Sloppy job of 'overlay' to make do. Light looked like it was smashed so hard to get my hand in to cure the product. Filing was not adequate - uneven and not matching other nails. Went there as a walk-in and they were able to get me in right away. Everything was fine until the lady started painting them (unsure of her name). I noticed my right ring finger was crooked. I didn't say anything as I was in a rush and had another appointment in 10 minutes. I then get home and after having them done for a total of an hour and a half I noticed the paint was peeling off my thumb. It kept getting caught on things so I peeled it off and underneath the paint was still wet. VERY disappointing! Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

I went here the other day and got a full set by Mary and was very disappointed. I asked for French tips and this is a little extreme. I also asked her to cut them shorter three separate times, and still had to file them myself after leaving because they were jagged. read more

Then another lady took me and she also painted on my cuticles and messed up very bad. So I had to settle with clear gel. BUT it gets worse: if zoom into the side of my ring finger you see a big black hair. I refuse to come back. read more

I like the way my powder dip nails look and last, but the experience is terrible! Even with an appt. they work on two people at one time. So what should take less than an hour, always takes 1 1/2 hours minimally. It is never a relaxing experience, and never an experience of being pampered. Feels like a rushed crazy place with people being promised that they will be with them in 5 minutes, and it is 20 minutes at best! Take me to a relaxing experience again! It won't be here! read more

Service isn't always friendly; they definitely are trying to get people in and out as fast as possible and don't necessarily care that there's a person attached to the end of the hands. BUT...I never had a problem with the quality of the work! Gel nails stayed put for three weeks, in fact the only reason I took them off was because my always short and stubby nails had actually grown out too long, strengthened by the gel. So if you're willing to put up with the lack of smiles, they seem to do exactly what they should, and if your experience is like mine, you'll get your money's worth. read more

Yesterday, around 5pm I went into American Nails to get French Tip (powder) Set.. When I walked in they were busy and when I started to sign in a lady yelled across from the salon "how can we help you" I replied w/ "French Tip". She gets up from helping another customer and came to me and said what do you want to be done. I replied again "French Tip Powdered. She said "Okay" it will be a while. I told her I didn't have any problem waiting. I sat on their couch for about 25 mins until a young lady walked in. The same lady asked her what she wanted and She replied w/ "a filling". The worker said "okay we will take you now" and walked her to the back. I was still sitting on the couch and another worker asked me again, what I wanted done. I told she the same thing so she told me to sit in seat #8 so, I did.... I sat there for another ten mins which the first time it didn't annoy me but, when they skipped over me to help somebody else first I was annoyed!!! Finally another worker walks up to me and said Ill need you to move to #6 seat so, I moved and she sat accross from me and asked again, "what would you like I said again", French Tips w/ the powder and she stared at me like she had no idea what I was talking about. I tried to explain it to her but, she had no clue. Another customer showed her what I was talking about because she had the same ones done. Then the worker said to me "Oh no, that takes to long please move to seat #8 and please wait" and then she started helping another customer. I waited for another 8 mins until another worker came up to me and asked me agian what I wanted. The last employee finally started and finished my nails. When I went to pay I handed another emloyee a gift certificate and my debit card. She hands back my debit card and said "use atm". I turned around and they had an atm. Of course there is a atm fee of $2.75... I have never had an issue with this company before but, because of their rudeness and unprofessional attitude; I will not be returning. I would have walked out but, I had a gift certificate. Oh and my nails look horrible!!!! read more
