our needs and made us feel so welcome on our arrival. The bathrooms including shower were super clean and comfortable. The many trails in the large campground were a pleasant surprise and were great for tiring out out travel weary dogs. The hookups were easy to access and well marked.We also didn't even need to get out our leveling blocks. We will definitely be back. read more

This is an unbelievably friendly, caring and beautiful RV resort. The sites are very spacious. We reserved a pull through with the view of some of the hiking paths in the background. I love the sand garden for kids to play with in the front. Theres also horseshoe and tether all. The beer garden looks beautiful as well. Sadly we did not get to enjoy some of these perks as our schedule was a little packed. Next time I hope we can try it out. The walking paths of different colors was a fun treat for my kids. They kept wanting to find the art pieces all around. We did the purple, pink, turquoise, yellow and rainbow trail. Next time I'd like to venture to the other side and try out red and finish yellow. The viewpoints/lookout area is magical as well. The places we wanted to visit this trip were all around 30 min to an hour away from the park. Not bad but not too close. That's the price you pay to be in an area surrounded by the woods and beautiful blue skies. Every camper was friendly and waved as you walked. If you have not been here and are undecided just do it! It will be a truly wonderful experience. I think I'd like to go back when my kids are older. I'd prefer to get the chance to read next to the fire here. What a gem! Highly recommend this campground. The sites are very large and access for back in or pull-through spots are well placed and very well thought out. Owner was very nice and the grounds are extremely clean. My family and I will be back to this oasis in the mountains. Recommend hiking the rainbow trail to the west end of the property just before sunset. You will find a private table and a view that you will never forget. read more

Awesomeness. This is our newest favorite campground. Oak woodland. Swimming pool. Many hiking trails. Volleyball court. I was a little suspicious of the advertising claiming their "packed gravel" RV pads were level. But when I backed in and checked my gauges, it was spot on! Only twice in my camping career have I not had to level my rig. This was number two. (Site 34) The staff is friendly, attentive, helpful and courteous. Wi-Fi is free, and can be upgraded to "streaming level" for a few bucks a day. Camp showers are free, and the facilities are clean. But best of all?? The campsites are the biggest, most generously proportioned I have yet seen, many with no close by neighbors, they have sixty five acres, and could cram in hundreds more sites, but the owners choose to give privacy and space the priority. Beautiful, tranquil, and artsy RV park on the border of Lassen and Shasta counties. I came for an extended stay and was able to work remotely, take my dog on the many trails (68 acre property), go on excursions, and enjoy peace and quiet. Ben and Danelle take pride in the campground and have a pretty cool vision around art and nature. This is a welcoming and safe environment. #rainbows Amenities and nearby services: There is a market where you can get most groceries, post office, and gas station about 15 minutes away. 35 minutes to a Safeway. Laundry facilities on site ($1.50). Buy ice and various RV/camping accessories in the main office. Hookups are straightforward, no electricity miswiring. Bathrooms are clean, inviting, and well lit. Spacious and near level dirt and gravel sites - you won't feel crammed in or like you're in a parking lot. The wifi is awesome. I was in site 2, close to the main building, and I paid for premium service ($25/mo.). I could do Zoom calls, stream movies, etc. In the summer, a gifted massage therapist comes by for on-site massages. You can go into town during off-season. It's worth it, I promise. Dog friendly (on leash). Remember, this is the wild (I hear coyotes at night) and you'll want to keep your furry kiddos nearby. Recommendations: Watch a sunset over the valley - stunning views when the air quality is good. Catch the trail near the badminton nets. Walk or bike the game trails and search for art in the forest. Go to Burney Falls (about 40 min drive). Pick up fresh eggs, produce, and jam at the local farm stand. Get a massage from Chris. I recommend this campground for families, solo travelers, long term and short term. read more

This is an extraordinary RV Resort run by extraordinary people. It is spacious, so that you're not on top of your neighbors. It has full facilities, both at each site and in the public spaces. It is fun, with uplifting art and messages on its multiple trails around the 60+ acre property. The emphasis on inclusiveness also resonated deeply with me. In sum, it's the best place we have encountered so far on this long journey, and I don't expect to find better. We'll be back, and likely for a longer stay than we had this time. There's so much to explore in this region -- we only scratched the surface! read more

Had a great 5 day stay. Very quiet, great services (hook ups), water is great to drink. Large sites, we'll spaced. Clean bathrooms and showers. Great owners. Lots to see in the area, just plan on doing a lot of driving to get anywhere. Great night skies lots of stars as it's really dark at night read more

