I left a voicemail talking about how I am $70 short because you guys put jewelry in, and both times it fell out within 2 days. TWO DAYS! AND YOU CHARGED ME FOR THE SWAP! TW for the pictures (blood, piercing) I got a navel piercing done last Tuesday here and everything seemed fine, she told me my anatomy was fine for the navel piercing and then did the piercing. That whole experience was good but when i got home i noticed a small v-shaped cut (i was told by another piercer this was from a dull needle and/or poorly done piercing job) near the hole of the top ball. Then I realized my navel collapses when I sit down so i was having discomfort and it was putting pressure on the piercing which was causing the top hole to widen and migrate. I decided to go to a different piercing shop to get a second opinion and I was told that the piercing would migrate even more and possibly not heal. On top of this he explained that the piercing was done completely in the wrong spot and way too high (basically a stomach piercing) and he said I was pierced with EXTERNALLY threaded low quality jewelry (against the health department regulations for body piercings), wrong gauge, wrong length and wrong type of jewelry. He informed me that I need a floating navel or much smaller bar to accommodate for my navel anatomy which was never mentioned by the piercer at American pride. I am extremely upset and have been crying about this because I had to remove the piercing which will scar and wait months to get it PROPERLY done by another piercing shop. I will provide pictures and I will not name who did it because I never complain or write reviews but I am so incredibly upset and angry that I spent $100 (with a tip) and I am left with nothing but a scar. I hope they can take responsibility and take better precautions when doing piercings. Please do extensive research before going to any random piercer or piercing shop like i did. read more

This shop had a change of hands in terms of management and I have to correct the record after my last review. I went back a couple years after my botched experience, to support a friend while he got his piercing. After seeing the care and precision of the new piercer, I decided to give him a go at restabbing my septum. He was professional, clean and informative and did a really great job. If you're looking to get pierced, steer very clear of this place. I am so very disappointed in the quality of my piercing. I came here to get my nipples pierced, one nipple is pierced perfectly. The other one, it's awful, the piercing is hanging on by a thread, it's so painful and pierced totally incorrect, I'd share a photo if I could but that's obviously not a thing. I wasted over $100 for this and at the end of the day I had to take one of them out bc the piercer made a mistake. It's super frustrating bc as you know, those types of piercings are very painful and take a lot of time to heal, so now If I want it re pierced it's going to be super painful and have a long time to heal because of someone's mistake. Operator error and now I suffer. Do better and do yourself a favor never come here ever read more

This place used to be good before Kat decided that my daughter could not get her ears pierced for her 13th birthday because we did not bring her birth certificate. Although she had her school ID and both her parents were with her. Also we had taken her there two times before to have her cartilage pierced 1 year ago. But Kat says they don't keep anything on file and was very short and rude. Will not return there! Go somewhere that wants your business and will actually try to accommodate you. read more

I called to go in to get an estimate and they told me to call later, I called later and there was no one to do the tattoo which I understood and they told me to call back the next day. The next day I call they said call the day after that and I asked if I could just make an appointment and they said didn't have the appointment book infront of them and did not go to look for it. Nice people, clean place... But so terribly overpriced. Had a tattoo done there and walked out crying about how it looked. It was supposed to be in the center of my back, it was SO far to the left. Some lines were bolder than others, lines weren't straight, they were shaky and wavy and it looked like a 10 year old tattooed me. Contacted my artist later and tried to schedule another appointment in order to fix it, and he never got back with me. So I went somewhere else where they totally fixed that awful job that American pride did.
