Starting from $8,000 up to $13,000. And get this. Was trying to sell us an upgrade package TO REPLACE OUR WORKING AIR CONDITIONER. We didn't have heat. We didn't care about our WORKING air conditioner. We wanted heat. So we declined the service. Called Bud's Heating & Cooling in Lapeer. They sent out a tech who identified the problem AND HAD THE PART ON HIS TRUCK and got it running in 20 minutes. Also the part he put on was a generic part. Two days later the tech ordered the correct part and brought it out and switched it at no additional costs. Now that's service. After reading the other one star reviews this sounds like this dishonest company does this predatory sales pressures all the time! Use Buds Heating & Cooling in Lapeer. Not these crooks.

I had my boiler serviced by J Fries three times since October; I've been down there several times…read moreopening the valve to release the pressure like Jim showed me to do when they were installing a new expansion tank (something that felt odd to me, constantly having to run down to do but it's my first time with a boiler system) it was taken out on me when they cracked my pipe when replacing the expansion tank, and I said I wasn't gonna pay for that. It felt awkward the rest of the time they were in my home. Now It's been below zero outside and my boiler still needs to be serviced. The next week water pressure went down throughout my house and Now I've had two plumbers come out and the city saying the boiler pipe has pumped 56,000 gallons of water under my house since the first week of February, the week after they cracked my pipe.

I scheduled this company to perform a furnace inspection during the fall of 2023 to make sure my…read morefurnace was working well as we enter the heating season. The mechanic checked my furnace, said all was well, but wanted to also perform a carbon dioxide test to make sure the levels were safe. he performed the test and said that he would have to shut the furnace down because it was unsafe at the carbon monoxide level that he was seeing on his monitor, 5 ppm. He also suggested that because the furnace was 20 years old, it may need to be replaced. He gave me an estimate as he left the house. of course I was concerned and immediately contacted several companies to come to my home and provide a quote for replacement of my furnace. Both companies that inspected my furnace said that it did not have a cracked heat exchanger, nor any other issues causing elevated carbon dioxide. Their tests revealed ZERO parts per million! I believe D and B was just trying to make a sale of a new furnace and I am very disgusted and upset, what a scam. Don't waste your money having this company perform any work on your HVAC systems.
