I stopped in to American Lube in my area after I had a bad experience at a close by lube shop. Not only did they fill my windshield wiper fluid but also checked and filled my coolant which the other shop failed to do any of. Going forward I will only use American Lube from now on! Can you do zero stars since you received zero service? I pull up there's two cars in the bay. One car on deck I pull up and no one is in the bay working much less underneath the cars so I get out look around wait not even say hello. Just wait and I smart ass comes up the stairs and I asked are you open? We'll yeah obviously we're open, he said. I asked him why he was so rude he said I can go somewhere else and walked back down stair. Wow! I can't deal with rude people much less trust them under my hood and car if he's going to treat me that way. You may be having a bad day dude but you lost my business. read more

Been going here for about 3 years, always friendly staff. They'll air your tires, check your lights, filters and top off your windshield washer fluid along with a wash on the windshield. I really like that they say out loud exactly what it is they're doing. personally, that gives me peace of mind I'm getting what I pay for. An overall great experience every time I come in. I was service at this location for the first and one of the workers forgot to put back the skid plate clips and cause it to hang without me knowing until I heard it dragging as I was driving. I called the owner and He was willing to replace it but the manager said He was not going to. The manager totally lied about about removing this part and forgetting to put it back. I have no problem with making a mistakes but don't change your story when your Boss calls you and asked about it. I'm so disappointed in him and I will not be returning to this company again. I will take my car back to the dealership for a oil change. You live and learn. read more

I got an oil change from them and parked my car immediately after, I live 2 minutes from this location, the next morning one of my tires I've never had a problem with is COMPLETELY flat. I put air in it and called them up and told them what happened. They literally told me it's not their problem and to go f*** myself. These so called mechanics lol put the wrong oil filter on my car. Oil pressure sensor light was activated took it back there right after they did it said that's not their problem they changed my oil it has pressure so it's my car sensor that I need to take it to a mechanic. Took it to Pete Moore who fixed the problem and told me what they did wrong (WRONG OIL FILTER) oh yeah my car was leaking oil because of it. Buyer beware don't take it to these guys yeah their quick but service not good if you care about your car don't take it here they'll only mess your car up take it to your dealership or another place. Never going there again for sure read more

These guys were awesome. I had been driving a lot for work the past two weeks and had put 5000 miles on my vehIcle. I was 2000 miles over the recommended changing mileage. I pulled in at 540 pm - they were closing at 600 pm. They said it wouLd take aboutt 20 minutes to finish the vehicle ahead of me and would I mind waiting. I half expected them to say can you come back tomorrow. Parked it and went to the waiting room and made myself comfortable. They stopped in to let me know how long it would be and when they got my car into the bay they explained what they were going to do. The air filter was pretty dirty and they recommended changing it. Agreed with that. They also looked at the oil and said a flush might be good with the number of miles I went over. We did that. Got out pretty quickly and got going to my hotel. Drove 900 miles today and all good. Thanks guys. read more

I posted this review on Google and It was somehow deleted ( I wonder who did that ) so I am using Yelp. August 31st., 2020 - I have used American Lube Fast at the 6032 N. 9th St. Pensacola, FL address for my three cars, two Toyotas and a Jaguar for some time because the oil change was fast. Observing the two nice young men changing the oil is like watching a play. Lube Fast advertise an oil change for $24.99 including the oil filter. I brought my Jaguar in and was told I now have to have special synthetic oil put in. I have used standard oil for the last 70,000 miles with no problem but the Jag was already in the bay with the hood open so I said OK. The Jag takes eight and a quarter quarts of oil and I always pay more for the extra oil used, it amounts to a $40 or $50 oil change. I figured they would not have an oil filter to fit and I was correct so I brought my own filter. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $120.44 for an oil change which included the $2.80 for the disposal fee and tax minus the oil filter which I brought. I believe the owner will tell me that I have to have the special oil for the health of the Jag and he is required to do so. I have never had any problems using standard oil for the past 70,000 miles and I have never paid $120.44 for an oil change which amounts to $14.60/quart including tax and disposal fee. They have now lost my business and this information has already been passed to the websites servicing the 174 homes in my gated community and the 252 memberships of my yacht club. read more

This location only had two people working at the time . The wait was a lot longer than I usually wait but I understand. I left the facility and drove about four miles to my dads house turned the truck off and my truck was smoking and the smell of oil burning was quite thick. I crawled up under the truck and noticed an oil leak around the filter. This morning I took my truck back to American Lube Fast on 9th Avenue and told the boy working that there was a leak at the filter. He pulled me up to same spot I was yesterday and took a look. After a few minutes he informed me that "the filter wasn't leaking ,it's where the filter connects to the block." At this point I'm getting a little upset and wondering what we can do to fix the leak. This employee told me that it's not his problem because it's not the filter it's the gasket where the filter hits the block. There has never been any leak of any kind anywhere on my truck. I feel as if the oil should've been drained the filter should've been pulled the gasket and the block wiped clean and put back in place. But for this employee to tell me that he's not gonna do anything about it showed me that American Lube Fast won't stand behind their work and they are not training their employees to be responsible for the things they do and say. It was fast, which was positive. However, there was misleading advertising with price and discounts, which frustrated me. The quoted $24.99 price for an oil change does not include topping off fluids and filling up tires, which I was led to believe when I called for a quote. The basic plan that includes all of that is much more, at $36. Also, the Yelp coupon is only for FULL service, which is a lot more expensive, making it not worth it. read more
