I used Maqsood for all of my wedding events and an engagement shoot and have been thrilled with the results. Maq is extremely passionate about his work, he really cares about getting the best out of the photographs he takes. I had reviewed the wedding albums of a couple of friends he had done, so I was aware of the quality of his work. What I did not expect was getting a photographer who is friendly and full of energy! Maqsood was able to entertain us and guests when taking pictures, and was even willing to help with crowd control during wedding events! They guy even does magic tricks and jokes (heavy on the cheese with the jokes!). Maqsood's wife, Kavita, is also a great photographer. She has a keen attention to detail and was instrumental during our portrait shots. She recommended poses that we thought would look weird, but they turned out looking awesome in print. She also was able to suggest what colors to wear that improve the quality of our shots. In addition she is a whiz at Photoshop, so she and Maqsood are able to put together some very creative collage shots Maqsood also threw in some surprises in our prints, he gave us some free metallic paper prints because they thought the pictures turned out so well. If that doesn't speak to the type of guy Maqsood is, I don't know what will. I would use him again in a heartbeat. read more

I was suggested by my sister in law (for my wedding photography) to go to maqsood since he covered her wedding 10 years ago and till this day my in laws talk about the pictures and his work. I can't say enough good things about Maqsood and Kavita! I am so glad we picked Maqsood to be our photographer for our wedding. He attended all 3 of our events and had amazing shots. At first my husband and I of course did some shopping around before we selected Maqsood. He was a little on the pricier side but he definitely worked with our budget. Its very hard for me, and I'm sure any other bride, to be stress free during the time of the wedding. But honestly, Maqsood and his wife, who is also an amazing photographer, made me feel comfortable, they joked around, made me laugh, and made me feel at ease when all the shots were being taken. One of the biggest things i can not thank them enough for, is when we were taking group pictures on the stage. They made sure EVERYONE was able to be seen, had their eyes open, and looked at the camera. My husband & I planned a wedding in a month & Maq was referred to us by Avonne from Rosedale Flowers. We were so impressed when we first met with him & showed his work of art.
