Yes, their prices are a little more expensive than some if the big box stores but anytime I've had a question about something I didn't know they've always been able to answer it and/or solve it for me. They do have a good assortment of different items and if they don't have it or have been out of stock they have either ordered it or got it back in stock in a short amount of time. They do have a small parking lot. They're located not far off of route 8. Only about a mile off of the highway. Tis the season upon us for ice and snow, they've always had ice melt in stock when the big box stores have sold out. So don't be to quick to forget about them or discount them. They're a great resource there when you need it. Stop on by. You'll see.

My deck and fence hadn't been stained for 10 years, the fence was still in good shape, but the deck needed a serious refresher. However, the new shade of stain with the same name made by the same manufacturer wasn't the same as when we last used it - apparently, they changed their formulation from oil to latex - might that be why? Anyway, I pestered the c**p out of Ethan to try to make the colors match, and he gallantly gave it his best effort in a one-hour engagement - where I clearly had worn out my welcome, though he didn't let it show - and got it close, but it still wasn't the same. I went back later on in the day with my wife - the one with the keen eye for colors - and Claudia patiently worked with us to try different shades in different brands. We found one that was closer, but still not a match. But when I mixed a gallon of that with the original 5-gal I started with, it matched very well. Problem solved, and the story comes to an end but for my repeated praise for these two young sales professionals that were clearly well trained and have a bright future ahead of them.
