    AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad It was a pleasure meeting Everyone person Saturday when i went to purchase my Mazda CX-50. Ash Keshtmand, Sales Manger mentioned to me that he wanted to earn my business and he did that and more !! An additional thank you and appreciation to sorting out a missed option issue. I believe we both came together with a win-win in the complete overall sale and transaction on everything!! The whole team was great from Sunny, to Esmerald to Austin in finance.     I was ready to replace my 2011 Mazda3 Hatchback & found my new car on Carfax at Autonation Mazda Carlsbad. My sales rep was Ian Moss & he was knowledgeable & a true gentleman. I fell in love at 1st sight with my 2021 Corolla hatchback. Ian was patient & helpful during the whole process. I highly recommend him & the dealership!

    I've been working with Leo for about a month now on negotiating a vehicle. I will say Leo has been extremely helpful throughout the process. My credit was checked and I signed to have a vehicle held for me when it arrived as it wasn't on lot yet. I was out of the country when the vehicle finally arrived and was being pressed to e-sign for a car I've never seen in person to avoid losing out on deal terms / December incentives. I've never signed for a car without test driving and seeing it in person. I noticed some bubbles / ripples in the seats in the photos that were posted online so I decided to return home early from my trip to see car in person before signing. Today, I went in and test drove the car but it did have factory defects in seating upon arrival. Leather has tons of ripples and is completely warped in some areas. This is unacceptable for a brand new vehicle fresh off the truck. It's not the dealerships fault, it's a Mazda production issue. However, the dealership should stand by the product they sell and correct the issues. I was working with Chase and Leo to see if the seats could be fixed. Time was not in my favor though, I kept being told that I face potentially losing out on deal terms if I didn't sign today. I was not comfortable driving the car off the lot yet as it was raining badly and couldn't do a thorough walk around plus I was already dissatisfied with the interior condition. Chase and Leo acknowledged my concerns and the issues with the seats and said they'd try to work on it. I went home and contemplated signing everything even though a resolution had not been fully presented. I still didn't feel good about things so I called the dealership to see if I could get some reassurance prior to signing and placing deposit. That's when I was connected to Sonny because Chase and Leo were gone for the day. I completely lost all faith after speaking with Sonny. He told me he had two employees look at the car and saw a video for himself and nothing is wrong with the car. That this car is in the same condition as any other car on their lot. Well, if this is the condition of all cars then Mazda has major issues with their manufacturing of seats. Sonny said he was happy I didn't buy the car and that he wasn't going to help fix anything. I told him he was going against what Leo and Chase already agreed too. It's New Year's Eve, I've spent over a month waiting on this car. I had my credit checked for this specific car and everything. I cannot believe that Sonny is the sales manager and telling me that there is nothing wrong with the seats when they have defects that others have already acknowledged. I completely lost faith after my conversation with Sonny and wish I never spoke with him. I'm so frustrated and upset with my experience. Sonny told me they would sell the car to someone else. Anyone purchasing a $60k car is going to expect it to be in pristine condition so if you don't fix it for me, you'll likely have to fix it for the next person anyway. And guess what Sonny, I can buy this car from somewhere else for the same deal without all the pressure and reverse psychology tactics. Happy New Year! VIN: JM3KKEHC5T1362250

I reached out to Toyota Carlsbad as their website showed they had a 2026 RAV4 FWD in stock. Hamid, the salesperson, reached back out to me to let me know that they did not have that specific configuration in stock, but had an open reservation that was in transit. He let me know I could put a refundable deposit to reserve it. I decided to proceed with that and it was very easy with their reservation system. Hamid kept me up to date on the status of the vehicle. When it arrived, my wife and I scheduled a time to do a test drive. When we got to the dealership, it was out and ready for us. Hamid showed the car and its features to us. My wife did the test drive as I needed to watch our baby. After the test drive, Hamid gave us a quote for the car and some options. The quote was very competitive and he did not try to pressure us into any add-ons. We wanted to think about it for a day as we were test driving other cars, which Hamid was amenable to. My wife and I talked it over and were having a hard time picking which car we liked. Since I did not get a chance to test drive the RAV4 myself, I reached back out to Hamid the next day and asked if he was okay letting me come back to test drive myself. He was fine with that and I came back up to test drive. Hamid let me take my time and really let me feel out the RAV4. After driving it, I decided that it wasn't a fit for us. I let Hamid know. He had no issues with that and was extremely professional. Overall was very happy with my experience. Hamid was straightforward, honest, communicative, and overall great to work with. If we want to look at a Toyota in the future, I will definitely reach out to Hamid and Toyota Carlsbad.

