We used American Limo Express for my daughter's birthday party transportation from Glenview into the city and back. We sent six teen aged girls on their own and felt totally safe with this company. They were amazing. No problems whatsoever. The driver was very responsive and gave continuous updates by text (drop off, ready for pickup, on our way...). The sprinter van was awesome. The six girls loved it and said it was was so much fun. My daughter is still saying that her birthday was so fun and the limo was a big part of it. They were prompt to pick us up on the way to the airport. The SUV was roomy, clean and warm. We arrived with plenty of time to spare. These guys are by far the best town car service in Chicagoland. I used Ari and his crew for the first time a few months ago and because of their great customer service I now use them weekly. Ari and his team are always prompt for both my pick-ups, home and O'Hare. Like the other review mentioned he didn't need directions on how to get me back home, remembering where we lived when he picked me up. Ari also confirms with me my pick up time and follows my flight so I don't have to update him on my travel time. We used Ari's service to get to the airport and back on our recent trip to Cabo. On the outbound trip, the driver took kind of weird route, but we got to the airport with no problems. He was here ahead of schedule and waited patiently until we came out. He was nice and quiet on the ride too. When we came back into town, we had trouble with our bags and it took us some time to get out of the airport. Ari was there waiting for us and he couldn't have been nicer. He's also extremely personable and seems genuinely interested in his passengers. Amazing service. Their driver was friendly, professional and showed up early. We had a very comfortable drive to Midway which is hard to do with 6 in tow. The car was immaculate. The driver was great with our children. It was just so nice to not have the stress of the drive all the way to Midway right before our flight. Also he picked us up for the return home. Horrible company. Called a few days before our departure and made a reservation for a Saturday at 8am. Asked person on the phone to repeat our order to confirm it. We waited until 810 before calling, as the car hadn't arrived. The person who answered the phone said he would call back in a few minutes. We called at 815 as he hadn't yet called back and were told "we have you scheduled for tomorrow". I said "so there's no car coming?" And he said no. Would NOT recommend this company. We reserved a car to drive us to the airport, so it was important they showed - let alone arrived on time. Absolutely will not use this company again. We had a car take us from Grayslake to OHare on a wintery day. We made the reservation a couple weeks in advance, and then called the day before to confirm and request an even earlier pick up. To our delight, the driver arrived about 45 minutes early! He did not disturb us, but waited patiently in the vehicle. Nevertheless, we were able to pull our things together and leave even earlier. He emphasized he was not trying to rush us, rather he wanted to alleviate any concerns we had about arriving at O'Hare on time. The vehicle was clean, and seemed to be in good repair. He was pleasant, helpful, polite... Everything you would want in a driver and a friend! The price was exactly as quoted. He took us right to the door and provided assistance, as expected. WHAT A LIFE SAVER!! My husband & I travelled from Colorado to the Chicagoland area for a wedding. We were staying in Arlington Heights to be centralized to family and friends that we would also be visiting while there. We wanted to enjoy our time at the wedding which was in downtown Chicago and didn't want to have to drive ourselves. Everyone told us to use Lyft or Uber but after waiting 3 days for an acceptance for the job with no response, we started to panic. We mentioned our dilemma to a close friend who announced that her neighbor owned a limo company! That company was American Limo Express! The owner was out of town, but his brother was running things. She asked Sean to call us as soon as he could which he did within 2 hours. He said he could take care of us no problem. Anything we needed, all we had to do was ask. Sean picked us up right on time the day of the wedding. He was very professional and friendly. His black SUV was clean and comfortable. The wedding was to end at Midnight, but Sean told us to call and give him a 30-minute notice if we wanted to leave early. We stayed the entire time and when we walked out the door at Midnight, Sean had just pulled up. Another nice, comfortable ride back to our hotel. What a life saver!!