This is definitely a hidden gem! The reason for the 4 stars is the lack of shade at the camp sites which is uncontrollable. Well kept grounds and the bathroom/showers are clean since most people are in their rv and trailers. The sites are well spaced apart also. We loved the pool and definitely enjoyed it everyday during this heat wave. I would recommend doing the Rainbow trail for the sunset. We rode our bikes on another trail but couldn't remember the name. The paths are dusty. Bring lots of bug spray. read more

Huge spacious resort! Stopped by here twice. First time was on our road trip visiting national parks. We stopped here after visiting Lassen National Park. We normally don't stay in RV parks since we do tent camping, however all of the sites were very spacious so our tent was not right next to an RV. The bathrooms were extremely clean-you don't normally see bathrooms like these at a campground! No light pollution around-so perfect area to star gaze. Speaking of no light pollution...about a 20 min drive to town. They have some snacks and supplies to buy in the office, but if you have to drive into town, it's not right down the street. The owners were very friendly and personable. We told them about our trip to Lassen and that we were on our way up to Crater lake next. They mentioned Burney falls that wasn't on our list, so figured our next trip through here we would check it out. This second time around it was a little busier, more kids in the pool, and now they had their restaurant open. It's only open for dinner Sunday and Monday, but the menu did look reasonable and delicious. If you like the outdoors and nature, this is the spot for you. This was such a restful space. Site was easy to pull-thru with plenty of room to park the truck. We have a big rig with 3 slides. Lots of room. Lassen RV Resort is hands down the nicest RV park in the Burney/Fall River area. Driving in, you'll get a stunning panoramic view of Mt. Lassen, Mt. Shasta and the Fall River Valley. The park is tucked away, far from the highway, so it's nice and quiet. At night you might hear coyotes yipping in the distance. The grounds are well maintained and the park is full of beautiful oak trees. The pool is an nice treat on a hot day. The owners, Ben and Danelle, are a friendly and family-oriented couple that will make you feel welcome and at home during your stay. This place is an absolute gem! read more

Great place! We stayed for 4 night with our toddler and got to really experience the area: Lassen, McCloud falls, Burnley falls, Shasta. The staff are very friendly and there is incredible attention to sanitary matters pertaining to COVID, including individual pool reservations and outdoor check-ins. In addition, we loved the flags throughout the property signaling an inclusive culture. We look forward to a return visit. read more

Simply awesome! This place was exactly what we were looking for! For starters, the host was super friendly and accommodating. He escorted us to our site in a golf cart, which was great. Our space. #22 was perfect and spacious. The whole resort is very well maintained, large RV and tent camping spaces and even awesome pull through for groups. In the park, there is a sweet pool, super clean bathrooms, and an office with some supplies and food items, should you need it. They had awesome local ground beef we purchased and a DVD library you could rent movies teo at a time, for no charge :) My only suggestion would be to have the pool open longer than from 12-7 and the bistro open more days than just Sunday. We were looking forward to eating there, maybe next time! In the area- DO NOT miss the Fort Crook museum- amazing amazing historical items up close and personal. We had a great lunch at the Fall River Mills hotel :) cool area, very peaceful overall. read more

This place saved us as the night time (and some weariness) set in. Despite the late hour (and no reservation) Phil walked us out to our completely level site, where we plugged in and within an hour fell deeply asleep to the sound of...nothing :) Next morning we observed the bathrooms to be immaculate and nicely maintained. Good hot water pressure. A great stopover for us and even though we were up and on our way, the swimming pool looked tempting. If we pass this way again, we'd be happy repeat customers. read more

What an absolute gem and furthest from my idea of what an RV Park would be like.... it really is a beautiful, clean, and amazingly well maintained Resort with top of the line everything! Grounds are stunning, Phil and Jasmin are a delight and truly wonderful people with great communication and kindness. No detail was overlooked for a magical stay! This was our 1st RV trip and although we had some Hiccups and issues that could have made this a scene out of the movie RV, but b/c of Phil and Jasmin it actually turned out to be one of the BEST family vacations we've ever had. Oh, and the park layout, design, finishes are all so very well thought out and very cool looking too. So quite too! Coverage is alright with Verizon but depending on your spot you may or may not have coverage at all. read more

