We've used American Pest control for about a year now and I must say they've done a great job with our house. They always schedule us around the same time each month which is nice to make sure we're getting a consistent spray over time. They've significantly cut down on the amount of bugs we've seen both inside and outside. They're consistent, always on time, and always are knowledgeable about what we need done. Have used American Pest Control for years! Were using another "local" company before and never knew when or if they would show up. Have cameras and would bill us, yet nobody ever came for months at a time. They were charging way too much for what little they did and American Pest is fair and reasonable! Lifelong Vegas residents so we KNOW who is the BEST. Our technician is Tim M. and the most knowledgeable, thorough, kindness person ever. Extremely respectful of our property. Called for Bee problem. They said they would be at my home from 9-11 Fri. I get a call at 9 saying that they would be able to come on Sat. I think not. Considering I have to be at home and take off work on a Friday and waiting around for someone not coming is very bad customer service. read more

We have been a customer of American pest control for a while now. I have to tell you they're unlike most businesses you find now a days. There absolutely amazing at what they do. The thing that makes them really stand out is they care and make you feel like your family. Dustin is our guy and let me tell you he's such a pleasant, nice and respectful young man. I probably set him a little behind when he's here because I enjoy visiting with him so much. If you need a new pest company give them a try. There reasonable and great at keeping bugs away. We received service for years. Ended up stopping service because they weren't able to eradicate ant problem. In their defense they were always responsive and polite. The technicians were personable and each time they laid out manual ant bait traps which helped for around a month but it still resulted in pests. read more

The service technician who came to my house was arrogant and rude. Not only to me, but to other family members who were in town. My father in law (a contractor) asked him if he could put mouse traps in the crawl space underneath the kitchen, and he proceeded to give a 5-minute lecture about how it was against the law. A simple "it's against our policy" would have done. The experience made me cancel my 3-month contract with the company out of disgust. Not to mention that 2 weeks after they sprayed, I've found 3 cockroaches and ants still in the house. Never will give them my business again. read more

I've had nothing but excellent service from American Pest Control. Sandra who works in the office is great. My exterminator Jim has helped cure my house of an obnoxious ant problem. Even when I haven't been on his route he has worked me in to help take care of any problem I may have. They treat you like your one of the family. A rep from their company comes to inspect my house for a pigeon problem. He doesn't introduce himself, no card, nothing. I ask him what he's going to do and gives me a line of bs. I know because I'm a retired owner of a pest company. I say are you going to do xyz? He says no, "I know what I'm doing", not to me. I'd rather live with the pigeons than let this jerk near my house. They haven't done a thing. And for the record. I was a client for almost five years and never missed a payment or had any problems with the company. I am very happy with the service I have received from American Pest Control. The people in the office are very nice, and put the customer needs above all else. Thank-you so much to them. Most of my contact with this company is with my technician Rick Tapia. Rick is extremely polite, courteous and professional. His knowledge in his field is unbelievable, and he has totally been a huge help with the pests that I inherited with the purchase of my house....now they are pretty much gone, and Rick maintains my property to perfection. It seems he goes above and beyond just to make sure I am happy with the service. He takes his job personal and serious, and wants his clients to be happy. If an issue comes up, Rick is right there taking care of it. He leaves me with no worries and that is just cool. He always asks if there is anything else he can do for me, and puts my needs first. I appreciate that. Rick cares for customer's yards as if they are his own. That says a lot. Rick is aces, and APC should be proud to know that he represents his company well. Wish I could give them 10 stars. We found this company after an unfortunate incident with our previous pest control company. From Sandy, to Michelle who answered the phone and set up the first visit, to Rick who showed up to do my initial service the other day they are absolutely the loveliest people to deal with. They are professional, courteous and respectful. If my first encounter with all of them is any indication of the relationship that is to come in the future I will be an exceptionally happy person. American Pest Control is the most skilled pest control I've ever used here in Las Vegas. We been utilizing them for several years now, and each time Tim arrives, he is friendly and professional. Tim is particularly methodical in his approach to pest control, and he listens to your concerns and troubleshoots your problem areas, when applicable. Tim always calls prior to the service, which I find very helpful. I've never had to call him back because he missed something. Excellent service. Chinch bugs, spiders, and I don't know what else, were creeping all around my house due to a neglected lot adjacent to us. Chinch bugs were killing what little grass I had, miniature spider webs appeared everywhere. It was panic time! I looked up the nearest pest control company. Currently Tim is our technician and has been great! He calls and confirms the night before service. He is on time and he phones if there is something that delays him significantly.
