So today Feb 14th, 2025 I went to Party On LA and it's no longer running. This picture was taken today. There's a ton of fabrics in this junkyard behind the building, it's so strange. No sign or anything on their door, just chained up and closed. My friend has been calling the store for over a week now and I had to see it for myself. What a blow!! This place is the one stop shop! They have every color, material, decor for all occasions. Babyshower, weddings, birthday, quinceanera you name there's decor for it. The lady was so helpful I bought sine butterflies for a quinceanera, pink sash for bow, candy jars, crowns got Lil diamonds for our sweets table. I saw a one star review from February 2025 because the person stated the store was closed. I remember there being a short period earlier this year when Party On LA -- along with several others in DTLA -- was closed. I assumed it was due to very valid safety concerns. Good prices and very busy shop. I always check them out 1st. and get exactly what I come for. Be pleasant to them, and they will reciprocate. I often see 'difficult" customers talking down to the staff in an impatient, rude and demanding way. However, the staff has put up with them, fairly well. read more

We walked in with a wheelchair/handicap trying to look for our supplies and the elder asian lady behind the register told us no stollers and asked us to step out the store due to "no space" . The aisle's are narrow but there was no customers. I am extremely embarrassed & honestly appalled. It was such and uncomfortable & anxious situation. No one, especially someone in a wheel chair should have to go through that. read more

I literally got kicked out... for texting.. I went in and was looking round then started texting and the owner came out of no where and said "no pictures you need to leave" I tried to explain to her but she wouldn't have it and kept saying I had to go now I had to leave, I was never able to explain or show her that I had no images of her store! Party On LA has a huge selection of tablecloths, overlays and other linens. I have shopped here for a while and can usually find most of the tablecloths that I need. They have several size tablecloths for both round and rectangular tables. They carry 120" and 180" round tablecloths, which is great because you usually cant find these somewhere else. They also carry tablecloths that drop all the way to the floor and halfway. The only thing I do not like about this store is that you can not return tablecloths. So remember if you buy the wrong color you can not return them. Even though I am a long time client of theirs they wouldn't do a one time deal. Otherwise the linen prices are fairly cheap and they also carry the balloon arches. They do give you a discount if you buy 10 or more items. This is a corner location and are next to the parking meter parking which is cheaper than the regular parking. read more

Just stopped by and noticed this sign with $2. Picked out some runner and the older lady at the register wouldn't honor the price. Ask for a manager, a younger lady comes in and said no it was our mistake we can't sell it for that price. $5 only per piece. What kind of false advertisement they have and yet tell the customer you are wrong when management acknowledges their mistake. If possible no stars for rudeness and no customer service. Take your business down the street if you can. read more

Ive been, here before for table linens and for $6 ill keep coming back. Theyre the typical linens you rent at the party supply stores and for a few bucks more you get to keep them. They have the usual party decor, ballons, streamers, cups and plates... I didnt get help from the employees since i knew what i was going for and my color scheme. Not sure why there are "bad" reviews... but my experience was .... 1.. its DOWNTOWN shopping so your looking for a deal, not shopping for high end service. 2... The store provides exactly what your looking for when it comes to PARTIES, BANQUETT, SCHOOL EVENTS ETC... 3... The color selection was overwhelming!. The woman who help me was great at keeping me focused on my event task (because I was overwhelmed with options). Friendly and professional. That's not always available downtown!!! They have a sign posted on top of the cash register that says "No refunds or exchanges without receipt." I interpret that as...if I have my receipt, then I can return or exchange. That is NOT the case. You can only exchange if you have receipt. No returns at all. I bought extra stuff thinking that I would rather have too much than run out since I can return the extra stuff. So much for that. I argued with the Korean lady behind the register and told her that her sign is not consistent with the supposed policy. She insisted that her sign was accurate. Trying to argue with a lady that barely speaks English about her command of the English language was a futile effort. Needless to say, customer service is not a priority for them. I gave up arguing with her because 1) it was obvious that she wasn't going to take responsibility and honor the actual definition of her signage (versus her incorrect interpretation of the sign) and 2) at the end of the day, I was only trying to return about $15 of merchandise. What this store needs to realize is that they are very narrow minded and short sighted. They are going to lose way more than $15 of business. I will just go to the stores down the street that sell the same stuff. And I will make sure that all of my friends and the Yelp community know to buy from the other stores. There is a store about 100 yards away that has a MUCH larger selection of linens than this place. And there are a bunch of other stores within walking distance of this place that sell most of the same party supplies. read more

This place has almost everything you need when it come to linens. I've gone in here a few times and I hate it. The owner is always in a bad mood and is rude. The helpers are also very moody probably because they are disgruntled employees. I always feel uncomfortable. read more

Found exactly what I was looking for,, The lady that worked there was very helpful was able to show me exactly what I was looking for. Also showed me the different materials for the backdrop curtains. Great prices I also purchased large flowers for a photo backdrop it was $14 for two large flowers which is a great deal. I Purchased polyester tablecloth shiny glittery table runners and spent about 50 bucks which is a great deal definitely coming back and I would definitely recommend this place read more

My fiancé and I went in hopes of finding table cloths for our wedding and instantly regretted it. Lost out hard earned money on poor quality fabric and very poor quality stitching we could had done ourselves. We didn't get the order we were promised and when we went to discuss our concerns with the owner, she didn't care or apologize. Save your money. I love their selection. I originally stopped by when I needed table clothes for my works Christmas party. They gave me a great deal. The reason for the 3 stars is due to customer service. Was able to get 4 long ivory tableclothes, 12 ivory round tablecloths (108 inches) and 8 persimmon overlays for $185 after tax. This store had some good buys, but not enough workers to help with the needs of the customers, came back to purchase some tissue paper and the lady would not sell any to me sonce it was 3pm and she said she was closed, so needless to say I will not shop there again. read more

This place is fantastic! located right on a corner and they have so many items! we got satin overlays but we did have to match each one as the colors were a little off each-other but we got 100 black cloth napkins for under $50. definitely will come back for any party needs! read more
