Have worked with some sketchy alarm dealers in the past and this company was very different (in a good way) from others. First, calling to get system setup was more of a "what are you looking for?" type of approach, instead of "you need to upgrade to this or the whole thing is pointless" The installer, David, was professional, on time, and knowledgeable. You only get 3 stars because the installer really pushed the ring doorbell on us not informing me that after 30 days I have to pay for the cloud storage. This review has been a long time coming, so I'm happy to finally give praise to American Home Alarms for outstanding customer service from start to finish! We moved in to our new house last year and Ive been talking to my wife about getting a security system put in...Ive never had one before, but with kids and the wife at home you can never be too safe. I knew at the time it was the right thing to do. I'm sooo glad I did! (while on a cruise this year the alarms went off, the police were alerted by the alarm monitoring service. and caught 2 kids in the act of vandalizing my house) I remember seeing ads in the Valpak from time to time advertising a free system so I decided to check into it. After looking through Valpak I came across American Home Alarms and found the ad offering a free alarm system with free cameras, window sensors and other stuff like remote controls for the key chain. (I still have one I use daily on my key chain now) Called the number on the ad and was instantly impressed with their customer service and scheduling. Not to mention I think the total cost to get it set up was under $100!! I could only take off work at certain times and so the window was very small when trying to set the appointment. Not a Problem for these guys....the appt was set on my time and they also mentioned that if anything comes up, I could call in and they would make sure I was rescheduled within days as to not prolong the installation. Installation day came and the Technician that came out was very professional and skilled at his job. He answered every question I had and was very polite to even answer the 50 questions my 4 year old had as well! ha He wasn't pushy in trying to sell me upgrades like other Alarm Co. Ive read about, he simply explained the benefits of the upgrades they offered and let me decide if it was best for my family. I received the newest equipment out, so I instantly knew that this was the right company to call. Like other reviews for this company, our tech left his phone number in case of any problems. None to date! Long story short, American Home Alarms exceeding my expectations with installation and service!
