DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - We hired Post Alarm in Arcadia, Calfironia to install an alarm system which they did and to conduct daily perimeter walks of our property. As part of the daily perimeter checks, we specifically requested that newspapers be picked up and placed at the front door. Glenn sold us the system, and we later dealt directly with Rob regarding ongoing concerns. The last time we raised this issue, Rob gave us his word that it would be resolved. It has not been resolved. We visited the property today and found clear evidence that the agreed-upon services are not being performed. The pictures speak for themselves. This is apparently how this company treats clients when they believe there is little to no oversight. This is a complete breach of trust. We are being billed for services that are simply not being provided. There is no excuse for charging customers while failing to fulfill basic contractual obligations. Extremely disappointing and entirely unacceptable. No one from Post Alarm has returned my call. read more

I hired POST to modify our home's alarm and camera system to be wired only, and thus completely immune to RF jamming (a growing problem in Los Angeles). We recently changed our alarm service from ADT which we have had for over 11 years to Post Alarm and we couldn't be happier with the change. Although one hopes to never use their services, today we had a scare when my wife saw and heard someone directly outside of our home on the hillside where there is no access. I was not home and she was alone. Terrified, she ran inside the house and debated calling the police versus Post Patrol. Based on recent history of delays in police response, she made the call to post and within minutes three armed post officers, including Lieutenant Robert Kalestian came to the property. They checked the entire hillside, cleared the threat and re-assured my wife. This was such a pleasant response to know we are under such amazing patrol and quick response time. As a point of reference, we had a robbery next door a while back and they were also monitored by ADT. Their alarm system went off and all ADT did was alert the police, with the response time taking over 40 minutes for police to arrive. More than enough time for the house to be burglarized and escape. Post Alarm is good when you don't have issues. The billing , customer service, tech dept all sound courteous. We have been using Post for over 20 years and we are paying over $130 monthly ! We had low battery message yesterday and a Post tech is scheduled to come on July 3. It is strange cause Post had just changed the battery in May which is less than 2 months ago. We called Post when couldn't arm our office main entry alarm last night . The lady who answered the phone said someone will call me this morning. NO ONE DID. I called in the afternoon requesting a tech to come by but the lady cust service told me we are scheduled on July 3rd and if we want earlier service , it would be emergency service call which will cost over $200 plus parts. She told me they don't have anything earlier unless someone cancelled. Both customer service and tech dept said I can bypass that door to arm the alarm. I do not mind bypass for a day but not for 2 weeks for a main entry door? I start to wonder if Post is short of staff or has too many service issues ? It is disappointing for a security company not being able to take care of technical issues sooner and not prioritizing the the security of their customers. read more
