Once again I'm here thanking my favorite linens store. Giovanni is always there to lend an helping hand, he is full of ideas and has lots of experience with party decor. This time we had a Tiana themed Quinceañera and as you will see in the photos, he made it happened. We had custom made overlays exactly like in Tiana's place in the Disney movie. They were the hit of the party. I also purchased drapes for the stage of the venue. Everything was gorgeous thanks to Mr. Farshad and his employees. They were very helpful, but I bought a 90" fancy tablecloth linen (they told me it was 90" and of course you would trust them at the store), and I came home to measure it and it was only 80"! There's no returns and I just feel a little jipped. They have some good selections, but please bring your tape measurer if you're going to shop here. read more

Victor was very helpful my last trip in. Unlike most downtown fabric shops they don't hassle you and follow you around like lost puppies trying to sell you something completely different than what you are looking for. They have a very large selection of satin and specialty fabrics think weddings, parties. They also make custom chair covers and tablecloths as well as bows and napkins. Their prices are very competitive as well. Parking is a nightmare so if you plan on trekking around to different shops just pay the $6 for the lot across from Home Fabric (Wall St. and 9th). That way you don't have to worry about the hawk like meter maids trolling the streets. read more

He is so accommodating to help you with all your problems for table cloth designs - My mother was in a rush to do a surprise party and she ordered tablecloths - and overnight they made the tablecloths in the custom color we needed and the custom size!It was amazing! He could not do the custom table runners overnight so we had to buy them stock. Plus they were washable. It was cheaper than renting them and plus we have them on hand for any other party! First let me say their fabric is beautiful and their prices are great. I really wish I did not have to leave this review or stop ordering from this company but I have ordered several times from this company and my order almost everytime has had issues. Mainly I make a certain type of costume alot and work with a certain color pallette. I have ordered all 4 fabrics they have in the color pallette I use... Aqua, Turquoise, Light Turquoise and Tiffany. Each order has had mistakes in the colors I have received. They have sent replacements each time the order was wrong and in general were helpful until this last order. This time I ordered AQUA organza in two different types and I received TURQUOISE. I know I received turquoise because I have ordered the fabric before and have swatches of the 4 different colors. It is clearly Turquoise and is not even close to the AQUA I ordered. I contacted customer service and they insist is it is the AQUA I ordered when is not and clearly does not even look close to the AQUA they display on their website it is a completely different color. I sent them pictures and everything to prove my point. I am done with them I will not be ordering from them again. They clearly have issues with the staff filling orders in the warehouse as they cannot seem to fill the orders right and have very poor customer service. read more

EXCELLENT!!!! Service. I don't even know were to begin. About 7 months I decided to start my life long dream of owning my design and linens rental business. I walked and walked, priced matched, compared fabrics and looked for the best customer service I could find. After a long day of some outrageous quotes, rude service and bad materials I bumped in to American Home Designs. OMG I walked in there and I was in heaven. Fabrics galore, colors up and down the wall I didn't know there was 10 different pinks, and 12 different yellows and 2 types of polyesters and chair covers don't even get me started. I was helped by Giovanni he from the moment I got there was nothing but helpful. He was the one with all the info. He didn't follow me around when I had a question I would ask he would answer and then tell me when you are ready let me know, very patient, considering I was undecided LOL and couldn't make up my mind. I was explained about quality and stitching, fabrics, and care for my linens. I walked out of there with all the stuff I needed to stat up my business and was able to purchase samples as well to show my clients. I have gone back 4 more times since then and I only use them for my linens and go to Geovanni to help me. Besides the service you receive they go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need for your event.
