Bill Jr only knew him never talk to but i needed work done and trusted Bill Sr so I did business with Billy even though the business was sold to Alex new owner let me say as a small business owner spending over $100,00 with another small business that says something even though most of the time there was rework i let it slide Billy got it done now my last project in Bills Marine Trading getting the name correctly was absolutely the worst Billy jr left and opened his own shop very happy for him .after i got my boat out of the shop and being honest my customer had money issues but I paid in full for 2 complete running 525 engines what I got was shit put together meaning alarms missing parts & work not done to standards. I put my friendship with Billy to the test as I trusted him lets say there was a falling out .But Billy called and we spoke I paid for parts and labor with my guy to finish the job. Billy came though because he knew what was missing and not done. Alex ows my company money which he has to this day has called me after ripping off my other customers engine brand new and tried to fix i layer out $ 10,000 for a new engine Alex only made one payment and his check bounced so I dealt with it keep our customers happy before it turns south. Alex is in a business he has no idea about he's not a mechanic and the people working for him can't change oil with out goggle. Now his doors are locked boats all over the street if you have a boat there go get it before the landlord tows it.if you spent money write it off because your not going to see it again. He uses your money to fund another job and keeps asking for more. JUST SAY NO TO BILLS MARINE TRADING OWNER ALEX. Over that period of time it has constantly continued to improve and is now what I would consider to be the best marina around offering a total range of marine services and equipment. It by and far has the best bang for your buck for experienced labor, good workmanship, parts and equipment. I also like their location on the Dania Cut Off, which is far less cramped and more spacious than those located along the Intracoastal which always seem to have a more rushed more hassle of an environment in which to perform marine services.

I really like their new store as the interior is twice as large and you now have great parking. It's far better than the old 24th Street location. Sailorman is not your ordinary marine supply and equipment store. They have both new and used items here for sale and if you have an item you no longer need, they might be interested in purchasing it from you. What's really special about the place are the prices. Often time less than on third of what the same may be at West Marine. Braided docking lines, for example, at around $9.00 when the same at West are $29.00. And as a tip, if you're making the purchase of a big ticket item like a windless, don't hesitate to make an offer of slightly less than the tagged price. I have and they've been more than happy to accept it.

Since it was late on Friday he said he would check on it 1st thing Monday morning and call me. Amazingly he called with the information and I ordered two. He was able to pick them up from his supplier and had them for me within a couple hours! It was refreshing that someone did what they said they would do. You know in South Florida its not always like that. The amazing customer service shouldn't be over looked either. Very courteous, respectful and good at communicating.
