He diagnosed and repaired the leak (very hard work) and left the site clean, with no sign that any work had been done. The price of the work was fair, given the PREMIUM service. They ruptured a…read moregas line using a regular shovel, they ripped up the internet cable causing the whole neighbor to be with out internet for 2 weeks. They were told not to install any heads in the right of way. They did and then they removed it. The overall sales person (RICK HARRISON) who I directly designed my system with, did not communicate to the installation team the type of sprinklers I wanted and where to install the back flow valve. They also had to install a pressure pump, due to low pressure for $1400.00. I specifically told Rick where it needed to be in relation to the electric outlet . I had the outlet installed exactly where Rick said it had to be. I then spent $200.00 to have an electrical outlet installed. When I checked their work after they left. I found an orange extension cord lying on the ground, in a pool of water ,connected to my $200.00 outlet, they installed the pump to far away from the outlet. I again had to pay another $200.00 to move the outlet so the pump can connect directly to the outlet. Then the pump cracked and stop working, the back check valve cracked and had to be replaced. this is after I had them winterize my system. It has been nightmare of a project. Everytime they came out, something was wrong. I finally had to ban them from my property. it is now several years later and the system is worse than ever. I have spent a lot of money in repairs. I basically will have rebuilt the system by the end of this year. Do not use this company. I discussed this with my general contractor who suggested an elaborate drainage system. It looked reasonable but was going to cost a fortune so I sought the wisdom of someone who specialized in the subject and found Yaardvark. I met Nick at my site and he explained that his first inclination is to let gravity work for us and take a re-grading approach to make the water go where we needed it to go. Nick was well equipped with a really cool, elevation measuring instrument that provided vital elevation info in a few minutes. He also recommended replacing the downspout drainage system (cheap corrugated) with smooth pipe that doesn't clog up after a few years. Nick showed me the old corrugated piping he replaced which was completely packed with dirt, no drainage happening at all. Nick had the new plan implemented in a couple weeks. It has proven totally effective through recent storms, and at a fraction of the cost and complexity that had been proposed by others. I have appreciated Nick's amicable nature and honest approach to efficient problem solving. My strongest recommendation.

They are going to nickel and dime you to resolve any issues and not stand behind their work or company name. We used Blingle to install lights in our front and back yard about two years ago. Design and installation went smoothly - no issues. However, the reason for my poor review is due to customer service now that two franchises (?) have merged. We have an issue with one of our lights and the new owners aren't honoring the agreement that we had with the previous Blingle franchise. I compare this to a Ford dealer telling a customer they aren't willing to service a vehicle that was purchased at a different Ford dealership - but aren't they the same company? They told me they are "offering an olive branch" to come help me out. They wanted to charge over $100 to come to our house just to look at the issue. I figured the issue is due to low amps from where the main electrical is located and was probably an installation issue, but I was willing to pay the service charge if it's something else besides their error. This is after I was told by the original installer/franchise that any installation issues or hardware issues would be covered under warranty. After my initial phone call for service, I provided my address and photos of the issue because I expected to be contacted to schedule the appointment. It was my understanding from my conversation with the new owners that the service fee would be owed if the issue was caused by something else than incorrect installation or hardware - like damage from an animal, our landscaper etc. I was more than happy to pay that and any other charges if the issue wasn't their fault or failing hardware under warranty. No additional follow-up was made until a day or two later when an invoice from Blingle showed up in my email. I thought I missed their inspection (the light is outside, so I thought maybe they came while I wasn't home and they fixed the issue) so I called to follow up. I was then told I would have to prepay the service call invoice before they would come to our house. We have been doing upgrades and repairs to our home but we have never had a company ask us to prepay for a service visit. So now I'm being asked to pay an invoice, that I shouldn't have to pay, before services are even provided? The nominal amount of the invoice wasn't the issue, it's the principle and the way the whole situation was handled. Now I'm going to have to find another lighting company to come out to fix my lights and probably pay more than the original service fee. I'm more than happy to pay more with a company that appreciates their customers. We also live in a new neighborhood and I've provided referrals to Blingle due to the experience we had at installation. The team is responsive and quick to respond when needed. I communicate with them via text and they are always timely in response, while also ensuring to answer any questions I may have, etc... Since the initial seeding, I have reached back out to have a few patchy areas reseeded. They came out without delay, walked me through what to do next and how to monitor progress before the freeze of winter hits. From start to now, I have seen a great improvement in my lawn. For the second year in a row, my lawn is brown. I even paid more this year for additional services I did not have before, but the lawn actually looks worse. I pay them for disease control and basically everything they offer, yet the lawn still has the same issues. They keep saying it is due to the soil, but other people have told me it looks like disease. One person on their team even said it looked like disease again, but still offered no real solution. Then the office said it was not disease, but again, they did not come out, do anything meaningful, or offer a real plan to fix it. Another company I called said they were confident the issue was disease. They also said that if disease control had been done, the company should have offered to treat it or at least come out and inspect it. That made me question whether the disease control was actually working, or whether it was handled properly. To be honest, my lawn looked better before I started using them. They are expensive, and since using them, my lawn looks worse than ever. The biggest issue is that when I asked about the problem, they never really came out to inspect it and find the actual cause. It also takes days to get a response on anything, and when they do respond, it is usually just the same repeated explanation with no real solution. No one seems to take ownership, offer help, or try to actually fix the problem. When I called to cancel, they did not offer to come look at the lawn, fix anything, or make it right. The response was basically, "Ahh man, I'm sorry. I know we did our best, but I truly wish you luck." All of my neighbors' lawns look great, and they use other companies. I am moving to one of those companies because I cannot keep paying a premium price for a lawn that looks brown, unhealthy, and worse than it did before I hired them.
