Super pizza and specialty dessert! The service was good as well. Typical pizza joint atmosphere.

Good pizza with good prices. The chicken Alfredo pizza is great. We also like their buffet.

Always great food even when you order it to go. Ready on time and not overly priced. The kids and the adults love the food.

We were visiting a park nearby on a Sunday afternoon and wanted to have lunch first in Thomaston…read more At around noon, there did not appear to be a lot of options, especially on the town square. Luckily, Slices was open and there was plenty of street parking. We were seated promptly. Our server was efficient and brought our waters out quickly. It took a while for our slices, but we could watch the pizza-baking process from our booth. We each got a slice and they were definitely big enough to serve as a meal! They were cooked well, and the ingredients tasted fresh. I would readily return here for more pizza if I were ever back in town.

It was good that he put a glove one to drop some food in the batter before dropping it in the fryer... but then to take glove off and go back to touching everyone else's ready to eat food without gloves, just plain nasty. After observing this place for 30 minutes something tells me not a single employee has attended servesafe nor would they understand anything about food safety. After observing this, my sandwich finally coming out, it was really pathetic. I get food costs are hitting us all but please raise your prices accordingly. The Cuban sandwich needs a little more ham than 1 paper thin slice per half. It also could use more than .5oz of whatever they are trying to pass off as roasted pork. Anyway overall a massive train wreck at this place. I would avoid it at all cost until they work through their food safety problems. P.s. tell your line cook that he is supposed to sani his knives after cutting something with them... not just wipe them off and put them back on the food safe surface... and for that matter please ask him to sani the food "safe" surface too. Since that was done at no point and time during my 45 minutes lunch.

I wouldn't have brought my kids here. The lady who grabbed my order was lovely too. Highly recommend. Parking is HARD to find. We ordered a margarita pizza, lame kids cheese pizza and salad. The salad was so fresh!!!! The margarita pizza I inhaled it was so delicious. My picky kids approved of the cheese.

Not my first time here, but it is my first review for them! This is really good pizza! (Is there…read morebad pizza?) very traditional, thin, Neopolitan style crust. Not huge, but two or three people could enjoy. (6 slices cut) I wanted to try something different so we got two and boxed the rest. Shelby greeted and seated us, and although she lacked a little knowledge on the beer menu, she made up for that with a trip to the bar to investigate our questions on sour beer, and came back with two excellent samples! We settled on a Dr. Robot and the Charcut-a-pie. I loved the toppings and balsamic drizzle. Goat cheese and arugula just go together. A little honey and I was in heaven! The crust on this one was a little well done, which disappointed but, the overall flavor was on point. Next, we sampled the Spicy Italian. I'm usually pretty good with spicy things, and while this was no exception, it did have both of us in a small sweat! If you are averse to spicy, stick with something else. This crust was also cooked and not over done. I'm not sure what McDonoughs' obsession is with vaults, but it seems to be a recurring theme around the square. You'll find vaults or at least doors that look like vaults all over. The rest of the decor inside and outside was well done. Exposed brick gives it immediate rustic charm, while black floors, raw wood art, and leather stools wrap the package nicely. I definitely like their lighting! Oversized bulbs hung around the pizza oven bar (which you can sit at if there's space) and giant hoop rings finish the rest of the space. It isn't that glaring light that spotlights your table, it's just a nice warm ambient light that makes you wanna pour a vintage red into a wine glass over and over. Oh! I almost forgot, they do have an outdoor patio up front, so on those less humid days and nights, I'll definitely be hanging out there!
