This was my first time here. I don't have a nail salon I frequent often. I got a Deluxe Spa gel pedicure and it was great. Dan was my nail tech and he was kind and gentle. Daughter gave me a US Nail $56 gift certificate with a expiration date written on certificate that was not legal, all certificates bought have 5 yr minimum expiration, they essentially took the money and provide no service for money given and would not honor the gift certificate when trying to use. They lost three customers in my family over 56 dollars, they should not be a service provider if the customer is scammed. This is the worst place ever, they are non professional at all, my daughter wants an ombre nails and the results was horrible, some nail was short other long, some square other round, a big mess. My daughters and granddaughters have been going for years and had never had a problem. We went a few weeks back and my daughters nail polish literally wiped off before we got to car. Went back in to have them repainted. Yesterday, my other daughter, granddaughter and I went. A new "tech" did my daughters and they looked horrendous!! While drying she asked another tech to look at them and she, thankfully, repainted them. The other techs noticed what was happening and started talking (not in English) and were staring at my daughter. I paid and instructed the owner who I wanted the tips to go to, and not the one that messed up. Needless to say, that started a whole other rather loud discussion throughout the salon With everyone staring at me. First off, they never asked anybody to wash their hands. Or sprayed after each customer got up. The owner Andy T, his gloves were so used that the tips were yellow and broken from a day (or more) of use. It used to be nice and it has def gone down hill.. I asked the owner Andy, twice, and showed him a photo to do an "American tip" acrylic set and he gave me a full on French tip, not American tip. Made my cuticle bleed and then charged me 35$ for changing it!! I called him up asked why my card was charged extra for that and he started to yell at me, the whole nail place was full of customers when I left so I know everyone they could hear him yelling at a customer over the phone, that makes me happy to know he showed his weakness to MANY of his customers and not just me. (We talked while he was doing my nails, I mentioned I hadn't been there in a year due to the PANDEMIC) and when he was yelling at me over the phone so much that I couldn't speak he said to me "you don't tell me! Because you havnt been here in a year, I know nails!!" Him nor I need to "know nails" to know this is a FRENCH TIP. An idiot could tell you this is NOT American Tip nails (I attached photo to show his failure of knowledge, even though he claims he knows nails) I even told him it's not about money, never once asked for any money back or mentioned money period. I just wanted to know the difference between American set and a French set. I don't want the money back, they did the work they keep the money. I just wanted to understand the difference. They look fine other than the bleeding but will never be going in there again.my family has gone here for years we knew some of the old workers by name. It's wild how a place can turn. Ashamed Andy was so upset he needed to yell at me and told me not to come back. I couldn't even talk he was going off so much. It must of been a bad day for him personally, we all have bad days. But no excuse to yell at me over obvious mistakes. (Again photo attached, proof is in the pudding) Again, it's not about the money I didn't even ask for the money back at all. and he yelled at me like a crazy person. I won't be buying all my moms gift certificates here anymore and she was upset to hear what happened when I called her. That's two customers. Then interrupted my pedicure with a phone call and texting. she was not very focused and did not trim my nails very well. applying polish was sloppy. then I made the mistake of proceeding with the same person for a manicure. she did not file as I asked and got indignant when I asked she to file again. Honestly this salon is horrible if you want acrylic nails. Every time I've went, or my sister has went with our mom the nails came out looking horrible.. they've rushed through them, and are really rough on hands. They charge by length of the nails. If you want Gel with no acrylics you'll be fine. If you want a pedi that's fine as well. But I'd RUN for the hills if you want fake nails put on. My sister paid $35 for these atrocities and is to embarrassed to go in public with them so now we're getting them fixed today at my normal salon. I can't even believe they would let her walk out of the salon with them looking like this.. there is no shape whatsoever to them. Three attendants were trying to get my credit card through but evidently didn't know what they were doing. I finally offered to pay cash. We thought the charge didn't go through. An incredibly unorganized place. I've been coming here for several years, but I'm finally fed up with the chaotic way it's run. You'll get seated at a station or chair quickly, but you never know how long it will be until someone gets to you. On my last visit, I came for a pedicure for myself and my small daughter. We were seated quickly, but an hour went past and they hadn't even started on us, nor was anyone acknowledging how long we had been waiting. If it's going to be an extended wait, then that should be said upfront, so the customer can decide if the timing works. Two stars as the ladies who work there always do an excellent job. read more

Everything seemed to have gone pretty smooth with the exception of some slightly harsh filing. A few days later almost all of my fingers were bruised under my nails at the finger tips. They were kind of blistery as well. It had to come from the vigorous filing of the nails. I can endure a lot of pain so I thought nothing of it at the time but that was my final straw. I'm sure a lot of people know about the legislation below that was created to enable people to use "expired" gift certificates they misplaced or simply forgot to use. The law basically states that gift certificates do not expire. This was done to protect consumers. Obviously, all business owners do not know the law. I just had a terrible experience at the US NAILS in Southfield Center----literally over a $13 gift certificate that the owner refused to accept for payment. This after I was a customer of his for several years there AND had my daughters wedding party there to get manicures and pedicures spending several hundred dollars in his shop. I stopped going to US Nails some time ago because their work was inferior to other shops I have used in the past. Regardless, the owner refusing to accept my gift certificate is unacceptable...and against the law. There are nail shops on every corner, in every shopping center so I will not be going back to this shop. I hope you don't either. By the way, their use of razors for pedicures is also illegal in Missouri!!! read more

I went here with my aunt around 1:30 PM, she got a gel manicure and I was planning on getting my full set removed and getting a gel manicure as well. I had my doubts about the nail tech from the start because it seemed as if us entering the shop interrupted his smoke break, nonetheless, I thought what I wanted wasn't a tall order for a nail shop. He was very sloppy and seemed as if he'd never touched one of those tools in his entire life. Still, I let him continue. While he was trying to take the acrylic nails off (keep in mind I say trying because at the end of the hour long visit, the acrylic still isn't fully off of my nails), he dug into my ring fingernail on my right hand. I pulled away and told him it hurt and felt like he was digging into my real nail but he insisted that wasn't the case. Just as I suspected, he had been digging inside my real nail and chopped half of my real fingernail off. I was furious from that point on but he insisted he still (attempt to) get the acrylic off of my nails. The whole "session" took about an hour and we were charged $10. After two failed attempts at other locations, I went where I should've gone first! Conveniently located in the Schnucks plaza, this salon was top notch. The staff was friendly and even asked my name which I have yet to see at any of the other salons I go to. The attention to detail was fantastic. Usually you're rushed out with jagged edges that I must file off myself. Here, they meticulously shaped and painted each nail as if they were caring for their own hands- no jarring pulling or stabbing with tools. The spa pedi was fantastic. The massage lasted for probably 15-20 minutes and the pressure points were hit just right. I'll definitely be returning. I'll be bringing friends. And I may even convince the boyfriend to experience the spa pedi. read more

I refuse to go to any other nail salon. I always book appointments ahead of time and request a particular technician who does the best job ever. This place can get packed and for a very good reason. So, if you don't make an appointment in advance, you have nobody to blame but yourself. Where else can you get the kind of high quality mani/pedi that includes attention to detail, paraffin wax, leg massage, bottle of water, and razoring the backs of your feet in an awesome massage chair at such reasonable prices? Plus, the owners, Andy and Jackie, treat their customers well. My husband loves getting pedicures here, and I've recommended them to friends and co-workers. I don't trust my nails with anyone else. The only way that they could possibly make my experience better would be to offer wine instead of water. I might just want to live there. read more
