The piercing was booked with Ben on a Friday after the holiday at 3:30 when the place was jam packed with walk-ins. Somehow Ben and Al, who greeted us and helped us prior to our appt, were able to manage all of us and communicate along the way. They were awesome and their teamwork and service was top tier. They also both hyped me up about my stud and totally unprompted. My only regret is not booking another appt simultaneously when it was open LOL! Ben is by far the best piercer I've ever had. He also saved my sister fees by piercing her ear with a dull needle so she only had to pay for the jewelry. Overall I would recommend them to anyone! Worth the price and the wait. Took my daughter in for a Helix and doubles. paperwork is not, it's all on an ipad which was nice. Staff extremely friendly and helpful (she was nervous). Do the forms, pick your jewelry, pay, get pierced. Mike Moore was absolutely amazing with everything... he put my daughter at ease, talked her through every single step (I was allowed in the room with her during the piercing) and in general made this an exciting, memorable event. Ben is the G.O.A.T. ! First time ever getting a piercing and I am so glad that I took the chance to come here! My wife and I were looking for a safe, reliable place to get piercings. We stumbled upon this place right near our house and made an appointment to give it a go. Walking up to the door, I could see through the window this tattooed, pierced fellow that looked intimidating. Immediately after making our way through the door, Ben, was incredibly friendly and welcoming to the business and immediately understood that it was my first time getting anything done. He explained the process and led me over to the jewelry section to pick out my starter studs, which I was not expecting at all. I thought they'd be some clunky, ugly looking starter earrings. He then said that we needed to wait a little while for the equipment to be sterilized, which was very comforting and more reassuring that we chose the right place. When it came time for the piercing, he sat me down and explained EVERYTHING about what he was going to be doing to make me feel as comfortable as possible, with a lot of humor and laughs along the way. He was nice enough to point out that my earlobes are not the same size, so he needed to adjust one of the center points for where the needle would go through my ear to make it look more natural. He let me approve the process every step of the way. The needle going through my ear was relatively painless because he was gentle and careful. After both earrings were in place, he explained the in depth way to take care of them and clean them and to NOT follow what the mall stores tell you to do, as it risks infection. That's all I've ever read online, so this was comforting to know that there are more proper ways to take care of new piercings. Pros: -Ben is a rockstar at what he does! One word: AWESOME. I had my ears pierced *a million* years ago, and I took out my earrings with the intention of putting them back in, but life happened and the years flew by. Recently I went to put in a pair of earrings, thinking it was just yesterday that I took them out, and whaddaya know, the holes closed up on me. I know, I know, I did this to myself. I spent the week Googling places to get my ears re-pierced, reading Yelp reviews, and looking through pictures of past client work on Instagram. After narrowing down the 20+ open tabs in my browser, I settled on Ironclad Tattoo. Scheduling the appointment was quick and painless. I was able to find an appointment that worked with my schedule a few days out. They asked if I wanted to bring my own earrings, or if I wanted to purchase some while I was there. I opted to buy new earrings while getting my ears pierced so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything when I got there. When I arrived, I was happy to see that they are taking care of their employees and customers with a number of COVID precautions- appointments only- no walk ins, masks required by all, social distancing enforced, and plexiglass at the front desk. There was never a time during my appointment where I felt unsafe. Once I was checked in, they ran through the options for earrings and let me take some time to look. They had both gold and titanium options. There was a good selection to choose from. Once I chose my earrings, I filled out the health and consent form via iPad, and waited no more than 5 minutes before I was taken to one of the rooms to get my ears pierced. Shoutout to Chase, who pierced my ears. Before doing anything I told him my situation and he checked to make sure my previous piercings had closed up completely. He was really awesome and gave me two amazingly symmetrical ear piercings that were nearly painless; I'm talking like a 1 or 1.5/10 on the pain scale. I've had paper cuts that hurt worse than this. Before leaving he walked me through the aftercare, and made sure I was good with everything. All in all this was an awesome experience. By far the best place you can take yourself to get a piercing. I've gone to get an ear piercing (conch), along with two nipple piercings. When my body rejected one of the nipple piercings, I watched out to them a year and a half later and they got me in a few days later and took care of it free of charge. They are by far the most professional, clean, and well put together shop you can ever go to to get any type of piercing. I've never felt intimidated or out of place being there. Called and asked about pricing spoke to Ali and make the appointment. Was told $85 deposit to make appointment and it covers the piercing cost. And that jewelry (what we needed was $40 A PAIR (SO 2) for earrings and still $40 for a single stud for nose. Get to appointment, speak to Kacey, reiterate cost. $40 A PAIR, but now is $35 for nose stud. Ok cool. Get in the room to pierce. NOW Chase is messing with me saying it's gonna be $200 cuz it's $40 a piece (5 studs) and I said no and what I was told 2x $40 a pair and $35 nose single (2 ear each and 1 nose = 5 holes in total) went over it back and forth multiple times. Got on same page. Get to register...again says my total is $159 and I have you a discount because it is $40 a piece...at that point I paid it cuz I wanted to leave. This was my first time here, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself is really nice, and clean. Mike Moore did my piercing, and he did an excellent job! A septal is one of the more difficult piercings to do, and he nailed it (no pun intended ).
