We didn't plan on staying long but my daughter loves it and has made some really good friends along the way. My son has now also joined the party and both kiddos love their coaches. They are learning life skills to protect themselves. We've referred quite a few friends and all that have joined have said their kiddos love it. I like how I am able to cater my schedule based on my kiddos other extracurricular activities unlike other places that have limited schedules. The flexibility for me as a parent is a number one factor on where I take my kids. If you are interested in having your kiddos learn self defense skills go give Gracie's a try. Head instructor Jason Mills with instructors Bernard and Hailey bring their highly certified jujitsu skills to the mat teaching adults and children. Their facility has the same floor and wall mats in Torrance. This facility is clean and they have a professional staff. I never authorized any renewal, yet the charges kept appearing. When I called to explain the situation and try to resolve it, the staff was extremely unprofessional and actually hung up on me while I was trying to explain what was happening. Instead of helping fix the issue, they avoided the conversation completely. Because the unauthorized charges continued and I couldn't get any proper assistance, I was forced to block my accounts just to stop them from taking more money. This kind of billing practice and customer service is unacceptable. No customer should have to deal with unauthorized renewals, ignored concerns, and being hung up on when trying to resolve a billing problem. I strongly recommend that anyone considering signing up read the contract very carefully and keep a close eye on their billing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business.
