I was sent here from my company that covers all fingerprint scanners, I asked the front worker William for two copies of the forms and he then proceeded to fill out my information, weight, height, phone number, and hair color. everything seemed fine until he took me to take my photo? yes I was taking a photo without consent, and then he later proceeded to get my finger print scanned. when it was done he told me to pay. oddly I said I thought it was covered, my company said they do not pay for this so i asked for a refund. he then proceeded to tell my employer that he did not see the form he pre checked and told me to fill out before he took my picture. came back to simply ask for a refund but was rudely yelled at and was told that I made the mistake. Like they could keep my 20$ but I think just the professionalism was lacking with the amount of reviews given. it seems like it's a scam. read more

I love going to American live scan for all my fingerprinting needs. William is always so helpful as well! I've been here a couple times now! I called a few places beforehand and their turnaround time was weeks, William told me that they had a 24 hour turnaround time but that realistically it would take just a couple minutes and sure enough, I had my results by the time I was home. On top of that, William told me step by step how I was going to access those records and boy did it help, I would've been so lost and confused without his advice. I was requested to submit a Live Scan by the Charter School network of which I am a participating Vender, as their legal obligations for the class room safety was updated. I was able to find a street parking on the nearest corner, and to find the office on the first floor of the building was very easy. I was assisted promptly to start the process, and was helped with the code, which I was not sure of unless being familiar with what they represented. Because he was knowledge with the process and the representation of the code, he asked me a few questions and kindly looked up the code to confirm it was the right one to fill in the form for my circumstance. It was the last few days of the year during the pandemic and I was so appreciative of the availability, and for being able to get it done while things were a little slow before the time became rushy again after the new year. The parking is not free and they don't validate parking. But they have their own entrance to make in and out quick and it's very convenient! The only reason I gave 4 stars is the staff was ok, but not very pleasant. But if you want to finish your fingerscan within 10 minutes, this is the place! read more

American Live Scan services were hired to come to my school to fingerprint about 60 people. They were supposed to be on campus from 4-7pm. They arrived 90 minutes late. Several of my classmates had prior engagements and had to leave before they came, and many people were upset with their unexplained tardiness. Their response was to give everyone a $2 discount. This was super random and most people had already brought written checks, so one poor guy had to keep going out to the vending machine to get dollar bills. I was one of the last students to get scanned and there was an awkward pile of snacks in the corner because of this proceeding. I was putting away my forms and getting ready to leave when I overheard the manager say, "well that's the last of them, let's pack it up!" I glanced up at the clock and it read 6:45pm. Leaving 15 minutes before their contracted time? The whole thing seemed rather unprofessional and weird. Fast forward 60 days when I get a letter in the mail telling me my exam application has been rejected because one of the boxes on my Livescan application was checked off incorrectly..... I called Livescan and discovered that there were ELEVEN other students before me who also had errors on their application... I had to take an hour out of my schedule to go down to the office for them to re-do my application and submit a second time. Overall, completely unprofessional conduct if hiring services to come to your company or school. I personally would not recommend this place to anyone who needs to submit important documents, error free, in a timely manner. read more
