Gorgeous and Authentic French pastries!! I came in with my friend to meet for coffee and a quick bite. The inside is so cute a little small but perfect for two to 4 people groups. All the pastries in the showcase looked so delicious and the smell of freshly baked croissants and baguettes it was amazing. I ended up getting a pistachio French eclair and also a ham and cheese croissant and for my drinks I decided to get the white chocolate iced latte. The lady working was so sweet she warmed our croissants while seated and it was done in a matter of minutes. Everything was delicious and the quality was amazing! Cute bakery with a few gluten free options. I bought a gluten free item which was delicious, but for the cost I didn't think the value was there. I bake a lot of gluten free and am aware of the price difference in ingredients. I appreciate bakeries that price accordingly and don't mind paying a little more, but not 100% more. My friend, who is not gluten free, got a pastry for around $4.50, so for non gluten I think the prices are fairly good. read more

This bakery is back, and reopened under new ownership as of January 2024. Just read about the new owners and their French pastries in the June edition of the Osprey Observer. I was amazed to see eclairs of various flavors, and brioche style pastries & breads. There were even a few treats that I've never had before that are made of choux pastry dough. Most specifically la Religieuse (or the nun) and the Paris-Brest pastries. They are so delicate & delicious. The fresh pastry creams are so light and airy. I did see some artisanal patisseries as well as gluten-free ones. The bakery still makes cookies, brownies, cake balls, bars, cupcakes, and more. Their Pain Suisse au Chocolat is the brioche version. It's similar to the traditional croissant type pastry, only it's made with a sweet bread. They also have all kinds of croissants and breads. I couldn't pass up the Fougasse loaf with olives. I was given instructions on how to toast it with a sprinkling of olive oil. It came out perfectly. I can see this bread served with a charcuterie board, or with tapas. We loved all of it! As you can see, I had to go back a second time this past July 4th weekend. There were so many items that I wanted to try. The flavored eclairs left me wanting more. I'd never had eclairs filled with mango or coffee cream. The mango even had a hint of passion fruit. Yes, my husband sent me back for more. Oh, and the strawberry macarons were so perfect with the fresh strawberry jam filling. I will return many more times. The coffee and sandwiches look amazing. There are a few tables inside as well as outside. The service is fantastic as well. I actually met one of the owners (a family owned business) who is from Brittany. She even gave me a few travel tips for our next trip to Provence. A very nice family. Don't pass this place up if you're in the Riverview area. What a find! A neighbor recommended this bakery to us and I am so glad she did. The selection was huge. Cookies, pastries, danishes, macrons, cupcakes and a bunch of other types of desserts. We couldn't get there until 2pm and their cases were still full of treats. I had an apple/cinnamon danish and later, a lemon tart. The croissant dough on the danish was laminated well and had a flaky, buttery taste. The tart was spectacular. The lemon filling was so tangy and sweet that my mouth is watering again just writing about it. We will definitely be back to try other goodies. The savory croissants and the chocolate croissants will probably be next on my list. Yum! read more

They had a great variety of ice cream to choose from. The flavors common enough to sound familiar but unique enough to know it's handmade. They had most of the toppings you would expect and could get it in a cup or various dipped cones. The service was awesome. I had the pleasure of finding this quaint little place while i was craving almond croissants, upon entering I was surprised by the cuteness and was greeted by someone from behind the counter and surprisingly she had a French accent. I asked if she had almond croissants and she stated that she did have a couple and would check in back to see if there were any others. While waiting a saw some lovely cookies and on the case. Upon returning with a few more almond croissants I asked her to box all of them as well as some of the cookies. The service was excellent. I couldn't wait to get in the car so I could dig into the bag of cookies and after eating one I ended up devouring four of them all before starting the car. An unexpected find in Riverview, a lovely French cafe! My test for a bake shop that serves croissants is the chocolate croissant. Theirs did not disappoint, it was flaky, well laminated ( haha, learned that term from watching too many baking shows!) and the chocolate quality is amazing. Finally got a chance to stop by Pink Door Bakery. Just before I stopped by, I spotted the flamingo pina colada cakesicle on their Instagram. If anyone knows me, that is so me. I had to get it. Walking through the pink door, the inside is just so darling and has fun tea items, dog lover decor, cake themed candles and soaps and wonderful baked items ranging from cupcakes to cookies to dessert bars, etc. I had to make a choice. Oh I hate doing that, but it was easy for me. That pina colada flamingo cakesicle was definitely mine. I picked two cookies - chocolate chip and chocolate toffee chip for my hubby. They were packed up nicely in two pink boxes. I brought them home & warmed them both up. I love them warm. My husband's cookies were baked to sweet perfection. I cut a small piece of my pina colada cakesicle. Perfect flavor, sweetness, texture. I have more for later and so happy!! Loved Pink Door Bakery down to their every detail and wonderful desserts. I would absolutely recommend visiting this adorable French-owned bakery. The French bread was delectable, as were the pastries. There was an almond pastry that was airy and dreamy and buttery. The cupcake was a little dry, a little bland but they're decorated to perfection, so can't fault too much on that. The service is amazing, packaged with care for the precarious ride home. And for house made baked goods, the price will make you feel as the Marion to their Robin Hood. Will certainly try the cakes next time.
