    Baked Spaghetti.
    Jeff L.

I Love Lucky's. My Dad and I used to go there at the old location. We were overjoyed when we found they had moved, not closed down. I had the baked spaghetti. I was disappointed. Big bowl that had a baked crust of meaty and cheesy red sauce. It was a half inch of beauty with 3 inches of noodles under it. I was disappointed. The rest of the meal was fantastic.

We chose Lucky's for a special dinner. First, although Lucky's has a Mulberry St address it can only be accessed via College Dr. Inside the decor is different but interesting. There were only two waitresses but they did their best, especially considering there was a large (8-10) party that needed a lot of attention. The stuffed mushrooms had a decent seafood stuffing, 4/5. The lobster ravioli was just OK. The sauce had a flavor we didn't care for, 3/5. The stuffed shells in marinara sauce were very good. The cheeses were an excellent blend of ricotta, mozerella, and romano and was well seasoned, 4.2/5. The portion sizes were perfect. Overall we spent $61.30, including tax and two glasses of wine. FYI there is a 4% surcharge if you use a card.

Fiancé and I stopped in for the first time, excited to get good authentic Italian food. For starters, there's no signage, been going to big-chic chicken, this place was directly across the street, who who. Walking into the place, there was no Italian feeling. The decor was very cluttered a bunch of hodgepodge put together, no clue it was Italian. Color decor horrible, bold green walls (where we sat), black table clothes and blue set covers. Fiancé and I have a home refresh business and would love to make sense of this restaurant. We sat down and not sure if the chairs were high or the table was short. The pendent lights were low and was directly in my eyes the whole time. Next the waitress brought out bread, wow store bought white bread, very disappointed at this point. We ordered, started with stuffed mushrooms, ok flavored but seriously swimming in olive oil. I had their famous spaghetti and she had the lobster ravioli. Spaghetti or or shall I say angel hair pasta, it had no sauce, just chunks of some meat and tomatoes and things, was very bland. Fiancé stating the lobster ravioli was OK. I lived in Italy for several years while serving in the Marine Corps. Let me tell you this, there is no authenticity to this restaurant. Personally, I believe the owner has a clue about Italian food, but that's my opinion. On a positive note, the waitresses were very nice.

First time at this restaurant and we were impressed! Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We had the shrimp cocktail, lasagna and chicken Marsala. Everything was delicious. Also had the banana pudding cheesecake and it was amazing!

Service is ridiculously slow and servers are not customer oriented. Not worth the wait. Go to Jimmys across the street.

I discovered this adorable restaurant while spending a summer in a very quaint and beautiful town…read moreoutside Atlanta, Georgia. It sits in the heart of downtown, like many other restaurants. But this Greek and Italian restaurant stood out from the rest. The murals on the walls and the green and red colors made me feel like I was in Italy on vacation. We settled in a booth, took one look at the menu, and decided we would do what we call a sampler! So we ordered a huge pizza that tasted as if it came right from Italy, but it had that New York-style taste I so love, too. The pasta was very hearty, meaty, with a light, rich sauce. I think it was a buttery type sauce. We added wings and calamari, which were just as good and flavorful. I like a lot of crispy crunch to my wings! Also, we couldn't leave without adding a dessert on the way out. I have to say the dessert display case is really something to admire. So we started with one dessert. I believe it was the tiramisu and a slice of cake that led to several more tastings and the purchase of more desserts on the way out; they were just so good! Now I have to give the staff a big thank you! We had a little one with us; she enjoyed the food, but the murals on the wall really caught her attention. She asked the staff a zillion questions, and they were so kind to her. Thank you again!

The waitress was very friendly. Our food came out in a decent amount of time and it was hot and delicious. I ordered Angel hair pasta with chicken and. My husband ordered pecan chicken. They were both so delicious but huge portions so I had a pretty big take home meal.. I also had for dessert some crème brûlée. It was delicious as well. I did not get a picture of it. I forgot. I highly recommend this place. We've been here twice and it has been a perfect experience both times

My recommendation is to Uber and then enjoy the square. I was meeting someone for lunch and this was in the middle from our destination. It had great reviews and pasta and was what I was craving. It's a small, warm and inviting little place. Service is fast and good. Menu is limited which is not a bad thing but enough variety. I absolutely loved my fettuccine. The pasta was made fresh and you could seriously taste the difference between fresh made and boxed pasta. The crème brûlée was on point and a great finish to lunch. I had plenty of left overs. If you're in the area, definitely stop in and get you some fresh pasta! This is located on the corner next to Queen Bee's Coffee shop.

From the appetizers all the way through dessert, we had a great experience. We started the table off with the risotto balls, fried calamari, and the fried mix plate, along with the complimentary bread they bring to the table. Having several appetizers to pass around was perfect for a group our size and gave everyone a chance to try a little bit of everything before the entrées arrived. For dinner, our table had several different dishes, including the Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Parmigiana, and Combination Plate. The portions were generous, the pasta was plentiful, and both parmigiana dishes came covered with a rich tomato sauce and plenty of melted, nicely browned cheese. This is definitely the type of Italian food you come hungry for! I also finished things off with a cappuccino, which was hot, creamy, frothy, and topped with cinnamon the perfect way to end a big Italian meal. Since we were there for my daughter's birthday, they brought out their fried pizza dough tossed in cinnamon and sugar and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It was warm, crispy, sweet, and something different from the typical birthday dessert. It was also perfect for passing around the table and sharing with everyone. A special mention has to go to our server. Taking care of a party of more than 20 people is a lot to manage, but our server was friendly, helpful, attentive, and funny. That personality really added to the evening and helped make my daughter's birthday celebration even more enjoyable. Overall, The Italian Oven was a great choice for our family celebration. Good appetizers, generous portions, classic Italian comfort food, a fun birthday dessert, and great service, even with a party of over 20.

I was in the mood for something good to eat, and I knew I really had to have something good that would satisfy my cravings. I needed hearty, seasoned, a good portion size, and great service. As such, I ended up at The Italian Oven Restaurant, and I am so happy I did. This time, my server was Sarah, and Sarah was amazing. She was so peasant and attentive to the needs of the table. Sarah ensured we didn't want for anything, allowed us time to review the menu, and shared her insights on the new specialty menu items. Thanks to Sarah I ended up getting the Cheese Tortellini with Buffalo Chicken. Let me explain! I received the specialty menu, and my eyes immediately went to the Cheese Tortellini with Buffalo Chicken. I love Cheese Tortellini and I loveeeeeeeee Buffalo Chicken. Seeing them both together truly captivated me. Sarah advised that it has had nothing but good reviews, so I was sold and had to have it. The Cheese Tortellini with Buffalo Chicken was exactly what I needed. It was well seasoned, hearty, a great portion size, and best of all, it warmed my soul bite after bite. Anddddddddd, of course, I had pounds of fresh Parmesan cheese shredded on top of it. Ummmmmmm!!! This was exactly what I needed, and I must admit, I need it again this week!!!! If you are in the Stockbridge area and in need of something that pleases the soul, make time for The Italian Oven Restaurant asap.