Perfect beautiful shady roomy friendly spot to park our trailer. We stayed 3 nights. When making the reservation, Ben's service was wonderful. He was extremely accommodating and was always available and responded promptly to any questions. This is opposite of my experiences at other parks if I leave a message for an appointment, I would not hear back a day or two later if not at all. The immediate surrounding land is beautiful with cow pastures. This RV park is nestled in the trees and each spot has tons of space for parked cars, fire pit etc. Heck, Even I may be able to successfully park the RV at this place without too much damage! This picture was taken in the morning, but as the sun moves, there was plenty of shade coverage on our huge spot of land. We came a couple days before the Fall River Century bike ride to enjoy the beautiful area, including Burney Falls (which is never overrated!) In the past, we usually parked our trailer at the fairgrounds (closer to the bike ride), but for an extra 10-15 minute drive, this place is soooo much nicer! Nothing wrong with the fair grounds, but it's like comparing a sun exposed parking lot to a beautiful cove of trees with wonderful amenities. It's defiantly a room with a view! A beautiful place! The spots are fairly large sized. I do a large family Memorial Day campout, and the group site was one of the better ones we've stayed at, large enough and private enough where you don't bother anyone else! Everyone was really happy with everything. The only downfalls were that the water pressure was a bit low, and the WiFi doesn't work past the store area. It's beautiful and peaceful, and you can see so much in the area, so many trails! You can see Mt Shasta from the entrance to the park on a clear day. read more

We very much enjoyed our stay at this park. We loved the huge pull through sites, the great natural landscaping that gave privacy between sites. There were numerous fun trails throughout the acreage around the park. We were also able to see Mount Shasta from a clearing in the trails. I had such high hopes for Lassen RV! After reading it's great reviews I reworked our original plans so we could visit. At first glance this appears to be my kinda place. Sitting outside the first evening I was formulating 2 future weeklong visits wherein I would be accompanied by relatives that are RV'ers. The next morning we walked up by the pool. Then I saw what they had posted on the fence enclosing the area. What a huge disappointment. I'd suggest you call & inquire about these before booking a reservation. We will not return. read more

This place is fantastic!!!! Ben greeted us on the first day! So kind, helpful and accommodating to our needs. The site was beautifully situated toward the back of the resort. Has a fire ring and picnic table provided. This is a full hookup site. We shared the space with two other couples and children not close enough for it to feel imposing at all. Super kind people, made friends for a lifetime! The resort is pet friendly just keep your fur friends on leashes! There are hiking trails throughout the resort, cows and horses near the front of the resort on another plot of land if you want to entertain the kids. There is a nice laundry facility it is very clean and even hand sanitizer provided at every machine. $1.75 to wash and $1.75 to dry. Very clean bathrooms. It was such a pleasant stay we decided to stay another night and we were accommodated. I had to work and requested to work closer to the office for better WiFi connection. Ben set up a table near the office on the community patio and even brought me hot water for the cup of tea I had! Danelle came by to make sure I was comfortable. It just feels like home here! I would recommend this RV resort for sure! Also there is a beautiful waterfall we went too it was Burney Falls a short 30 minute drive. As a side note the WiFi connection doesn't work well on the sites further from the office building. So if you need a WiFi connection make sure to get closer to the office. read more

Newly reopened back in February under new management, the campground is one of the cleanest and well kept campgrounds my family and I have been to. The owners were extremely nice and wanted to make sure we had a great time. The Newley renovated bathroom was extremely nice and consistently clean, and the sites themselves were very roomy, and had plenty of room to run around. The last part I love about this site was the amazing views of the surrounding mountain views, from Shasta to the surrounding region. Overall 5/5. read more

We stayed at LASSEN RV RESORT this past week with a group of Airstreamers and had a blast. Very clean, well managed facility. Jasmine and Phil are excellent hosts/owners. We stayed at Lassen RV Resort this past week and absolutely loved the place! If you are a cyclist ride your bike to the entrance and turn right. Miles of beautiful cycling with very little traffic. Nice pool. We had an excellent site and it was the quietest RV park we have ever stayed. The sites are spacious. The host was very helpful and a genuinely gracious man (I forgot to get his name). Nice secluded spot with very well kept grounds and huge spots. Stayed for a week just relaxing.

The day that we were to arrive, we got so tired and late getting ready, that we had to delay our visit for one day; Lassen RV Resort had no problem with that and we did not get charged for the day that we missed. The next day we arrived after normal hours--no problem. The staff are very friendly; they even loaned me an electrical adapter that I forgot to bring. The park is a bit remote from McArthur, but we could ride our bikes on the road next to the park without traffic worry. The rv park is spacious with lots of trees. There were only about 10 rvs (in a place which could accomodate 44). Our grandchildren had their bikes, but riding on the volcanic gravel in the park was not easy, as would be the case with an asphalt road. Our grandchildren loved the pool, but there weren't children their ages (6 & 8) to play with until the last full day. I would definitely visit them again. read more
