American Motor also runs Turo through this location. I had rented a car through them two weeks ag. The car had an old musky smell to it. Even with the multiple air fresheners inside. The AC ran pretty weak the whole time I had the car. Then two weeks later after renting this car, they send me a toll charge that happened a WEEK before I had even rented this car! So, they tried passing this charge on me knowing when the incident happened (read invoice). They must of thought I would just pay the small toll fee and all is well. So, if you're renting a Turo vehicle through them beware of charges they may pass on to you later on? Turo as a whole is a great service & I will continue to use Turo. I can't really give a review on my buying experience because they refused to sell me a car. They ran my credit, told me it was a done deal, then never called or emailed me again. I don't get it? It was a car under $10k, so they probably wouldn't make much money on it. Don't try to buy a car under that amount from here or they won't help you. I'm not sure why they even have cars under $10k if they aren't planning on selling them. Why even run my credit? Waste of time and took a ding on my credit for the inquiry. They are a bunch of assholes. They try to sell you that fake "we care about our customers" line at the beginning but I don't understand why waste your time even trying to convince me if you already knew you weren't going to sell me anything? Had such a positive experience at this place - I had shopped around at other dealerships, but the dealers were *super* douchey (let's be honest, they totally were). I met Jonathan and right away I found that he was very helpful. He found me a car that I LOVE and that's *also* within my budget. (I was very clear from the beginning that I had a strict budget and Jonathan worked hard to suit my needs. At other dealerships, they were clearly trying to shove expensive cars down my throat and make me sign up for their bogus financing.) Went for a car that I saw on Facebook marketplace. I reached out the same day as I was told to make sure someone would be available and that the car would be there. Once I drove an hour to get there the salespersons were too busy and not helpful at all and once we finally figured out the car had been sold they ignored us. He genuinely wants his customers to be happy and it shows as he has been in business for over a decade. They mechanical issue is getting fixed, and Paul is taking care of it as I write this. I only signed up for Yelp just to give this place a horrible review. I bought a car with them 3 months ago. It is now almost over 90 days and have yet to received the registration or license plates. I have called me numerous times and they give me the runaround. Then about a month ago they called and said sorry we messed up so we need you to smog the car. They said they would reimburse me for their mistake. I got the car smog done and have yet to receive the reimbursement check for the smog or the license and registration on the car. I bought a used vehicle from them. So far, it works with a few repairs to be expected. Just be careful and ask questions. They sold it to me without signing title over to themselves. This is called title jumping. It can cause issues with the DMV. Fortunately, I was able to correct errors and get my reg. But ask questions before you buy.