    One word. Tanner…read more(service advisor). He legit has changed my mind about Lexus. I've had horrible service over the years from Escondido and San Diego. I was going to get rid of my (paid off) car and get into a non Lexus lease because I was getting frustrated and annoyed with service advisors. The Carlsbad location is a further drive and the center seems older. But I can tell you it was WORTH IT because of Tanner. He was upfront, honest, and knowledgeable when I first spoke to him. I needed brake pads and possible new rotors. I just trusted him when he said to first pay for the brake diagnostic (I think it was like $59.95?) and they'll know exactly the issue to see exactly what needs to be done. The fee will go directly towards any service and it wasn't a loss as I knew for sure my brake pads were worn badly. The loaner department was also quick and efficient (I think the guy's name was David?). He got me their newer 2025 RX to the loaner and I totally understand why they give Lexus loaners as I emailed tanner to say hey wait don't do the service as I may just trade in the car (kinda half joking here). But I know which car I'll be getting in the next two years now. The brake service was PERFECT. I didn't need new rotors (yes!!) but was super close to it (as i expected). I also decided to get a full interior/exterior detail for the car (haven't had it since owning it so it was much needed). I am back today for the alignment (got the wheels at Costco few min away as their 4 tire special beat Lexus). Hopefully alignment went well but I wouldn't expect anything less at this point with Tanner and his team here. Thank you Carlsbad Lex!

Even as we were purchasing the vehicle, I saw some smudges and I really appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and follow-through throughout the process. It felt like he genuinely wanted to help me find the right car, tried to get me what I wanted out of the car buying experience with a lot of work behind the scenes, and make the experience as smooth as possible. My husband called in the AM to inquire about the vehicle and we were driving off the lot a few hours later. Austin was our salesman who helped us over the phone before driving all the way in. When we arrived Austin had the car ready, and numbers prepared just as he and my husband had discussed earlier that day. No gimmicks or extra sales pitches. We sealed the deal within 45 minutes and before driving away, he made sure to our gas tank filled which was nearly on empty and had the car detailed (other dealerships were only offering us a $6 express car wash next door!) so this was really appreciated. After going through a few unpleasant experiences at other dealerships, we left feeling confident that we made the right decision with this Mazda dealership. Working with finance was a breeze too. Though they offer you more and it may sound appealing it wasn't in our plans to purchase an extended warranty. Yoni was respectful of that and didn't push anything on us that we didn't want. She shared that the tech who was assigned to my vehicle had already left for the day. The only details Adriana has was that GM had approved one of the two requests for repair. She had no specifics as to which part nor a timeline. She then said she would follow up with me the very next day when the tech returned. She never did that Friday. I made another request for an update on Saturday and another on Monday, no update. I reached out a third time as it's now Tuesday, five days later. I was able to finally reach Adriana. Only to find out one part did arrive and she still couldn't tell me which part. Adriana let me know she would get back to me with an update and a timeline but never did. How is the place in business?! I finally received a completion text. I still have no idea what correction was performed. I also had no means of getting back to the dealer. I then learn the text sent was an error. LOL! No alternative transportation was offered until 13 days in. How do people survive without a vehicle for 13 days? I was never able to break away to retrieve a rental when it was finally made available due to my schedule and rental vehicle availability. I'm told my vehicle will be done on Thursday so I'll wait it out. Three days later, no update. Friday, no update. The weekend goes by, no update. I even left a message with reception for someone in service to call me, no update. PCC service has now had my vehicle for 20 full days. I get ahold of Adriana on day 20. She informs they haven't even started working on my car. WHAT??!! They've done NOTHING but confirm the interior parts are defective, order and receive parts. Due to weather and their own process of working on cars in a queue, they haven't started. I told them to send me a ride share. I'm coming in to pick up my car. I never received a text or call with any information that wasn't first initiated by me the entire 20 days my vehicle was in service. I even made three attempts to reach the service manager Summer. One voicemail, one note to be handed directly to her and another call. No follow up! I haven't yet mentioned that I opened a case with GM beforehand. I was told by GM EV concierge they were unable to receive any update over the 20 days my vehicle was at PCC. Let that sink in GM couldn't reach anyone at their own authorized service center for 20 days. What an absolute embarrassment. I suggest you look elsewhere when in need of service or repair. The incompetence at PCC is rampant throughout all levels of the Service Center.

The vehicle has now been in the shop for over a week with no clear progress and, more importantly, zero proactive communication from the service department. We had to repeatedly contact them just to receive minimal updates: Waiting for warranty approval Then told the part hadn't arrived No confirmed timeline No follow-up No explanation Despite this being a warranty repair and the extended time without our vehicle, we were never offered a courtesy or loaner car. Even after multiple follow-ups and a formal escalation, we still received little to no communication. The lack of accountability, communication, and basic customer service is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase the service department for basic updates--especially for warranty work. I would not recommend this service department to anyone. Very disappointing experience.
