Apparently the Yelp info has not been updated. I was placed on hold for approx. 10 minutes. The page states that they indeed do sell ZEISS lenses. I posed this question to the person who answered. I was placed on hold again for several minutes, after having to repeat and spell ZEISS. She had never heard of that brand. After my second wait, I was told that they do not use ZEISS. I guess I'll go elsewhere.

There is no online appointment but calling to make one is very easy. Dr.Ly take the time to do a very thorough eye exam and explain the process. I have United healthcare vision insurance through my workplace and the staff went over to the process on how to get a reimbursement which is very easy. All in all a great place to go to if you ever need an eye doctor.

My wife has been seeing Dr. Schneid for just as long, and our kids have been seeing him their entire lives (they are 16 and 19 now). He provides bespoke service for his customers/patients/clients and is like an old school doctor, there when you need him and tailoring his services to meet the needs of his patients. He takes his time and never rushes through an appointment. And in addition to his top-notch optical care, he is also very relatable, dispensing sage advice and with a caring manner. First off: I love they have more space but now having gone twice i've noticed they seem 1-2 people short of being fully staffed. The glasses tech that was helping me was simultaneously helping another person and a couple other people seemed to be doing 2 or 3 different things at the same time. This can lead to some longer waits, but not too bad. Second: They had me in the system as showing up for new contacts, even though i'd ticked the "I wear glasses and contacts" button online. This one was solely for a new, maybe back-up pair of glasses. My dr. (Judith) seemed a bit confused that I didn't want that, since I really only wear contacts when at the beach, and had to change that on my chart. She also was very perturbed that, since my last visit, I hadn't followed up with a recommended glaucoma doc because of my "large optic nerves" and family history (a grandparent). She kind of scolded me for it, and to be frank, that seemed a bit unnecessary. Why? well, life got busy last year after my last visit in various ways. And, i'd been told there could be quite the wait with that doc. Also, every other eye doc i've seen has said to just "monitor it" however possible. Lastly, I think it's pretty normal to forget to follow up with a recommended specialist, especially when my vision is fine.

I would be more than happy to return the glasses but the hassle free return end after 30 days and the bill came in today. I checked my insurance website and they were told back in November that they wouldn't cover the whole thing. So they could have told me back then instead of waiting till after the return period. Don't pay until after you get confirmation from your insurance company. Call them yourself. Don't let MyEyeDr tell you it's covered.

This was the first time I've put on new glasses and everything felt right immediately. I will recommend Dr. Kepner and this location to everyone I know. I went back to bard and they said unfortunately you didn't buy the warranty, I thought it came with the glasses after spending that much money! I found frame menders on the net. Sent them in and got them back in 2 days! If I ever need glasses fixed, I would definitely go back there! I would also stay away from BARD optical as they don't stand behind their products!!
