Hours Tuesday-Friday 4-8. On the weekend, closed for anchor business/catering. This place is a treasure; best food in any direction for 60 miles. Haven't tried the entire menu but impressed by full flavor, presentation and high aim. Only disappointment was 22 oz. I really wanted to give this restaurant a good. review. The food was good and service was fine. When we went to pay for our dinner we asked for a to-go box for our leftovers and were told that the to-go boxes on the counter were for pick up orders only. I've never experienced that at a restaurant. We were told they could get us paper plates and tin foil instead. We asked for a bunch of plates and foil because you have to use so much more to package everything than to-go boxes. It seems like that might have been to save money but that seems incredibly stingy considering the prices of menu items were about 3x that of anywhere within 50 miles. That was slightly disappointing but bearable. What really got me was when the waiter that was helping us went and openly mocked my wife to the kitchen staff when she asked for a bag to carry all of our to-go plates. I've never experienced such a rude act at a restaurant by the staff and couldn't believe that's the way they conduct themselves as a business. Based on previous reviews and responses from the business it sounds like that a lack of hospitality is a trend here. read more

Food and service are impeccable, first rate. Just wish they were open more.the menu items are well thought out.

I've been here for dinner a few times now - each time was wonderful... until yesterday. The (high school student) Server has no personality whatsoever, didn't greet us, just stared at us - we had to ask if we seat ourselves. Didn't know what was on several dishes, or dessert, she had to go back in the kitchen and ask each time, didn't ask if we needed anything throughout our meal - we had to go to the counter. She did manage, however, to flirt with our teen son. Dining room and kitchen was dimly lit. No ambiance, muted tv, you could hear a pin drop it was so quiet, cold feeling... not very inviting. I ordered from the Specials on the back of the Menu 'BBQ Chicken Sandwich' without bread, salad and ice water (lemon and lots of ice). I got a glass of water with a few pieces of ice, when I asked for a glass of ice, you would've thought I insulted her, by the look on her face. The chicken pieces were small, cold and VERY dry, no flavor, no BBQ sauce - set on the side of my salad... whole plate was lettuce and spinach. for $11+... ?!? I realize this is a very small town, and truth be told, I can be a bit persnickity... but regardless, service and good food will always bring you back... perhaps it was an off day. read more

Ate at American Pie today and it was GREAT! I had the Torpedo Sub and tots. Amy and her staff were so polite and pleasant to speak with. I can say my experience couldn't have been better AND my sandwich was awesome. Thanks American Pie, I plan to be a repeat visitor!! read more

Nobody there when we arrived. Shortly thereafter the place was got busy and the waitress and cook kept up really well. Food. came pretty quick. Basic hamburger and fries, pizza's, and a line of sandwiches. 6 seafood basket choices,tacos, natchos, burritos, beer, wines, Milkshakes. Family friendly. Good place to grab a quick bite to eat. This was a complete dissappointment. There were only 2 tables of people when the 4 of us walked in. Ordered some milkshakes and water this too about 15 min to receive. Then rest of our meal took about 35 more mins. The garlic chicken pizza we ordered was advertised as fresh hand tossed crust. No way...sooo bad. Horrible white sauce hardly any toppings and terrible pre made crust $22 for a 12". Fish tacos were awful as well. Black olives, some kinda ranch dressing, and some cheddar cheese on stale flour tortillas. My cheeseburger was fine. Won't be back after this $75 meal for 4 at a "diner". read more

We love to eat at American Pie!! They serve delicious coconut shrimp, wonderful burgers, and their French fries are to die for! Be sure to try their shakes and desserts too! Our kids, grandchildren and cousins love to eat there! read more

We were on a road trip and had read about this place from the yelp reviews. It is clean, and the menu gives a traveler some nice options. We'd read that the shakes were good, so my husband was anxious to try one. He asked the waiit staff if they had malt; she was new (two days) so she had to go ask. No malt. So he asked for a chocolate marshmellow milkshake. She had to go ask, and yes they could do that. Imagine my hubby's surprised when she sat his milkshake in front of him with marshmallows (frozen hard as rocks) floating throughout the shake. He told her he couldn't drink it, and would she bring him a new shake. She asked the manager who said yes, but he'd be charged for both shakes. The manager made the brand new employee come and tell my husband while she hid behind the grill. Pretty bush league as far as we were concerned. The food was satisfactory, and a traveler has to understand that there aren't many choices in that area. The food was over priced. Our meal was almost 40.00. (Of course we paid for an extra shake). read more
