Rather than acknowledge her tardiness or even apologize, she began service in such a hurried fashion. When I asked that she clean under my nail bed and shape my nails (they were chipped and uneven) before adding tips, rather than simply perform the request she proceeded to feign confusion, argue with me about what I meant, and call me "aggressive" for what was a pretty straightforward request. I recognize that miscommunication happens and we all have bad days, but to fall back on a lazy and racist trope such as calling a Black woman customer "aggressive" for making a reasonable request was extraordinarily poor form and absolutely appalling. As a paying customer, I deserve to ask for what I want and to experience good quality service. If I see you missing steps, mishandling the health of my nails, or rendering inconsistent quality, it is my literal right to ask that you address the problem. Rather than just take ownership for her behavior, Twin and her supervisors refused to service me altogether. Needless to say, I will not be back.
